October 13, 2008 Connecticut Court Rules in Favor of Gay Marriage ------------------------------------------------ Connecticut’s Supreme Court has ruled that homosexuals have a constitutional right to marry. In a four-to-three decision, the court struck down the state’s civil-union law, comparing it to Jim Crow era laws that “relegated blacks to separate but supposedly equal public facilities."
