Prominent Afghan Women’s Rights Activist Killed

In Afghanistan, a prominent female lawmaker and women’s rights activist
was shot dead on Sunday. Sitara Achikzai was killed outside her home in
Kandahar by Taliban gunmen on motorbikes.
