Rights Group: Israel’s West Bank System Like Apartheid

Meanwhile, Israel’s leading civil rights organization, the Association
for Civil Rights in Israel, has broken a taboo by describing Israeli
policies in the occupied West Bank as being “reminiscent of the
Apartheid regime in South Africa.” A spokesperson for the group said the
organization decided to drop its previous reluctance to use the South
Africa comparison because things are getting worse in the Occupied
Territories.
