Leading Chechen Human Rights Activist Abducted, Slain

In Chechnya, a prominent human rights activist has been found dead.
Natalya Estemirova’s body was discovered Wednesday just hours after she
was kidnapped from her home. Estemirova was considered a leading voice
for victims of Russian and Chechen forces.
