Admin Might Not Release Torture Photos

The Obama administration is wavering on a vow to release several dozen
photos depicting the torture and abuse of prisoners in CIA and military
jails overseas. Last month, the Justice Department chose not to
challenge an American Civil Liberties Union lawsuit seeking the photos’
release. But on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said
the administration has “great concern” about the photos and declined to
say whether they’ll be kept under wraps.
