To print to disk from Alphawrite without getting lots of control chars (e.g. before further processing or exporting a document to PC systems): Install DUMP.PDV in dsk0:1,6 Amend WRITE.INI or PRTDEF.INI (whichever you use) to include an extra line with DUMP as the printer driver for an existing printer. Print to this printer, answering "Y" to "Disk Output Only". The .LST file won't have margins or control characters (even tabs have been excluded because they cause problems to lots of other systems). If you want to bring back some of the disabled features then some sort of cross between DUMP.M68 and Alpha Micro supplied MISC.M68 (from which DUMP was derived) would be required. Depending on the requirements, satisfactory results can often be required simply by using MISC.PDV. .
