Gov’t Targeted Muslims Ahead of 2004 Election

The New York Times has revealed the Department of Homeland Security used
racial profiling as part of an anti-terrorism program four year ago.
More than 2,000 Muslim immigrants were investigated or interrogated in
the lead-up to the 2004 election. Newly disclosed government data shows
that most were found to have done nothing wrong.
