Supreme Court Upholds Voting Rights Act

The Supreme Court handed down several closely watched decisions on
Monday. The Court upheld a key provision of the Voting Rights Act, but
the Court declined to rule on the constitutionality of part of the law
which sought to protect minorities in states with a history of racial
discrimination.
