              _~ Receiving Files Over Telecommunications Links ~_


The ~FRCV~ program is used to receive files transmitted over a physical link 
by the ~FSEND~ command.  ~FRCV~ has two command formats as follows:

                          ) ~frcv terminal~
                          ) ~frcv~

The first format is used when the remote computer is sending a file to ~your~
computer.  ~terminal~ is the name of the terminal which has been defined as
the modem terminal (the port where the data will be coming FROM).

The second format of the command is used when you wish to send a file to a
~remote~ computer.  You would log into the remote computer and type the
~FRCV~ command.  ~FRCV~ then assumes that all files which are sent to it are
to be placed in the account that you are logged into on the remote system.
