Mexican Journalist Killed After Warning of Threats

In Mexico, a journalist who warned of threats on his life by government
officials has been shot to death. Fifty-two-year-old Carlos Ortega
Samper was killed one day after his warnings were published. He was shot
three times by unidentified assailants in the northern state of Durango.
