McChrystal: Taliban Has Gained Upper Hand in Afghanistan

The top commander in Afghanistan has told the Wall Street Journal the
Taliban have gained the upper hand in Afghanistan. As part of a new
strategy, Gen. Stanley Mc Chrystal said the US will increase the number
of troops in heavily populated areas like the southern city of Kandahar.
Mc Chrystal warned that US casualties will remain high for months to
come.
