Obama Signs War Funding Bill
----------------------------



President Obama has signed a $106 billion emergency spending bill to
expand the war in Afghanistan and to continue the war in Iraq. Congress
passed the measure last week with the support of several Democrats who
had previously cast antiwar votes. The measure also includes $420
million for the Mexican government to fight drug cartels, as well as
increased funding for the International Monetary Fund.
