Iowa Supreme Court Overturns Ban on Same-Sex Marriage

In a unanimous decision, the Iowa Supreme Court has overturned a
ten-year-old ban on same-sex marriage, making Iowa the third state in
the union to legalize same-sex marriage. The ruling takes effect April
24. Meanwhile, Swedish lawmakers voted last week to make Sweden become
the fifth European country to allow same-sex marriages.
