5 Sentenced to Death in Iran Protests Trial

In Iran, state media is reporting five people have received death
sentences for taking part in the protests against the disputed national
elections earlier this year. More than one hundred opposition activists
have gone on trial for their alleged role in the unrest. At least three
others have also been sentenced to death.
