Linguist Carol Chomsky, 78, Dies

And the linguist Carol Chomsky has died at the age of seventy-eight. For
years she taught at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education and wrote
oft-cited articles about how young children learn to read. She was
married to Noam Chomsky.
