Israel Admits Error in Bombing of UN School

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reports a preliminary investigation into
Israel’s bombing of a United Nations school last week has revealed that
Israeli troops missed their target by some thirty-three yards. Forty-two
Palestinians died in the school bombing. Israel now admits no militants
were launching rockets from the UN compound. Israeli forces were trying
to hit a target just outside the school.
