Holder Vote Delayed Following GOP Opposition

Meanwhile, Obama’s pick for attorney general, Eric Holder, is facing
increasing Republican opposition. On Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary
Committee delayed a vote on approving Holder after Republicans voiced
concerns he would prosecute intelligence officials involved in torture.
At his confirmation hearing last week, Holder said he believes
waterboarding is a form of torture.
