It does this by tracking the relationships of defined paths, the e-mail addresses for the "TO" and "CC" sections of the message for each path. Highlights * Runs under Windows NT 3.51, 4.00 beta 2. Not tested with Windows 95. * Searches not only the path specified, but all subdirectories under that path. * Does not report open files until they have been closed. * Zip files can optionally be tested for integrity and/or have their contents displayed in the e-mail. This function requires that the user has a copy of the DOS PKUNZIP.EXE application either in their PATH or active directory. * The system sends mail using SMTP. This means that the e-mail it sends could either be received by someone internally or sent half-way around the world. Like regular SMTP client software, it does require that you have access to an SMTP host. * The program can send out warnings when directories get over a defined size. * The system can send out a warning when a drive gets under a certain size. * Periodic usage reports that display all of the contents in the identified paths. * The system has a built in scheduler to run on an interval based on a user defined number of seconds, or the application can be run on demand. * Can scan any drive that can be mounted to NT as a regular DOS/ Windows style drive. Who will benefit most? * FTP server operators running a FTP host under NT. * Any admin who needs to track a lot of incoming files. Where can it be downloaded from? * WWW: http://www.execpc.com/~il Latest version? v1.02, ifms102.zip If you have any questions, or comments, please contact us at: email: il@execpc.com or George Spafford Interlink Publishing 1301 Harrison Avenue Saint Joseph, MI 49085 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Windows NT .announce moderator: Oliver Uhrig Send all submissions to: nt-announce@metrics.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ .
