------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ZSNES/PAR codes for Sky Blazer Engineered by flamingspinach – http://genesisreality.dyndns.org/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This file is adapted from a readme for a .CHT submission to Zophar’s Domain (http://www.zophar.net/). Since Sky Blazer is not an overly complicated game, I think I’ve created all possible useful codes for it. So this is pretty much a near-final version. (The only reason it’s not final is because I could maybe tweak some of the codes...) All these codes have been engineered by me, flamingspinach, and are not supported by the makers of the game (namely, Sony and Imagesoft). I’m following GameFAQs (http://www.gamefaqs.com/) convention in terms of the width of this document (79 characters). --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Code Table (ZSNES/PAR format) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) 7EF80108 INF HEALTH 2) 7E1F0D08 INF SPECIAL 3) 7E1F0E63 DIAMOND = 1UP 4) 7E1F0063 INF LIVES 5) 7E0065FF INVINCIBILITY 6) 7E1F0B01 SPC: NORMAL 7) 7E1F0B02 SPC: COMET FLASH 8) 7E1F0B07 SPC: HEAL 9) 7E1F0B05 SPC: STARFIRE 10) 7E1F0B04 SPC: TIME STOP 11) 7E1F0B03 SPC: LIT. STRIKE 12) 7E1F0B06 SPC: WARRIOR FORCE 13) 7E1F0B08 SPC: FIERY PHOENIX --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Code Descriptions --------------------------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT NOTE: Codes #6-#13 DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT make you constantly use that special attack, it just makes you ABLE to use that attack! Jeez... you would not believe how many people don’t realize that. :) 1) INF HEALTH – Even if you get hurt, your health meter stays at max. I found this by searching for the value of my health meter. Since the maximum health bar at the end of the game is 8, I fixed the current health value at 8 for aesthetic reasons (it would look bad if your health was fixed at 4 when your maximum was 8!) TIP: Turn this off temporarily if you ever fall off a cliff, because the code stops you from dying and starting the level over. So turn it off so you can die in peace. :D If you’re worried about the number of lives you have, just use code #4. Simple. 2) INF SPECIAL – Keeps your Special meter always full, so you can use special attacks (X) indefinitely without refilling it with orange vials. 3) DIAMOND = 1UP – When this code is on, getting any diamond (one of those crystal things enemies leave behind), no matter how big it is, will cause you to get an extra life (or “1UP”). I did this by fixing the current number of diamonds at 99. 100 diamonds will get you a 1UP. Since you always have 99 diamonds, each diamond you get will push you to 100, get you a life, and then take you back up to 99 diamonds! Cool, no? Kinda pointless with the next code on though, but it still looks cool to get so many 1UPs. :) 4) INF LIVES – You always have 99 lives. I did this by fixing the number of lives at 99. Of course. 5) INVINCIBILITY – You act like you’re flashing after getting hit, except you don’t actually flash. This means you can walk through enemies, walk on top of spikes, wade through lava (!), and other cool stuff. However, falling into a pit is still dangerous. 6) SPC: NORMAL – This fixes your special attack selector on your basic special attack (the one with a symbol like a crescent moon). Pretty much useless, since you have this ability from the beginning of the game, but I included it because I didn’t want to omit the code for one of the special abilities while including the codes for the others. I found it by searching for values that changed when I switched special attacks. 7) SPC: COMET FLASH – Just like #6, except it’s for “Comet Flash” (the one where you dash left or right in a straight line. This works even if you haven’t gotten “Comet Flash” yet. However, you won’t be able to use “Comet Flash” with the code off unless you actually got the ability. 8) SPC: HEAL – Same as #7 except it’s for “Heal” (the one where you flash once and heal yourself). 9) SPC: STARFIRE – Same as #7 except it’s for “Starfire” (the one where you shoot darts in 8 directions). 10) SPC: TIME STOP – Same as #7 except it’s for “Time Stop” (the one where you paralyze monsters for about 3 seconds). 11) SPC: LIT. STRIKE – Same as #7 except it’s for “Lightning Strike” (the one where bolts of lightning come down on you and nearby enemies). 12) SPC: WARRIOR FORCE – Same as #7 except it’s for “Warrior Force” (the one where you’re surrounded by a golden glow for a little while and become impervious to attack). 13) SPC: FIERY PHOENIX – Same as #7 except it’s for “Fiery Phoenix” (the one where you turn into a phoenix and can fly around, and any enemy you touch is damaged). --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Codes Planned for Later Updates --------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Working on replacements for codes #6-#13. The replacements would cause you to KNOW the attacks instead of having the selector stuck on them. That way you could leave all the codes on and use the L and R buttons to select what attack you wanted instead of switching codes. - Maybe codes to keep you constantly in a state of Warrior Force or Fiery Phoenix... it would be hard though. - A code for constant Lightning Strikes, but which still let you move around (this has got to be impossible with the current ZSNES cheat system... can’t wait till they implement a full debugger...) I won’t do it.
