Admin Shuns Request to Disclose Health Exec Visits

The Obama administration has rejected a request to disclose details of
recent meetings with health industry executives. The group Citizens for
Responsibility and Ethics in Washington has asked the Secret Service to
provide a list of eighteen industry executives who have visited the
White House. But in a continuation of Bush administration policy, the
Obama administration says those records are private and won’t be
revealed. Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington says it
plans to sue the administration for the records’ release.
