This problem will disappear when most viewers are contained within the main module. o gopher gateway: currently only text-/image documents and Gopher-Search are supported (sound, ... will follow) o WWW gateway: Due to limitations in the text viewer, inline images are currently not displayed. Forms are not supported. o WAIS gateway: does still not work correctly (fix scheduled for Nov. '94) o PC/TCP 2.2: MultiMedia documents cause a crash with this version, but PC/TCP 2.3x works perfectly Note: The hostname of your PC must be listed in the TCP/IP host file (Otherwise the document cache server can't connect to the PC !) This also enables you to use Amadeus WITHOUT a Hyper-G server (if there is no one yet available in the near surrounding), although you won't be able to use all the impressive features Hyper-G would support.
