100 Killed in Fighting in Nigeria

In news from Africa, at least 100 people have died in Nigeria in two
days of clashes between Muslim fighters and government forces. Security
forces in Nigeria have been placed on high alert, and armed police are
patrolling the streets of Kano, northern Nigeria’s largest town.
