Nobel Laureates Call for Release of Iranian Prisoners

In other Iran news, a group of Nobel laureates are urging the Iranian
government to release all prisoners jailed in the protests against last
month’s disputed presidential elections. In a letter to UN Secretary
General Ban ki-Moon, the laureates call for international pressure to
ensure the prisoners’ freedom. Signatories include 
the South African archbishop Desmond Tutu and former South Korean
President Kim Dae-jung.
