US Ambassador Seeks Additional Afghan Funding

Meanwhile, the US ambassador in Kabul is seeking a major funding
increase for non-military operations in Afghanistan. According to the
Washington Post, Ambassador Karl Eikenberry is requesting an additional
$2.5 billion in funding, around 60 percent more than what President
Obama has requested from Congress.
