Indian Human Rights Activist Dr. Binayak Sen Released on Bail

In India, human rights activist Dr. Binayak Sen has been released on
bail after being held for two years. Sen is the National Vice President
of the People’s Union for Civil Liberties. He was arrested in May 2007
for allegedly helping the Maoist insurgency in the state of
Chhattisgarh.
