Low Power FM Movement Wins Victory on Capitol Hill

Supporters of expanding low power FM radio stations won a victory
Thursday when the House Energy and Commerce Committee passed the Local
Community Radio Act. The bill aims to repeal restrictions that
drastically limit channels available to low power FM stations.
