Over 1,200 Arrested in Weekend Protests

As the protest drew to a close, nearly 1,000 people were arrested when
police cordoned off the tail end of the march. Charges were filed
against thirteen protesters. Amnesty International Denmark has called
for an inquiry into the arrests, saying all but a handful of people were
unfairly targeted. On Sunday, over 200 people were arrested on a second
day of protests.
