State Department to Extend Benefits to Partners of Gay Diplomats

Meanwhile, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is expected to soon
announce that the partners of gay and lesbian US diplomats will be
eligible for many benefits currently denied them and allowed to spouses
of heterosexual diplomats.
