I played the first in college, never beat it, then played 2 but not 3 or Code Veronica. 4, 5, 6 I played, but not Operation: Raccoon City. Etc.etc. And while complaints never cease about this beloved franchise, I find the games to be very entertaining. I take them as they are and never compare 5 to 1 or anything. Revelations 2 is fun. Claire's path has been more action-oriented these first few weeks while Barry's is quieter. (No ammo at the end of episode 2 sucked!) And while I'd played Raid Mode before, its version in RE:R2 is just brilliant. There's plenty to do and I'm having a blast. So, why not write a brief unlockable guide? This document will assume you know something about Raid Mode and I'm not here to teach you ANY basics, really. This is just for unlockables. There are some FAQs at the very end, so you might want to start there. Otherwise, please drop me a line if you can fill in the blanks to anything. I'm good at writing FAQs, not quite as good at videogames! Oh....SPOILERS!!! Please don't get angry after finding out hidden secrets when looking at a hidden secrets document! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= II: Characters =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= There is a total of 15 characters in Revelations 2, with two being available at the outset and two are DLC-Only (real-world cash!) The remaining cast is unlocked by obtaining Completion Medallions (see the FAQ in section X if you don't know what they are) or by completing campaign episodes. Good luck!!! For Alex Wesker, you must both beat the main game and complete Raid Mode. Doing the latter requires you to beat the Omega Gauntlet on Very Hard. As detailed above, you will need 450 medallions do unlock this gauntlet. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= IIA: Character Costumes =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= One DLC-only outfit is available for purchase for the four main characters Claire, Barry, Moira and Gina. After episode 4 was released, outfits became available. Fortunately for you there are a TON of stages and gauntlets to appease you. Gauntlets IV and onward require you to own future episodes as well as earning medallions. The tallies are listed below. Gauntlet IX is the Throwback maps that are available as DLC. However, the PS4 version (which I'm playing) is glitched and I cannot test these. However, upon completing Gauntlets on normal, you unlock the toolbox (found next to the weapon bench) where you can combine parts to make higher-level parts. This is integral to keeping your weapons brutal as the game progresses. Each level access allows you to combine parts with higher max levels. Toolbox level 4 will unlock the ability to combine parts levels 7 through 9. There is a lot to do and see and unlock in this game so let's get to it! You can see Raid Mode Records from the main menu or from the bulletin board in the vestibule. With a lot of information, I tried to keep this as easy-to-read as possible. The first column is the record, the second a concise description and the third is your reward. BadtotheBone356 evilbunny123 LeonardoGeesink Neonwarrior1243 ParkerLuciani PremoValentine Stover46 zeaksever And a ton of help from: azureforte -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= =-=-=-=-=-=-= VII: Albums =-=-=-=-=-=-= There is a total of three treasure chests on all non-daily stages. (Four for Code Red missions). The loot you obtain is colored according to rarity/value. The hierarchy of rarity for albums (common to rarest) is as follows: Color Rarity ----- ------ Black 0 Stars Gold 0.5 Stars Green 1 Star Blue 1.5 Stars Red 2 Stars Purple 2.5 Stars Rainbow 3 Stars The loot you get from these chests will be either a Weapon (section VIII below) or a Part (section IX below it!) The rarity of the item you receive is coded by color according to the chart above. The lower on the list, the higher the stars and the rarer the item. The only suggestion I have is to sell off any lower-level weapons you unlock and to evaluate the rest. Evaluation costs are relatively low and worst case you can sell off the loot. Alternately, you'll want a lot of parts later on when you want to combine them for higher-level parts. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= VIII: Weapons =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= I may eventually do a full detail of all weapons but for now here is just a list. In order to unlock the Weapon Wizard Raid Record, you will need one of each of the weapons. You can do this by owning each weapon at any point. You do not need to own them all at once. Guns fall into six categories and you'll need all 24 to get Weapon Wizard. The number in parentheses indicates how many weapons in each category. Weapon Type: Name Alternate Name ----------- ---- -------------- Handguns MPM Liberator P10 Coffin Nail Samurai Edge Bushido Triple Shot Trident Shotguns M147S Gravedigger TAP194 CDecimator Hydra Cerberus Drake Lindwurm Machine Pistols MP-AB50 Banshee MP-AB50G Firebolt Chicago Typewriter Godfather MP-AF Goldfish Assault Rifles AK-7 ??? It doesn't matter the level and I believe you just need to have owned it once (rather than having all at one time). My current count is 41. This seems to be a complete list but this may be missing something. If I am, please let me know! Some of these are common while others take some time to find. Column 2 indicates the Max Level that part can be upgraded to. Not all parts fit all weapons. Most do. See (*) below for more information.
