Ethnic Studies Pioneer Ronald Takaki Dies at 70

Back in the United States, the ethnic studies professor and author
Ronald Takaki has died at the age of seventy. Takaki taught at
University of California, Berkeley, for more than three decades. He is
widely considered a founding figure in the field of multicultural
studies.
