California Supreme Court to Rule on Gay Marriage Law Today

In California, the state Supreme Court will issue its ruling today on
whether the state’s gay-marriage ban will stand. In addition, the court
is expected to address the legal status of some 18,000 same-sex couples
who were married in California before voters approved Proposition 8,
banning same-sex marriage.
