MacArthur Foundation Announce Genius Grant Recipients

The John D. and Catherine T. Mac Arthur Foundation has announced the
2009 recipients of the Mac Arthur Foundation’s genius grants. Recipients
include the Haitian American writer Edwidge Danticat, filmmaker James
Longley, and Jerry Mitchell, the Mississippi-based journalist whose work
has led to prosecutions in decades-old Civil Rights-era slayings.
