Report: Anti-Gay Killings Jump 28 Percent in 2008

Meanwhile, a new report from the National Coalition of Anti-Violence
Programs has found that the number of lesbian, gay, bisexual and
transgender people killed in bias-motivated attacks increased by 28
percent last year. The group documented twenty-nine killings in 2008,
the highest number recorded since 1999.
