Connecticut Court Rules in Favor of Gay Marriage

Connecticut’s Supreme Court has ruled that homosexuals have a
constitutional right to marry. In a four-to-three decision, the court
struck down the state’s civil-union law, comparing it to Jim Crow era
laws that “relegated blacks to separate but supposedly equal public
facilities." Connecticut is now set to become the third state behind
Massachusetts and California to legalize gay marriage.
