UN: 100,000 Displaced by Northern Iraq Drought

The United Nations, meanwhile, has disclosed over 100,000 people in
northern Iraq have been forced to abandon their homes because of drought
and excessive well-pumping since 2005. Another 36,000 are said to be on
the verge of displacement.
