Al Gore: Green Agenda Needed for Global Economic Crisis

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, former vice president
Al Gore urged governments to focus on a green agenda as they attempt to
turn around the global economic crisis.

Al Gore: “Well, I think the solutions to the climate crisis are the same
solutions we need for the economic crisis: to have a green stimulus, put
people to work building the new green low-carbon infrastructure, get the
economy moving in a sustainable direction, and put people back to work.”
