Immigration Overhaul Introduced in House

Democratic Congress member Luis Gutierrez has unveiled a new immigration
reform bill that would provide a path for immigrant workers to get
documented status. Workers would have to meet several conditions,
including proof of employment, payment of a $500 fine, English fluency
and a criminal background check.
