Senate Approves $634 Billion Spending Bill

On Capitol Hill, the Senate has approved a $634 billion spending bill.
The legislation includes a $25 billion bailout for the auto industry,
the elimination of a longstanding ban on offshore oil drilling and a
record Pentagon budget totaling nearly half a trillion dollars.
