Gillibrand Picked to Fill Vacant NY Senate Seat

And here in New York, Governor David Paterson has picked Democratic
Congress member Kirsten Gillibrand to fill the Senate seat vacated by
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Gillibrand’s selection comes one day
after Caroline Kennedy withdrew herself from consideration.
