UN Worker Kidnapped in Pakistan

In southwestern Pakistan, gunmen have kidnapped an American UN worker
and killed his driver. John Solecki is the regional head of the UN High
Commissioner for Refugees. Later this week, Richard Holbrooke plans to
make his first trip to the region as President Obama’s new envoy for
Afghanistan and Pakistan.
