Pentagon: Afghan Violence Up Nearly 90%

A new Pentagon report says violence in Afghanistan is up nearly ninety
percent from this time last year. Roadside bomb attacks were up 240
percent over the same period. Support for Afghan insurgents increased
from 33 Afghan districts to 48 as of last month.
