If any e-mail is sent to BoredGamerAdvanc@cs.com that does not concern a FAQ, it will be deleted/ignored, as I primarily use this address for FAQ-related stuff. Another new note: DO NOT put my name in your address book. I'm not doing this to be mean, and I extend my full apology to those of you who know how to take care of your computer who have had my name in their books. The person you can blame is whoever it is that just will not get rid of their klez problems (as well as other e-mail viruses). I'm sick and tired of opening my e-mail and seeing more than a dozen messages from MAILER DAEMON saying that e-mail I set was not accepted, especially when it was to somebody I've never sent mail to in my life; or when I get mail from newsletters I've never signed up for. If you are reading this and know you're responsible, PLEASE GET SOMETHING TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR VIRUSES. I don't mean to come off as sounding mean, but it's seriously irritating the bejesus out of me. After the Monster Rancher 3 FAQ, I'm going to say this. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. I know that not everyone is instantly going to listen to this, but if you wish to flame me for something on a FAQ, please don't even bother e-mailing because you will be instantly ignored and added straight to my e-mails' blocking lists, so that you can never e-mail me with that address again. Also with the last one, if you feel the need to falsely accuse me of plagiarism, please only do so if you are the author of the item that you felt was plagiarized. If you are not, you will be instantly ignored. Please stop sending me files. I will not download them unless they are someone I know, and by this I mean someone I know -personally- like family or best friends. I have suspected that some files that have been sent to me are viruses (with good justification after being persecuted) and did not download them. This also means not to send me FAQs or any other material to critique. INFO INVOLVING PUTTING MY NAME IN ADDRESS BOOKS: It has come to my attention recently that some of you out there have been putting my name in your address books. This is all fine and dandy by me. However, one, maybe more, amonst you have contracted the Klez virus (or something similar). I know this because I'm constantly getting e-mails sent back to me by MAILER-DAEMON and the like that certain e-mails that I didn't personally send are not going through because they have viruses in them. This is usually how viruses like Klez operate; they get into your address book, find a name, and begin sending e-mails using that name. I will say this loud and clear... CLEAN YOUR SYSTEMS!!! Download FixKlez or AVG Virus Scanner Free Edition. They're free, much emphasis on FREE, which means costs you nothing but time and hard drive space. You can probably find them on Download.com, if not do a Google search for them. This FAQ is technically complete. While the important information is all gathered, there are corrections that can be made. _________________________________________________________ UPDATE HISTORY 10/25/01- Just got the top of the page added. Moving quite slowly on this. I mainly want to take my time on putting this game together. 11/1/01- After a long, lazy break, I've finally decided to put the main layout of this together. Legal Bit is going. Got some passwords up, too. Walkthrough only spans the first level. 11/5/01- Got the walkthrough through the first boss. 11/13/01- This'll probably be the last update for a while, especially since I'll be spending more of my time tutoring, preparing my presentations for my classes, and putting together my psychology paper. Added Comet Flash to the moves section. Walkthrough now covers through the Cliffs of Peril. 11/13/01 (Second Update)- Got through about half of Towers of Tarolisk. I'm quite weary right now and I'd like to post my FAQ progress right now on the FAQ contributors board and get to bed soon. It's been a rough day for me, even though I haven't done much. 11/24/01- Thanks to a snow storm, I can't go out on Saturday night as I had planned. Feh, Nature hates me, I swear. Section 4A complete. New password added. Changed the name "Attacks" to "Spells" for Section 3. Added Aura Attack and Heal to the spells. 11/25/01- Added some more passwords and some questions to the FAQ. Section 1 complete. 11/26/01- Haven't had much of a chance to do updates. I've been tutoring most of the day. Anyway, got a small start on Section 4B. 11/27/01- Got an e-mail from one flaming wolf who gave me some info on the O-shaped lake. 12/6/01- FINALLY! FINALLY GOT A BREAK IN HOMEWORK! I have one more official day of class and two other days for my Psychology and Education finals. Thank God the latter has no true final exam; Just a presentation. Anyway... Added Star Fire to the Spell List. Also added some passwords. Expect more updates to come possibly as soon as later today or next Wednesday. 12/10/01- Yeah, this is a bit earlier than expected. I did my psychology final today and I think I did pretty well. Added Time Stop to the Spell section. Got some new passwords in the password section. Walkthrough covers all of the Lair of Kharyon and Sand Rivers of Shinol. 12/10/01- (Update 2) Walkthrough for Gateway of Eternal Storms complete with passwords. 12/11/01- Passwords added. A question also added to the FAQ section. Lightning Strike added to spell list. Walkthrough now covers through Temple Shirol. 12/22/01- Added a password and a new spell to the Spell Section. The walkthrough now covers Mount Shinrol/Caverns of Shinrol. 12/24/01- Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Why say so now? Because I'll most likely be too busy playing whatever video games for I received to do any FAQs for a few days. Heh, I did just get Time Stalkers and Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast as well (both together for about $20), so that means I'm going to be quite busy for some time now. As far as updates go, the Spell and Password sections are complete. I also have the walkthrough through The Great Tower and just before the final level. 12/27/01- Main walkthrough completed and spellchecked. FAQ is complete. 12/27/01 (second update)- Shortly after this guide hit GameFAQs, I was hit with an e-mail. I'm very appreciative to be given some feedback that can better the FAQ. Added alternate methods for Kharyon and Harpy boss battles. Added Lightning Strike to the Spell section. Passwords added. Side quest added. 1/20/02- Made some small corrections. 11/12/02- FAQ-wide update... 2/9/03- New boss strategies added. 8/27/03- FAQ-wide update... Reference credit goes to: flaming wolf for the info on the hut above the O-shaped lake. Another Gamer for adding some stuff I missed. Thanks a lot! mcmillen for the alternate boss strategies. Long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... Okay, so it's a cliche and over done intro! Sue me! Anyway, maybe not too long ago. Who knows how long? In a place that might not be too far away, or further away than we think. The point is, it's another world. Not "another dimension" (curse you, Saban!), but another world. Yes, a world full of beauty, wonder, bunnies, kitties, puppies... And a huge, nasty demon named Raglan who has a plan to... TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!! [sinister laugh] Raglan has been imprisoned for many years in the underworld. There, he enjoys only the best meals and comfort that Hell can afford. His life down there is missing that one spark that all life needs. That one overwhelming force that brings a twinkle to his eye. World domination, the suffering of humanity, a world engulfed in flames... It's all enough to bring a tear of joy rolling down his face. He has now formulated a plan to take over the world. He has called his old buddy/servant Ashura. Ready to do the master's bidding, Ashura gathers up his best and most monstrous warriors and preps them for world conquest. Factored into the plan was a small piece that required capturing a certain sorceress. Ashura has now found her and is preparing to claim her for his. This action did not go unheard. The son of the Sky-lord has risen the occasion. His name is... oddly enough... Sky! Sky battles his way through the sorceress's fortress to get to Ashura all to late. He has the sorceress in his hands and reveals his plan. The sacrifice of the young sorceress will bring about Raglan and give him reign over the world. After being beaten by Ashura, Sky is resurrected by a strange, old man who gives him the news that he is to be the one who must fight to bring down Ashura before he has the chance to raise Raglan or the world may very well be doomed. First, though, Sky must become strong enough to defeat Ashura as now he surely isn't. With his new sense of duty on his shoulders, Sky steps up to the plate and decides to have a crack at Ashura and his minions. Powered with only his faithful Aura Shot, Sky plans to power up a bit (which means adding more attacks and skills to his arsenal) and get ready to take on whatever may be thrown in front of him. 1B: LAY OF THE GAME There are two screens you will see the most. The one that you will see more than the other is the basic gameplay screen. The game plays like a usual, horizontal-based side scroller. You move left to right, or in some cases, up to down. Placed throughout each level is a pack of enemies that wish to thwart your attempts to getting one step closer to Ashura. Using your basic fighting skills (which consist of punching and kicking) or your elite powers (see Section 3), you can take out these vile creatures before they have a chance to knock you down, tear off your flesh, and partake of roast Sky. The other screen is the world map. In this, you can select the next level you wish to play. Until after the second boss, you will be bound into a linear set, but eventually you can choose your own path. On the map, you will see a small hut. This is where the old man lives. Enter these to get some extra info and passwords. -Controls- D-Pad Left/Right- Move Sky. D-Pad Down- Crouch, move Sky down in Bonus Game, climb down. D-Pad Up- Move Sky up in Bonus game, climb up. A- Enter previously completed area or hut in map screen B- Jump Y- Attack X- Use spell R/L- Change spell Start- Pause game Select- No use -Character Breakdown- Sky- The main character Sorceress- The woman you must save Raglan- The villain; A demon who seeks to take over the world Ashura- Raglan's right-hand man Old Man- The old man that helps you out ------------------ / SECTION 2: ITEMS \ ---------------------- Diamonds- There are two types of diamonds in this game: Small and Large. Small ones add 1 diamond to your stash where large ones add 10 to your stash. What good are diamonds? Collect 100 of these to get a 1-Up. Sort of like the coins in Super Mario Bros. Life Restorer (small)- Little green vials that you see after killing an enemy. Restores 1 life point. Life Restorer (large)- Refills your life by quite a bit. Magic Restorer (small)- Looks like a life restorer, only red. Restores 1 magic point. Magic Restorer (large)- Refills your magic quite a bit. 1-Up- Gives you an extra life. ------------------- / SECTION 3: Spells \ ----------------------- Seems a bit RPG-ish, sure. You get spells in this game that come quite handy when need be. Aura Attack- This is the spell you start with. This will fire a moderately powerful blast at your enemy. It's nice if you want to try to reach an enemy at a longer range, but nothing that'll save your life later in the game. Comet Flash- Causes Sky to fly in a straight line. Good for getting across large holes and gaps that cannot be easily jumped across. Heal- A spell that has the ability to restore a bit of life. Use sparingly. You just might need it. Lightning Strike- Hits all targets on the screen with a lightning blast. Star Fire- Attack that blasts outward in nine directions. Time Stop- Freezes all enemies on the screen. Can actually work on one boss in the game. Warrior Force- Temporarily makes you invincible and doubles your strength. Fiery Phoenix- Breaks down Ashura's impenetrable defense. ------------------------ / SECTION 4: WALKTHROUGH \ ---------------------------- Note that boss names are guessed and not technical. 1A: BEGINNING [Spans first level to ] You'll instantly start out in a level. The name is not quite given, but anyway, advance right. Climb the wall and head right. There should be a clothed enemy with claws just a bit to the right. Kill it and grab what it leaves, then continue right, down the steps. Two more clothed villains should appear. Kill them and jump across the spikes to the other side and cling to the wall. Grab the giant diamond and climb the wall. Now, continue right. Another clothed monster appears, followed by an eyeball monster which lets its young loose on you. Kill any young that come at you and finish off the eyeball with one or two, firm attack. Now, jump onto the wall above and to the right and grab the large diamond. Drop down and head right. Kill the next clothed enemy and the eye monster after him. Go right and jump onto the platform above and walk across it, killing any clothed creatures along the way. Now drop down. If you need any magic, then lightly jump across the hole on the left and cling to the left wall. Climb over it and climb down as well to grab a magic restorer. Jump back up to the platform above and head right. Jump over the spikes to the block in the air. Jump from that block over to the next floor and kill the eye creature. Now, climb up the walls and grab the diamond. Press on right some more. After you've killed the clothed creature, walk right into the doorway. A little plot revelation here. You'll meet Ashura for the first time. Ashura has the sorceress! He'll also attack you, forcing you into more plot revelation. You'll meet an old man. This is the place at which you can obtain passwords! Be sure to get one and write it down. After you leave the hut, push up and Sky will go to the next stage... -FALTINE'S WOODS- This is a pretty straight-forward level. As you run right (the basic direction of the level), you will come to a tree with a creature in it (it's an eye creature with what appears to be red leaves around it). Jump up to kill it if you wish. Something you should know before starting this level is that you can climb the trees by constantly jumping through the leaves. When you jump into a tuft of leaves, Sky will slowly sink (somewhat like quicksand in other games) and you can pull yourself up by constantly jumping. Anyway... Climbing the first tree really isn't important, but the second tree... The second tree has a plant monster in it. Kill the creature and jump from that tree to a platform that falls over to another tree. Kill the monsters in that tree and grab the diamonds around the tree. Jump over the next row of thorns and you will come to a leafless tree with a flying creature going up and down. Kill the creature and grab the life restorer. Jump to the top bough and then to the next tree. Kill any creatures you come into contact with and grab the diamond. Keep heading right and jump into the next tree, killing enemies as they come as usual. This tree is divided into two tufts of leaves. Jumping up to the top tuft can take you to another diamond for you to add to your collection. The next tree over is the same story, only with a more rewarding prize at the top. Jump to the top tuft there and grab the 1 Up for an extra life. Jump to the platform and make a large jump right. There is nothing really below the platform, just a small tree with nothing in it. After that is another divided tree. The top tuft can take you to another diamond and a magic restorer to the right. Somewhere below the magic restorer is a diamond floating over a pit. This one is a bit tricky to grab. Fall just a bit off the edge then push left to cling to the edge of the pit. Jump outward, then back to land to grab the diamond. Continue right from there until you make it to the end of the level. On the world map, head to the next stage. -TEMPLE INFERNUS- Run forward and kill the flame creatures as you come to them. Continue heading right. You should eventually come to a purple monster. Kill that as well. I found jump-kicking it from the lower floor a couple times does good to avoid its attack. Heading right a bit more, you should come to a flame pit with a small fireball jumping out of the pit. Jump to the platform first, then wait for the fireball to fall back into the flame pit and jump over that area. Do not land directly on the next piece of land unless you can't help it. Try to cling to the wall where the magic restorer is. When the purple monster approaches, jump outward and towards him, initiating a kick and then try to fall back onto the wall. Only do this when the fireball isn't present. This can be a bit difficult, so only try it if you have the ability. Otherwise, just outright kill the purple creature and grab the magic restorer if you need it. Continue right. Jump over the next, small fire pit and kill the flame creature. There will be another larger fire pit beyond that. Jump when the fireball there goes back into the flames and cling to the wall, then climb up and walk into the next screen. [This just in: I discovered after writing this whole section that you can indeed defeat the flame creatures that jump out of the fire] Still heading steadily right. There will be a flame pit from the git-go. Wait for the fireball to fall into the flames and jump to the platform, then to the next part of the floor and kill the flame. Grab the diamond and kill the next flame creature over (in either order fate permits). Now, there will be a flame pit with a moving block and a purple monster running around in the flames. Don't worry too much about the monster. Wait for the block to come as close as it can and then jump. Hopefully, you can time your jump right enough to cling to the block or jump on top of it. Get past the monster and jump to the little piece of floor right after the fire pit. You can use the next block that's coming over to jump to the wall above and grab the magic restorer. Whether you did so or not, you will need to use this block to progress, so jump on it. Avoid or kill the next purple monster that appears, then get onto the next moving block. From there, go to the next screen. There will be a strange balloon-like creature coming at you. It acts as a bomb. When you hit it, it will start to flash. This means it will explode and it should give you ample time to get away from it. Kill it and advance right. Jump over the fire pit onto the pillar sticking out of the floor, and then to the platform floating above another fire pit. If you want to be dangerous, carefully drop down and grab the diamond against the wall. Now, jump back up to the platform and wait for the moving block. Jump on it and ride it to the very edge of the screen. You can go around this, but you will miss a diamond and a 1 Up if you do. Grab the diamond and do your best to avoid the wheel monsters. Get on top of the floating structure of bricks and there should be a platform above it. Jump on the platform to the 1 Up above. Drop from there and make your way to the fire pit on the left. Stand on the regular floor and wait for the moving block to appear. Jump on it and be prepared to duck as the next wheel monster comes by. Jump left onto the huge steps. Around this area will be a lot more wheel monsters. Dodge them as best as you can. From the large steps (which don't go too far), jump to the pair of steps on the right side, staying clear of the wheel creatures still. On the way up, grab the life restorer if you need it. Climb all the way up and kill the bomb. Another wheel monster might come at you from above. Dodge him and go into the next screen. Are we there yet? No! When I was your age, we never got there and we were thankful! Anyway, take out the purple monster you see immediately and head right. While heading right, grab the diamond above and kill any enemies you come into contact with. You should come to a fire pit with a fireball jumping out and a platform. Stay clear of the fireball and jump on the moving platform to get across. Jump right and kill the flame. There will be another situation like just a second ago with a fireball and a platform. Do the same here, only you will have to avoid two fireballs. Now, through the door. Finally, the end of the stage! Well, not quite. There is a certain someone in your way... BOSS IFRIT Difficulty Rating: Fairly Easy One thing this game loves to do is prompt you to develop effective strategies as far as defeating bosses. This boss is no exception just because he's the first. This might take a bit of practice, but I've found it pretty effective. You can develop your own strategy, too. This is not the only way to beat him. Climb up the wall about half way. When Ifrit lets his fireballs loose, start heading down slowly and as they begin to pass overhead, jump down quickly (only tap jump) and run up to the lamp and attack it much as you can or use your basic magic attack. When the lamp stops, it's time to use judgment. If it's not too close to the wall you originally used, then jump back onto that wall and use the same strategy. If he's gotten quite close to the wall, jump over the lamp and use the opposite wall. Another strategy I found was this. When Ifrit's body is out of the lamp and he puts his arms up, jump to throw his aim off, then run forward and unleash upon the lamp when time permits. Also keep in mind that you can destroy his shots as well my attacking them. Once he's defeated, you can move on to the next level. You will also learn the helpful Comet Flash. When you're done, head to the next stage. -CLIFFS OF PERIL- This is the first of few flying scenes you will have to do in this game. They're pretty straight forward like most of the levels so far. To hover upward, hold the jump button. By attacking, you can shoot a fireball. Do not fall too far out of the screen or you will die. You'll head forward (the flying levels auto-scroll, as you can see) and encounter a flying creature. Knock it out of the sky and keep going. You'll begin heading downward. Kill any flying creatures on the way and grab the big diamond that will appear on the far right. Keep heading down some more and there will be more flying creatures and there should be another big diamond, this time towards the center, and another one just below it. Grab them and keep going. Soon enough, you'll be heading right again. At this point, you should be seeing some beast riders. Kill them as quickly as possible and any other flying creatures (there should be two of those small, green ones near the first rider) and continue. Battle your way past all the riders and flying creatures and you should come to a plant creature on a ledge. Get past that by clever dodging or, more efficiently, outright killing them. Grab the life restorer just after the plant and continue. After the next plant (with a diamond near it) should be a huge line of little, green fliers. Blast past them any way you can. After them, you'll be encountering many more plants, some that even walk. Simply kill them before they have the chance to shoot any projectile. Never give the plants a chance to use projectile, especially in more crowded areas. Now, you should start heading upward (still heading right as well). Around this area should be a lot of riders, flying creatures, and plants. Eventually, you should see a small formation of land appear. Try to get under this because it will lead you to a 1-Up. Sometime after the 1-Up will be lots of flying monsters and a few plants on some staircase-like ledges. Continue dodging/killing to the best of your ability. Eventually, you should come to a place where you can actually touch the ground again. You are nearing the end. When the screen stops scrolling, go through the screen on the right and head to the next level. -TOWERS OF TAROLISK- You'll start out on a platform on the side of a tower. Head right, jumping along all the platforms, from platform to platform. Finally, you should reach a door. Go through the door. You'll be in a room with spikes, some diamonds, and a 1-Up. Grab the closest diamond to you, then jump up and grab the diamond above the doorway. Make sure you have the Comet Flash attack ready. Now, jump out over the spikes and use Comet Flash at the top of your jump and cling to the small ledge where the 1-Up is. Grab the 1-Up, then fall straight down. When you are lined up with the last two diamonds over the spikes, use Comet Flash again to grab both diamonds and land on the left side of the room. Exit and you will be back outside. Jump right and wait for the moving, purple platform to come to you and jump on it when the spikes are down and quickly to the next door. Do not let the enemy here hit you with lightning. It can be fatal. Grab all the diamonds across the room and cling to the right wall, then climb up and Comet Flash at the enemy, grabbing the magic restorer on the way and killing the enemy. Now leave the room. Back outside, wait for the moving platform on the left again (the one you used to get to the doorway you're at now) and jump on it when it's safe. Jump to the platform just above the doorway you were just at and wait for the platform moving side to side and then jump on it. From there, jump to the platform above. Wait for the next moving platform and jump from that to the next doorway. Do not enter just yet, though. If you want a little extra to do, jump left onto a lone platform, then to another doorway just below that and to the left. This room will have a bunch of spikes and moving platforms everywhere. Jump to the lowest platform carefully and grab as many of the diamonds as you can, hopefully grabbing all. Then, jump to the higher one and grab the magic restorer. Don't stand too far to the left of the top platform or you will be pushed into the spikes on the wall. Now, carefully drop from the top to the floor on the left and out the door. Head right again and back to the doorway at the top of the tower and through it. When you enter, there will be a floor above you with a robed monster and one of those eye creatures. Climb the right wall and Comet Flash towards them to take them both out. Now, head left and climb the left wall. The robed creatures here shouldn't be too much, so only use Comet Flash if you're feeling a little insecure. If not, then just jump and use some basic attacks to take them out. Now, climb up the right wall and jump onto the floor on the upper left. Kill the robed creature and the eyeball after him. Watch out for the smaller eyes let loose by the bigger one. Now, there should be a moving stone above you and some spikes on the left wall. Either cling onto the stone while it's heading right or cling onto the ledge on the right, then make your way on top of the stone. Jump up and cling to the ledge sticking out from the left. There will be yet another stone moving just above that. Avoid this one and get to the next ledge. Jump around and try to kill the robed monster to give yourself a little room to work with. The stone here can be a bit of a bother. Quickly jump from that ledge and try to kill the eyeball when it's not launching one of its young at you. If its young is flying at you, try either using Comet Flash or a kick to take it out. Kill the eyeball and jump onto the right ledge and through the door into the next area. This little are can be made quite simple if you have enough magic. Just use Comet Flash to burst through the wyverns as they are coming at you. Watch out for those platforms, because they fall. Try to get to the door on the far right and go through it. Once inside, climb the left wall and grab the magic restorer, then Comet Flash out the screen on the right at the very top. From the ledge you start on, begin heading right. There is a platform to the left as well, but it doesn't seem to lead to anywhere important. Head right until you come to a strange, golden platform with a red jewel in the middle. Jump onto it and the jewel will turn turqoise. This will activate the bricks to pop out of the tower at different intervals (a la Mega Man). Continue left from the golden platform and through the door. Once inside, grab the diamond laying there in front of you and climb up to grab the other one as well. Watch out for the goat creature's lightning bolts. One hit from those is enough to kill you. Run around the bolts and make your way to the goat. Deliver all the attacks you can to finish it off and continue right. Drop down and grab the two diamonds below, then climb up the right wall, but beware the bolts that the goat demon sends down. Tap the jump button just far enough to grab the 1-Up, then you can either attempt to kill the goat monster or just leave. After leaving this room (assuming you went inside), you will have to reactivate the bricks. There is two spots you can try to do this next part from, and I recommend the latter. You can either start from the golden platform or start from the doorway to the left of the golden platform. Starting from the doorway, you will get a slightly bigger lead than you would from the golden ledge, but you will also have to time your jump just perfectly. You will need to be quick heading right up these things. One part you should keep in mind that helped me a bit speed-wise was that there was a couple bricks that are lined horizontally rather than diagonally like the others. I usually skip over the one that appears on the right and go straight to the next block. From there, you should come to some solid, stone ledges. Jump onto those and then wait for the moving platform to come close enough when the spikes are down. Jump on that platform to the next stone ledge, and then through the door. Ah, the sinister moving wall. First, they treat us to some shades of Mega Man franchise, now they want us to feel as though we're playing Super Mario World. Run forward and grab the diamond in front of you, then jump around to the ledge above when the wall recedes and grab the diamond up there. Wait for the wall to run its course. As it's leaving, cling to it and climb up, the grab the magic restorer and the diamond and wait for the wall to recede again. Kill the eyeball creature and its offspring, grab the diamond above, then wait for the wall to get into a good position. Scale it and grab the magic restorer. Go up further and kill the eyeball and its young. Now, time this next part just right. Jump from your position to the left wall, then to the moving wall immediately. Now, jump to the place where the life restorer is and grab that, then do a little spiffy jumping to get to the opening well above the restorer. There should be a diamond up there for you to grab. Climb up some more after you've gotten around the moving wall and through the screen opening on the left. Now, get ready for the second boss. BOSS BEHOLDER Difficulty Rating: Easy, if you know what you're doing. If not, moderate. I'll break this down into size patterns. With each time you hit the Beholder, he grows slightly. Size 1: Nothing to worry about. When it rolls at you, cling to the left wall and jump over it. Eventually, it will come to a stop at the bottom right. Jump over its projectile and kick it right in the eye. It will grow. Size 2: Same as Size 1, except it will be a bit larger this time. Again, dodge the shot and kick it in the eye (kick by jumping and then attacking). Size 3: This one's where you'll have to be selective on where you jump from. You need to cling to the wall closer to the bottom half of the left wall. The best area I've found to cling at was with Sky's knees just about touching the red bricks under the door thing. From there, jump outward when Beholder gets too close. Now, wait for it, dodge, and attack at the appropriate times. Size 4: Beholder is getting bigger. There is two ways to do this. You will have to be immaculate with your timing if you wish to dodge him via regular jumping off the left wall. You should be in practically the same position as before, but you may have to jump sooner. To save the stress, when Beholder gets close, jump outward, then use a Comet Flash. Now, wait and do your usual dodge-attack routine. Size 5- On: No more jumping for you. To dodge him now, just crouch at the bottom left side of the screen. When it stops, do your usual dodge-attack program and it will succumb to your kicks. Tip from mcmillen: A little trick in the game that's useful in a few spots, but most noticably useful on the boss you call "Beholder": the Aura Attack leaves you invincible for a short bit. When the Beholder finishes rolling and comes to a stop in the lower-right corner of the screen, wait for his projectile. When it's about to hit you, activate the Aura Attack. THe projectile will go right through you, and your aura will hit the beholder. If you come into the room with full magic you can use this technique for every hit. For your efforts, you will gain the spell Heal. Once you're finished with the towers, head to the small hut and enter it. You will get a chance to do a bonus game. BONUS GAME These are quite simplistic. Just guide Sky through the uh... sky... and grab all the diamonds you can. If you are hit by an enemy, the game will end and you will be on the next area. WHOOPIE! 4B: THE TEST You should now be on another continent with some levels scattered around in various areas. In other words, you can pretty much pretty much pick where you want to go next. There is, however, a recommended set of locations you should travel in a particular order so as to gain particular spells that will be very helpful in defeating different bosses. The first location you should head to is just above the hut you start at in this area. So, head in that direction. -PETROLITH CASTLE- This place is pretty icy, so tread carefully here. The first think you'll see is a mini-yeti creature in front of you. Run forward and kill it. It shouldn't be too hard to kill. Jump over the spikes to the right and carefully drop downward. Make sure you land on the small ledge to the left. Grab the huge diamond, then jump across the next set of spikes. Heading left some more, there should be two more yetis, one of which is climbing up a slope. Kill them both and advance. Now comes a slightly tricky part. There will be a piece of floor in between two sets of spikes. Jump over the first set, then quickly and carefully over the second set without sliding in. If you were fast enough to get to the block of ice before the yeti did, then jump on it. Otherwise, kill the yeti first. One way to beat the yeti to the block is to only tap the jump button before jumping over the second pit. If you should happen to jump onto the block without killing the yeti, fear not. The block will kill the yeti for you. Now, ride the block until you come close to the spikes. Quickly jump out and grab the diamond above the spikes. Stay clear of the next couple blocks. Well, maybe not exactly clear of them, but at least be careful when landing because they will try to throw you into the spikes below. Quickly jump off them if you find yourself stuck, then jump to the floor on the left and continue on. You'll be in a new area now. You'll see an ice block and some yetis making their way up the icy slope. Jump on the ice block and ride it down the slope. Try to get past the flying eye by killing it or dodging it as best as you can. Avoid the pit below the spike at all costs. Now, watch out for the small ice blocks here because they too will try to send you in the spikes below. There will be another slope to the right with some blocks on either side of it. Jumping on either block will trigger them to slide down. Be careful if you land on the right block as that will send you into the wall, which is covered in spikes. Drop down to the left of this double-sided slope and grab the diamond. As you approach closer to the bottom, you may notice a yeti walking around. Drop down carefully and kill it. If you need some magic, go left and kill the flying eye creature, then carefully grab the magic by clinging onto the wall that makes up the left half of the pit it is above. Now, begin progression right. After the hole you dropped from should be three yetis. Take them all out or get around them any way you can. You should notice a life restorer in a fairly hard to reach location. To grab it, wait at the ledge for a platform to appear on the nearby belt, jump on the platform and, when you can, cling onto the wall just right of the life restorer. Finally, just climb the wall and get it. Now, wait for the platform to return and you jump onto it. Allow the platform to carry you a ways until you come to the next platform to the right. Careful not to fall off or you'll land on some spikes. Jump onto the platform on the right and wait again. When you're in a proper position, kill the eye creature and then jump upward to grab the diamond above. Now, make your way to the next platform on the right. Kill the eye creature there, grab the diamond yet again, and jump to the next platform over. Same here, only the diamond is a bit further up and can only be reached by the next platform over. Kill the eye creature and wait a bit until you can jump easily onto the next platform (which should have a longer belt than the last few). Ignore the lion creatures a the bottom of the screen unless you happen to fall down there. If you should happen to fall, try to get back onto a platform or make your way to the left wall and climb it. Anyway, jump onto the platform and let it take you upward so you can grab the diamond up there. When you are in proper position, jump over to the floor and walk into the next room. First thing's first. Approach the yeti and kill it. Before jumping over to the blocks floating in the air, drop down and head right. You will encounter a bunch of pits with spikes in them. Just jump over them carefully and when you reach the end, you should come into contact with a 1-Up. On the way back, you may be attacked by some of the lion creatures. Make sure to take initiative on these guys. Do not let them touch you. Attack them before they can reach you. Make your way left a little ways and now start to take the blocks in the air. Jump to the first block and fight the lion (if it's there). Jump to the next platform with four blocks and then inch your way forward so as to call over the next lion. Beat that one up, too, when it gets close enough. Jump to the platform it was on and use the same creeping technique for this lion. Kill it before grabbing the life restorer. Continuing right, creep a little and kill the next lion, then jump at a good enough angle to grab the diamond. From the platforms, jump to the ledge on the far right and into the next room. More shades of Super Mario World. Only this time, it's the ceiling coming down on you. Walk forward a little bit and climb up and over the piece of floor sticking out of the ground. Drop down and crouch to the right of the highest point. There should be a safe haven right there. Wait for the wall to come down around you, then let it ascend. Continue right, but only a little ways. Crouch on the floor just below the one with the slime on it. There should be a safe haven there, too. If you have the chance, kill the slime, but do not move. Let the ceiling come down and then go back up. Of course, be sure you're out of harms way when the thing does come down. After you kill that slime, head right to the next area where you can crouch to get away from the wall and wait for the next slime to get close. When it does, kill it and wait for the ceiling to rise. After allowing the ceiling to rise, head right until you come to a double-wide space in the floor. Duck there until the ceiling does its normal routine, then head right again. Get all the way to the spikes and be careful not to run into them. Now, wait for the ceiling to come down and jump on the side left of the spikes and let it carry you upward. When it reaches the top, jump right to the floor above the spikes then drop down to the area directly right of the spikes and wait for the ceiling to fall again. When it rises again, continue the same way you were going until you come to another slime. You may have to duck here to avoid the spikes that come down at you. So, duck and kill the slime and wait for the ceiling to rise again. After it does, continue on. Head right and you will come to a big space in the floor head as far right in the space as you can and wait for the ceiling to come down and then go back up. After it does, then continue on into the next screen. BOSS EVIL WALL Difficulty Rating: Moderate This can be a rather difficult boss at first. You will first see his face on the wall. You can damage three different parts of him: his two eyes and the strange face on his forehead (his "third eye" so to speak). The only way to get some damage in is to jump and attack. One method I found slightly useful is to jump in the air and at the top of your jump, fire an Aura Attack. This will send a blast in a straight line and damage all three parts if done properly. You can only damage each part once. After a little time, the wall will rotate. Some blocks will appear that you must get around. This will require you to do some really fast action (a la Ninja Gaiden). You will have to jump on the wall and immediately (as in wasting no time) jump up again and through the gap in the blocks. Sometimes, you may not have to do this; A simple jump could be sufficient. After it is done rotating, the face will appear again. Also let it be known that there is one formation that has a gap at the bottom, so you will need to duck. If you should happen to jump when you need to duck, it could very well be your funeral. Another caution I must address is that the creature gets faster as he takes more damage. When you've defeated the Evil Wall, you will gain Star Fire. This attack fires in different directions and is useful for the next boss. Now, time to head to the next level. From here, there are two different paths that I recommend you take, depending on which boss you seem to have the most trouble with. You can either go to the bridge (Falls of Torment) or to the patch of sand (Sand Rivers of Shinol) and then go to the tornado (Storm Fortress of Kh'lar). This really depends on which boss you have more trouble with (either Kharyon or Harpy). My walkthrough will follow assuming you take the Falls for Torment route first. Another Gamer said that it would be easier to head to Storm Fortress of Kh'lar, but the decision is purely yours. -THE FALLS OF TORMENT- Note one thing to start. If you fall in the water, you will be attacked by man-eating fish. Anyway, head right as you would on most any level in this game. Jump onto the log, grabbing the diamond on the way. Be careful of the log. It is rolling and can throw you off. Head right and grab the next diamond and you'll also notice a slime. In this level, I recommend killing the slimes by coming down off a jump and kicking them. That is, jump, come down close enough, and attack before you hit the ground. It can be hard, but standing still too long can be hazardous in this level. At the end of the log should be a diamond for you to grab and a gorgon firing arrows from a stone pillar in the water. You can deflect the arrows with your attack if you need to. Be careful that none hit you. If they do and you're alive, no thang. Just jump to the pillar and kill the gorgon. Past that is another log. Jump onto that and away we go. There should be two slimes on that. Kill them and make your way to the next log over. Kill the one there as well and grab the diamond. Jump over now to the solid ground and grab the diamond. Continue right and destroy the gorgon. Jump right onto the next log and kill the slime. Grab the diamond there and also take out the gorgon. From there, just onto the next piece of solid ground. From here, you must jump into the water. Grab the diamond on the way down and get as fast to the far right as you can. Climb up the wall and out of the water and through the screen to complete the level. Head left into the temple on the island and be ready for the hardest level in the entire game. -LAIR OF KHARYON- Jump into the water and swim downward. Kill the enemies below and make your way up and around the stone wall. Kick the lever there to change the direction of the currents. Swim with the current and flow into the next room. Here, immediately cling to the wall and position yourself just right to kill the bone dragon that's coming at you. Stay clung to the wall and go down. This way, you won't have to go down at the discretion of the current. Get past the enemies at the bottom by killing or dodging. If you did not cling to the wall, one helpful strategies if you don't want to advance to far is to swim against the current and cause yourself to stand still. This way, if you must time a swim to get past a certain enemy, you can do so. After the puffer fish, equip the Aura Attack and float upward. Fire the Aura Attack at the lever to move it. Watch out for the squid and swim with the current into the next room. Swim with the current and be careful of the squids that are coming up. You can kick them when they're directly above you, so keep that in mind. Go straight across to the right when you reach the top and cling to the right wall. This will make it easier to descend so you don't take damage from the squids (that is, if you're careful enough). Head straight down, but when you start going to the left, angle upward and try to get into the center of the structure in the middle of the room. If the puffer fish at the bottom gets in your way, take it out. Get into the middle structure and grab the diamond in there, then go through the door. Now, go with the current again. Kill the puffer fish at the bottom and being to ascend. Watch out for the bone dragon that is coming at you. Hit it twice with a good underwater kick and finish it off. Notice that there is a current flowing up right next to the one you're in. If you wish to go to the previous room, all you have to do is go through that current at the very bottom of it. I actually do recommend going through it once so you can get the 1-Up next to the door. Head through and go back to the previous room with the huge structure in the middle, go back to the door in the structure and you'll be back a the room you left off at. Anyway, once you're back in the proper current and defeat the bone dragon, you'll ebb left. Get close to the structure here and kick the lever to change the flow above. Go through the current above the structure when you can and continue along. You will see another lever, but you won't be able to reach it. Head up to the life and magic restorers and grab any that you need, then jump out and grab the three diamonds. After that, go through the screen into the next room. This is quite a confusing room. First thing to do is go with the current around the huge stone block. When eventually you come to a break in the current, head right and kick the lever. Do not go totally with the current here, but head straight right. As you head further right, a bone dragon will approach you. Kill it and head down. Notice the door below the are the dragon came from. That will take you to a magic restorer if you need one. Now, head down and then hang a right and finish off the puffer fish. Continue right from there and hit the lever. Now, head upward and angle left. There will be another puffer just for you to kill. Head back down past the door and there should be a current straight down that you can now go through that you previously couldn't. Avoid heading left after the current; Go straight down. You should eventually hit a break in the ebb with a turtle cannon on one side and a bone dragon on the other. From here, I'm going to stick some hypothetical situations depending on which route you wish to take. If you want four big diamonds (that will count as 40 toward your diamond count), then GO TO DECISION A. If you don't really want the diamonds, GO TO DECISION B. DECISION A: Okay, heading left. Kill the turtle cannon if you really need to and continue left to grab the diamonds. Now, take the current above you around to the lever on the left and kick it. Go with the current from here and go all the way around the block the lever is on counterclockwise (stay clear of the puffer at the bottom). There should be a current for you to follow just to the right and above the lever. Go through it. Let the current take you all the way up and then head right, but DO NOT KICK the lever. Recognize this? You should have been through it once before already. Head directly right of the lever. Kill the bone dragon again and head down (same routine as before). Kill the puffer fish below, head right and kick the lever, then head up and around the structure above. Kill the puffer fish at the top while heading left, then head straight down until you're back at the decision point from before. Now, GO TO DECISION B. DECISION B: No matter which way you go, you will have to follow this one eventually to pass the level. As you head right, kill the bone dragon. There seems to be a lever you can't quite get to. Equip the Aura Attack and use it on the lever. Go through the current now and you will be carried straight up. At the first chance, head right and around all the structures until you reach a diamond. Grab it and continue. As you begin heading up, you will meet a bunch of squids. Kill them if need be, but try to cling to the wall so as to get around them much easier. Near the top, you will see a magic restorer. DON'T GRAB IT YET! Head around the big stone block and when you see a lever to the left, fire an Aura Attack at it. Now, before heading down, head toward the magic restorer so you have full magic. Before grabbing it, though, wait a little ways off from the bone dragon and let it come to you, then kill it. After all that is done and you have full magic, go through the door and probably one of the hardest bosses in the game awaits... BOSS KHARYON Difficulty Rating: Hard The layout is strange. There will be a huge multi-piece structure in the middle and each piece of the structure (four in all) will have a pod monster on it that lets out an egg that becomes a huge killer fish. There is a somewhat easy way to do this, but figuring it out can be quite hard. I do not recommend doing this the hard way by trying to fight off the killer fish one by one and taking pot shots at the pods at all. It's far too difficult that way. Have the Star Fire equipped and you better be at full magic because this method will not work otherwise. When you first come in, do not head straight to the middle of the area where the Kharyon are. Basically, you want to be equidistant horizontally to the bottom two, but still have a good shot at the top ones with the Star Fire. Getting in just the right place to use the Star Fire can be quite complicated. Okay, here's what you do. Hopefully you can do all this before they lay any eggs otherwise the eggs will absorb the attack and not the pods. Get into a position right in between the two bottom pods that's a ways below the very center of their congregation. Use Star Fire when they open their mouths and DO NOT give them a chance to lay an egg. If you hit them with four successful Star Fires, the Kharyon will be history. Here's a little map to help you out. _____ _____ [ P P ] [ ] [ S ] [__P__ __P__] Key: P = Pod position S = Your position. Basically, you should be in this position (or close to it) to get this method through. It is the best method I know, but the worst part is that there's no room for mistake at all. If you die, you start with only half the magic and this process cannot be redone with only half magic. In that case, you will have to do the method I recommend against and just hope to God that you get a magic restorer from a killer fish that will allow you to use some more Star Fire or even give you the chance to use the Heal spell. [ALTERNATE METHOD] Assuming you have Lightning Strike, use that on Kharyon. Get to a position good enough such that all are hit (and make sure you have full magic) and use Lightning Strike when their mouths open. If you use it all four times, they should be defeated. For a victory over Kharyon, you will get the Time Stop spell. After you're done, head down to the yellowish pattern in the ground. [ANOTHER ALTERNATE METHOD] provided by mcmillen There's another easy way to kill the Kharyon boss without using Star Fire. Wait for all 4 eggs to hatchand just leave yourself in the flow of water, circulating counter-clockwise. Keep doing this until all the fish are grouped together in one spot (after a while they will all overlap.) You might have to avoida couple fish to get this to happen. Now, the fishes' AI is rather poor, so it's pretty easy to get them stuck against the walls. Here's a diagram: +--------------+ | | | +-- --+ | | |1 2| | | A | | |3 C4|B | | +-- --+ | | | +--------------+ Get the pirahnas (or whatever they are) following you in the stream around the outside, about half ascreen or so behind you. When you get to the gap marked A, go through it and head for the point marked C. If you did it right, all the fish will be at about point B -- and they will sit there running into thewall in an attempt to move straight toward you. You can then take care of pods 3 and 4 without being harassed. Do the same sort of trick on the left side to get the pirahnas stuck against the wall to theleft of pod 1; then you can take out pods 1 and 2 as well. -SAND RIVERS OF SHINOL- Yet another easily hatable level. Drop down right away and cling to the left wall and climb down. There will be a 1-Up down there. Grab it and climb back up. Once up, wait for the stone pillar to appear. Jump onto it and wait for the next one to the right to appear. Another one should appear further right after that one. You will have to cling to the side of the pillars, so don't worry too much. Be careful as you get to the stone face. Clinging to the side for too long can be hazardous since spikes emerge from that side. Get to the top of it as soon as possible. If you should jump onto a stone face and there is no pillar to the right, wait for one to appear on the left and jump to it, then wait for the next stone face to appear. Jump to the next two pillars, then finally to the structures. It doesn't matter which one you jump, the higher or lower, just as long as you are on a structure. Kill any purple monsters that are on the structures. If you are on the bottom one, then climb to the top one. Wait for the stone face to appear and quickly jump from one to another. There should be three in all going across. When you get to the next structure, it's the same story. Two parts, both have purple monsters. If you're feeling really risky, you could drop down to bottom and scale the left side, then carefully jump outward and grab a diamond, then angle back to the structure. Either way, get to the top and wait. Jump from the structure to the stone face, then to the pillar just to the right and above it (it should appear a bit later). From there, jump to the next stone face that appears, then to the pillar directly right of it. Jump from that pillar to the next, then to the stone face. Hopefully, another stone face should appear. If not, then follow the same instructions as before and jump back to the left and catch the next stone face. After you've gotten across the level should be complete. When you're done, head left toward the yellow structure. -GATEWAY OF ETERNAL STORMS- Ahh... a stage that grips the heart... Anyway, notice the blue transparent blocks at the beginning. Those cannot be climbed, you must break them with your regular attacks. Some you will have to jump to get at. If you really want that diamond at the top, then destroy the top three blocks on the column directly in front of you and jump up there. Kill the robed enemy and it will become a smaller spider version of itself which is not too hard to kill. After that, break through the wall and the diamond is yours. If you wish to continue this way, you can just break through the wall after that. If you also want the diamond at the bottom, then drop down on the left side and begin breaking through the wall down there. Once inside, grab the diamond. You will have to break the next wall over, which has a wheel enemy in it. To let the wheel out, you're going to have to break three blocks in a row. After that, the wheel will come out and cannot be killed, so run out of its way and then back into the little cubby hole there. Break through the wall on the other side and get the magic restorer. Finally, break through the last wall and you will be standing in front of a turtle cannon. Jump up and kick the cannon once to move it over. With any luck, it will be in such a position that it won't be able to fire any cannon balls at you because the cluster of blocks it was standing on will be blocking its path. Jump onto the cluster, then jump to the second pillar out. From there, you can quickly jump outward to grab the diamond in the air and then angle back to land on the pillar once again. Be quick from here. Jump straight onto the cluster to the right and (if you're interested, there is a diamond hidden inside this cluster, but you will have to be quite careful on opening it), then to the next cluster after that before the cannon has a chance to launch any cannon balls at you. Keep jumping on the clusters until you come to a 1-Up. To get that, you will have to drop down on the pillar to the right of the 1-Up. Timing is the key, here. Jump right after the wheel has gone by toward the 1-Up, then angle back and dodge the 1-Up as best as you can. Once you are on the pillar, continue to dodge the wheel while slowly jumping toward the cluster on the right and attacking at it, then angling back to the pillar if need be. Once the right cluster is destroyed, continue right to the next big block structure. This part can be a bit difficult. When the wheel surrounding the structure is not on the side closest to you, jump and attack, taking out three blocks in that column. That should allow the wheel inside to escape, giving you little time to jump inside (when the coast is clean) and grab the two diamonds, then break through the other side as swiftly as possible and landing on the ground to the right of the structure. On the next structure over, take out two blocks on the bottom chamber to let the wheel out. Take a third out to let yourself in. This next part you'll have to be as quick as possible. Right after the wheel in the chamber to the right passes the wall just to the right of you, take out three portions of the wall and run through. Finally, dodge the wheel as it's coming at you and let it go through the hole you've created. After that, break through the next wall as best as you can then jump to the next side. If you need a magic restorer, then you'll have to brave going below. To do this, break ONLY the bottom three blocks and jump down after the wheel passes by. Quickly crawl under the platform and grab the restorer on the other side, then quickly head counterclockwise around the platform again and back outside. From here, destroy ONLY the top two blocks and climb up on the structure. There will be a robed enemy on top, so be careful. Head right. After him will be another robed baddy and a turtle cannon. Finish them both off carefully. From here, you can either destroy the top two blocks and forgo the goodies inside the structure, or you can get inside. Let's assume you wanted to go inside (if you go around it all, it's pretty straight forward). Break a hole into the wall and let the wheel(s; since there is sometimes more than one in there) out. Jump in and grab the diamond. Now, pummel enough room in the bottom to let the next wheel out and dodge that, then run into the chamber and grab the 1-Up. Break into the next chamber and avoid the wheel in there, too, then grab the diamond. This next part can be a bit difficult. Try to break the highest three blocks you can reach on the upper right most chamber. Let the wheel out, then perch on the gap you've made. You may need to crouch and destroy one block that makes the floor, then move forward as close as you can and tap the jump button to grab the diamond in thee. Hopefully, that worked for you as it did for me. Now, continue right. Yep, you're done with the level. Once you're done, head right and into the tornado thing. [OPTIONAL SIDE QUEST] How do you benefit? You can only gain all the life points this way. Another Gamer filled me in with this. After you've completed the Gateway of Eternal Storms level, push up just above it and you will be taken into a bonus flying level. You will then appear at the hut near the O-Shaped Lake. -SHIP TO NOWHERE- This is a very unique level if I do say so myself. Basically, you are on a ship heading down the river. Every so often, a huge tidal wave (?) will shoot up out of the water and wash various things onto the ship. However, you are doomed to die when the tidal wave finally hits. There is but one way to save yourself. You see that thing sticking up in the middle? Cling to that and you will not be washed away. Here is the flow (no pun intended) of the level. KEY Wave # Monsters/Items presented Description Wave 1 (Three eye creatures) This will wash three eye monsters onto the boat. Pick which side you wish to be on. Kill the middle eye and the eye on the side you have chosen be sure to kill all the offspring as well (wonders how many people will put a hit out on Dexter Holland and Noodles after reading that last line...). After you have killed them all, cling to the middle and wait for the next wave. Wave 2 (One eye creature and two purple robed monsters) Same principle as before. Choose a side and kill both the middle eye creature and the monster on your side. You don't have to keep the same side as last time. Switching sides can pay off... or screw you over. You also don't have to kill all the monsters, just the ones necessary for survival. The reason I say to kill the monster on the side you choose is so they don't hit you and cause you to die. Wave 3 (Magic restorer and a 1 Up) I don't think you will have enough time to grab both, so QUICKLY run to the 1 Up (which might be best here) and cling back on to the middle piece. Wave 4 (Three purple robed monsters) Same drill as before with the first two waves, only there really is no need to kill the middle. The best thing here is that you don't have to jump off the middle piece, but let the purple creature come to you and hit him. Wave 5 (Nothing) Do not get off here. Another wave is coming. Stay clung onto the middle. Wave 6 (1 Up and one Magic restorer) Grab whichever you see fit and cling back again FAST! Wave 7 (Three eye creatures) Same as Wave 1. That should be all. After the seventh wave, the level is done. You should appear right next to the Lair of Kharyon. If you haven't done this level yet, you will have to now. Carry on with the FAQ from here. Remember, if you're doing this FAQ in the order I've presented, then go to Storm Fortress of Kh'lar. -STORM FORTRESS OF KH'LAR- Kill the first eye creature you see and jump onto the air stream on the right. Now, jump left from the furthest left point and into the stream above to grab a diamond and a 1-Up. You should be back at the beginning again. Head right until you come to an upward stream that's really tall and has a couple of riders near it. Drop down the right side of the stream and grab the diamond down near the bottom, then angle left and the stream will carry you back up. Now, make your way to the top of the tall stream. Jump through the downward stream and you should hopefully land on an upward stream. If you are on the one on the bottom, then you should notice an upward stream just above it. If you jump onto it, it will carry you to a magic restorer surrounded by bats. If you want the magic restorer, kill the bats and grab it. After that, continue right. There's two different ways you can go from here. You can take the lower route or the higher route. Both lead the same place. Head to the bottom upward stream (a bit below the magic restorer) and there should be an airstream heading right. If you jump over it or go with it, you will land on another upward stream with an eye creature and a diamond next to it. Kill the creature, take the diamond. Now, there should be another stream going right; A very long one at that. If you jump straight into it, it will carry you directly right and you will land on a tall, upward stream (it has a 1-Up next to it). Let's say you want to take that upper route. Go to the airstream that had the bats just above it. From there, jump to the airstream up and a bit to the right (it is flowing upward). Kill the eyeball creature there. You should notice a group of bats surrounded a life restorer. This can be a bit diffiuclt, but almost worth it. Jump right and you might fly into a stream that will carry you right. Try to work against it and you will fall onto a stream going left. From there, drop down from the stream and angle right onto an upward stream below. Now, head right until you come to an upward stream depicted above. Walk into the tall part of the stream and let it carry you up, but do not go all the way up. There should be a gap you can rest in. Kill the eyeball creature there and drop down to grab the 1-Up, then angle left. The thing here is that you don't want to be way the hell out. You only want to be far enough out such that you can grab the 1-Up. This means you'll have to be extremely close to the stream. This can take a few tries. Now, go to the gap in the streams again. Jump against all the streams and you will land in a huge upward stream with a stream right on top of it pushing to the left. Move to the right and drop from the stream and you should make it to a door. Push "up" to go through a door. Let the airstream carry you up and kill the wraith above. Jump left and grab the diamond when you reach the top of the upward stream. Again, there is technically two routes you can go here. [Lower Route] If you drop down from the top of the upward stream, you will land on another upward stream, a rather large one too. Head right on this stream and grab the diamond and then continue. There should now be upward streams that make a staircase-like formation. Keep jumping from one to another. At the top "step," you are now at the point that intersects with both ways. Remember this part. [Upper Route] Assuming you took the upper route... You should be at the upward stream near the beginning of the area. Jump right through the rightward stream and you will land on a small upward stream. Keep heading right from there, killing any wraiths or dragons along the way. You will eventually come to a leftward stream. Jump against it, grabbing the diamond along the way. Finally, you should reach the furthest right you can go. Drop down. You should make it to the top "step" described in the route above. From the "step," head right. Kill the wraiths and dragons that show up. You should go with a rightward stream when jumping right and possibly land on a long, but skinny upward stream. Jump from there to another upward stream to the right. There should hopefully be a rightward stream. Jump with it and grab the diamond inside. Just to the left is an upward stream with a life restorer to the left of it. Drop down and almost immediately angle right to get back onto the stream. Up and to the right should be an upward stream with a wraith near it. Kill the wraith if you need to. Jump to the upward stream just above that and drop down and go through the door. BOSS HARPY Diffuclty rating: Pathetic First off, jump onto the left platforms. The Harpy will split into three, two of which are fake versions of herself. When the clones appear, attack them repeatedly. They should fall. Now, use the Time Stop spell and begin lacing into the real Harpy. With time, she should fall. All I can say is do not get careless. You will get Lightning Strike for your efforts. Head right of the fortress and make your way to the red building. -FORTRESS SHIROL- Another flying level. Fly forward and grab the diamond. On the way down, watch out for the explosive enemies. Destroy them and grab the diamond also on the way down. You should eventually come to a life restorer with bats surrounding it. Kill the bats and grab it if you need it. Kill the turtle cannon and grab the diamond. You should be continuing right. Kill the bomb on the way and stay clear of the bats surrounding the diamond. Another turtle cannon should appear after that. Grab the life restorer and drop down to the area below. You should see some bats swarming around a couple of spaces. Go through the left space (an upper route). Grab the 1-Up on the way up. You should start heading right again. Kill the turtle cannons on the way. You should start going downward now. Careful not to accidentally drop down into the spikes instead of taking the proper direction (the proper direction should be right of the turtle cannon). There should be a bunch of turtle cannons and bombs on the way down. Carefully grab all the diamonds as you begin heading right and watch out for the bomb. The exit should be just up ahead. After exiting, head down and at the crossroads, head right and into the cave there. -MT. SHINROL/CAVERNS OF SHINROL- The first thing you'll see is a gondola. It's pretty obvious where to go from here. Jump and cling to the gondola and ride it down. Soon as you see a small platform attached to a line. Jump onto the platform and ride it downward, only this one will take you left. At the lowest point of its descent should be a pillar you can jump on. Jump onto it and begin heading right. Beware of the lava monsters that pop up every so often. You should come to another moving platform shortly. Jump onto that and let it carry you right. Look out for the lava monster as it appears. You should have to dodge its attacks twice. Jump to the next moving platform over and watch out for another lava monster attack. Along the way should be another gondola for you to ride on. Cling to it immediately, and then jump to the area above you and a bit to the left. There should be a couple hand creatures up there. Hit the hands to temporarily take them out. From here, you can go two different paths: Right or Left. [Right] (go this way if you really don't feel you need any extra diamonds) Jump right and cling onto the side of the platform to the right. Climb up onto it and attack the hands on there. Continue right and jump onto another platform with some hand creatures. The only difference here is the moving platform above your head. Jump onto that and let it carry you down. This will take you to the intersecting point. [Left] (go this way if you want some extra diamonds) Take out the hands and head left, then climb up the wall. You will see a line with a moving platform on it and a creature attached to the line. You can either jump and attack it or wait for it to head back, then jump on the moving platform and attack it on the way right. You'll also pick up some diamonds along the way. At the end of the line drop down onto the next onto the moving platform below and let it carry you down. Then, drop to the intersecting point. The area I define as the intersecting point (the place at which both paths eventually end) should have a line of spikes down the left side of it (just so you know). Drop down onto the gondola below and kill the creature on the line as you are going across. After that, dodge the lava monster's projectile and run through the screen. Jump over the pit of spikes and climb up onto the moving platform. Kill the creature on the wire when you need to. Cling to and climb up the left wall and jump to the moving platform above. Let it carry you right and jump down. Grab the two diamonds you see presented before you. There will be a gondola down below you. Drop down onto it and sit at the far left side of it. This way, you can dodge the flames that come out of the heads attached to the walls as you head up. A creature will appear, so kill it. Right after that, you will start heading downward and eventually come to a place with a platform and a lava monster right next to it. Get around the monster and maneuver right. This will take a lot of luck and some skill. Jump onto the moving platform on the right. From here, you will have to kill the creature on the wire and dodge the lava monster's projectile at the same time. You could do that, or jump over both the projectile and the creature at the same time, which ever suits your fancy. Another lava monster will appear. Get around that, then jump to the gondola on the right. As it's heading right, you'll need to get around another lava monster, a creature on the line, and a lava monster right after that. After you've gotten back onto the floor, head through the door and out. In this area, you'll have to deal with some wizards. Dodge their projectile attacks at all cost as they can kill you instantly. I'll be going about this the long-drawn way (a bit), so you don't have to follow everything in the exact order as you wish. I will indicate where needed. Jump onto the first gondola you see. Let it carry you up and around. You can just jump to the wall on the right if you wish. That is, if you don't want an extra life. There will be a magic restorer on the left if you need one. Kill the wire creatures and drop down on the right to get a 1 Up. Now, jump onto the moving platform to the left and let it carry you back. When you've gotten as far back as you can, make your way back to the initial gondola and let it carry you up, only this time cling to the wall on the right as you see it and climb up. Jump onto the moving platform on the right and crouch. Let it carry you across. There will be some wire creatures and a few diamonds along the way. Only grab the diamonds if it isn't too cumbersome. If any wizard projectile comes towards you, deflect it with your fist (attack it, that is). At the end, jump off and onto the pillar below. From there, you can drop off onto the first moving platform, but I say go all the way down and drop onto the last one down. This one takes you further out. Jump onto the formation that appears as you head along right. Jump to the wall on the right, then climb a bit and jump to the wall on the left. Climb up that wall and jump onto the moving platform above there. Let it take you over and watch out for the wire creatures. When you can, drop onto the moving platform. This will take you across to the end of this room. Finally, you've reached the end of the level. There is but one roadblock in your way, and he doesn't look too happy... BOSS KAPPA (I couldn't think of a better name, even though this really doesn't bear much resemblance to Kappa) Difficulty Rating: A bit difficult This guy can be a pain if you don't have a good strategy against him. There's one thing you should remember. What he does next is influence by how close you are to him before he pulls his head into his body. If you are close, he will jump in an arc formation. If you are far, he will charge at you. Take notice to the platforms above as they can be good indicators. If he charges at you, either jump over him as best as you can or use the wall as leverage to get around him. When he pops his head out, attack. Be careful, because sometimes he will fire some projectiles out at you. _____________________ | | | | | | | | | | | ___ a a ___ | | |__ __| | | | | | |_____________________| This the screen layout. The small, horizontal lines are the platforms in the room. The vertical lines (with the a's in the center) are imaginary boarder lines. You can't see them, but I want you to draw them in your mind's eye. Here's the drill. Keep heading away from it as much as you can and attacking when its head pops out, busting out a nice three-hit combo. When it moves past the border line presented above, this means it's time for you to climb the wall you're closest to and try to get over the creature without getting hit. When it crosses the boarder, do not attack it, but try to get on the other side of it. This can be achieved by climbing the wall and jumping to the nearby platforms. This may take a little practice, but you should eventually get it. One more warning to look out for. If Kappa crosses the boarder line, but is on the platform above, do not climb the wall, but go underneath him. After a bit of wear and tear, Kappa is fit and ready for the pits of Hell. For defeating Kappa, you will gain Warrior Force. Now, head to the hut just to the left of the caves. The old man there will give you one more life point. After that, head right and into the tree you see below. -DRAGONHILL FOREST- Strange as this may sound, you actually start in the technical middle of the level. It is a maze of sorts. This level wraps around, so you must find the exit. I'll actually make the walkthrough for this level quite succinct. First thing I'll lead you to is the exit. You can start by killing the enemies you come into contact with on the right. Keep heading right. There will be bunches of leaves you can jump on, even though you will slowly fall through them. Keep jumping across until you come to a small crawl space. Crawl underneath the crawl space and you should come to a door. Now, jump left across the pit of spikes and cling to the wall. Climb up it and jump right across the gap. Kill the robed figure if he's too much of a nuisance. Jump into the leaves and then head left, onto the tree bough. Jump to the next bough and walk into the leaves, then jump left onto the stone platform, then quickly left. There should be a door there. Enter the door and this should take you to the end of the level, complete with an arrow made out of diamond. After you're done, continue heading down. There should be a big, red tower down that way. Yep, you're getting closer and closer to the end of the game. -THE GREAT TOWER- Are you ready? This is the final level in this sub-section. Here is where you'll battle the Great Dragon to get the Fiery Phoenix spell. Kill the yeti creature as you enter. Head right and jump over the spikes. Kill the yeti there and jump over the next set of spikes and cling to the wall, but do not immediately climb it. Let the huge knight fly by before you fully climb. Drop down and continue on. Eventually, you will come to a little platform sticking out with a magic restorer on it. Get up there so as to dodge the knight that will fly by. After it passes by, cling to the little piece sticking out that the magic restorer was resting on, then use Comet Flash, heading right when you do. That should allow you to cling to the wall. Climb up the wall and before reaching the yeti, jump to the left wall. Then, quickly jump back to the right side and kill the yeti with a flying kick and grab the magic restorer. Cling to the left wall and climb up. You should notice a 1 Up to the right. Jump over as far right as you can. To get the 1 Up, jump off of each individual piece of wall that is sticking out and angle towards the piece sticking out above you. Do so and make your way to the 1 Up. Now, go back to the left and head that way. Jump over the spikes and stay clear of the knight that will eventually come down. The moving platform there can be useful. Keep heading left, jumping over spikes and the knight. After the second knight you see up here, jump over the spikes, then cling to the wall and climb up. There will be spikes just above you and to the left, but there is also a moving block. Cling onto the block and let it carry you over. There is two different ways to do this. One way is to drop off the block and cling to the wall on the left side of the spikes, and when the next block comes, cling to that. You can do that or just wait until the block you were clung to originally is lined up with the lower one, then drop down and either land on it or cling to it. I find the former is much easier. After it carries you left, climb the wall. You will have to jump right and angle left through this. Do that to cling to parts of the wall that are sticking out above you. Your position on the part of the wall does matter when trying to get further up. Do this until you reach the top, then wait for the block to come and cling to that. This can be a bit difficult, but I noticed that being low down on the top part of the wall helps in clinging to the block. If you miss the block, just head right. Take out any yetis in your way and watch out for the knight as you land. Head right and there will be a huge pit of spikes. Wait until the next block comes and jump onto it. When it carries you right, jump onto the wall and then to the wall to the left. You should have grabbed the magic restorer. Now, Comet Flash to the right. This should cause you to cling to a wall on the right. Now, drop down and angle right again and cling to the wall down there. Climb up that, then up the next wall over that will lead to another area. IMMEDIATELY run right and stay to the left of the raise floor. Let the ceiling come down around you, then jump up and kill the slime above you to clear the path when the ceiling raises again. After killing him, continue right and stay to the right of the raise floor and let the ceiling come down around you again. When it raises, run over and kill the slime there and continue on. Keep heading right and stay left of the next piece of raised floor. When the ceiling goes back up, jump over it. There will be a column of spikes on the way right. As the ceiling comes down, cling to the wall across from the spikes. Then, launch thineself up over the column and land on the other side and wait for the ceiling to run its course. Kill the slime and wait again. Once the ceiling goes back up after killing the slime again, it's time to head right some more. Jump over the spikes. If you're feeling cautious, cling to the wall and wait for the ceiling to come down, then jump over the wall and wait for the ceiling to come down again. If you're feeling risky, just head over the wall all together and wait on the right side. Head over to the right and there will be a huge raised part in the floor with a slime one top of it. I find it easier to use the Aura Attack here, then wait for the wall to come down and back up again. When it does, climb the wall and drop down on the other side and jump across the spikes and wait while clung to the wall. After the ceiling goes back up, climb up and kill the slime, then drop on the right side and wait. When you can, kill the next slime over. After you do so, head right and wait in the little cubby hole just next to the exit. Then, climb up through to the next area. While heading right, a huge ball will fall from the ceiling. Just run line normal. Eventually, you will come to a pit. Jump outward and angle left to cling to the wall above you and let the ball fall. Now, drop back onto the floor below and jump across the pit (grab the life restorer if you want/need it). Climb up the wall and head right. Another ball will drop. Just keep heading right and at the pit, drop down and cling to the left side. Let the ball fall, then jump across the pit. Go through the exit to the next area of the level. This part is a bit tough if you don't know what you're doing. The floor will begin raising and a knight will drop from either side. The first will drop from the left side, so cling to the right wall. When he comes towards you, jump over him and immediately cling to the opposite wall. Another will drop from the other side and they will both charge at you, prompting you to jump over them from the wall and cling to the opposite wall again. After the fourth knight falls, jump across (you should be on the right side now) and climb up and into the next area. This part seems difficult, but it's actually quite easy. Drop down from the platform you're standing on and line up with the platform. Be sure to dodge the spike on the way down by angling left, then angle back right again until you land on a platform. From there, drop down to the right a bit and you will land on another platform. Start heading left until you come to a door. Go through the door. Once inside, you'll be underwater. Kill the bone dragon as it comes at you. Now, head upward. A clue to surviving this is to go against the current as you're heading up. The current will switch at different areas of the water, so be sure you work against the current as you head up. Kill any squids if they come too close. There will be a couple bone dragons on the way up for you to kill. At the top, cling to the wall and climb out into the next area. Start heading across the platforms here. Have your Comet Flash equipped and hopefully you have some magic left. As you're heading across, you can just kick the wyverns as usual if you wish. However, if you find them too much of an encumbrance, use Comet Flash. Make sure that you don't fall out of the screen. Angle toward platforms if need be. Once you are all the way right, go through the door. [THIS JUST IN] According to Another Gamer, Warrior Force can come handy here, killing the wyverns with one shot. Argh! Are we there yet? Jump upward and cling to the bottom part of the wall (it matters not which side) and wait for the spikes to head away from you. Now, jump up and angle toward the part of the wall above. Keep doing this all the way up, staying clear of the spikes. There should only be three bunches of spikes. Now, head through the exit. Guess what? [does a jig] We're finally at the end of the level! BOSS GREAT DRAGON Difficulty rating: Easy This could possibly be the easiest boss in the game. Jump along the top row of platforms. Do not even mess with the bottom row at all as you really don't need to and they are somewhat of a hindrance. Anyway, jump from platform to platform along the top. Do not stand still. As you are heading across, the Great Dragon will start heading up at you. When he does, jump kick him and angle away, then start jumping away from him. Again, don't stand still because he will fire a flame at you. Just keep moving. He will then fly into the air and start the process over again. You can easily score a flawless win over him this way. For beating the Great Dragon, you will gain Fiery Phoenix! Head downward toward the hut below. You will have to do another bonus flying stage. This will take you to the next continent. 4C: THE FINAL BATTLE After the bonus flying stage, you will be with the old man. It's time for the final stage. Head toward the castle. -RAGLAN'S CITADEL- Well, it's time. The final level divided into several different parts. First, you have this annoying auto-scrolling scene in which the game scrolls vertically. After that, you'll enter Raglan's domain and... sigh... have to battle the bosses over again (one after another). Hopefully, you've found good enough methods to take out the bosses while sparsely getting hurt (Yes, it is possible. I've done it.) NOTE: There is a difference in land features I describe here. The stones are the small piece of stone (duh!), pillars are vertically long pieces of stone, and the long pieces of land are horiztonally long pieces of land. ___ | | ___ | | __________ | | | | | | |___| |___| |__________| Stone Pillar Long Piece of Land In the beginning of the level, you will be all the way down below Raglan's Citadel. You must jump upward with a vertically scrolling screen. Get up on top of the stone on the left first. Then, jump to the stone pillar on the right and follow up by jumping to the next pillar over to the right. Now, there will be three stones that will fall when you jump on them going across the screen. Jump on the first one to the left, then to the next one on the left (and a bit up). Jump left again and climb up the pillar. Now, there should be a long piece of land to jump on to the right. Jump onto it and kill the eye creature as you come across it. Jump to the next stone block to the right (this one will fall as well) and then to another long piece of land to the left. Try to get across right here to the next stone pillar on the far left (there is an eye creature here as well). Comet Flash may help. Once on top of the pillar, jump across the stones and get to the pillar on the far right. There will be another long piece of land to the left with an eye creature on it. Jump onto it and kill the eye creature. Run along and get to the pillar on the far left. A pillar should appear on the right (and a bit above you). Latch onto it the instant you have enough room and wait. An eye creature should appear. Kill the eye creature before it has a chance to throw one of its young at you and knock you off the edge. This can be done by jumping left, then angling right and kicking in midair. Now, get on top of the pillar. Now, wait until a stone appears directly above you and latch onto that. There should be a pillar to the right and a bit above the stone that eventually appears. When it does, climb up the stone and jump to the pillar (be sure you wait for it). Now, jump left and angle right to latch onto the stone above you while you're on the pillar. Right after that, jump to the pillar just to the left. Another pillar will appear on the left. Jump on it. Now, jump onto the land above and enter Raglan's Citadel. Now, you'll have to fight the bosses in the following order: Ifrit Beholder Evil Wall Kharyon Kappa In between each will be a hallway with diamonds and life and magic restorers. Right after you defeat Kappa, you'll be thrown into a cutscene. After the cutscene, you must battle the last two bosses. The first one is Raglan's little... Well, I'll try to keep the obscenities out of the FAQ. BOSS ASHURA Difficulty Rating: A bit difficult First thing you want to do is use Fiery Phoenix. This will turn you into a phoenix. Fly into Ashura and this will knock his shield off. You can also linger around him for a couple hits (not too many, though). Do not linger around him for too long. The reason being is that you will transform without any clear warning. This will then cause you to take damage from Ashura. So, after using Fiery Phoenix the first time, I do not recommend fully using it the second time. That does not mean you shouldn't use it. If it befits your strategy, then do so. Just be careful on changing back. This can be tricky if you get careless. You also need to use judgment right here. After you've used the Fiery Phoenix (even using it both times should not be able to finish off Ashura), you will need to move around and attack. Get away from Ashura. Try to get above him in almost any place. When he gets in a good enough position, jump up and kick him in the head. His head is his weakness. After he is hit (and sometimes out of nowhere), he will send some projectile after you. If you run far enough away from Ashura (such that he isn't on the screen), you may get less projectile flying at you. Simply dodging will not help because the projectile shots home in on you. You will need to attack if they get to close. If you cannot get into a safe enough position to hit Ashura (that is, hit him without getting hurt), then relocate. There really isn't much more to him than that. The difficult part comes from his motions. He does not have a set pattern of motion, so he can shift directions at unexpected times. After you've defeated him, you'll get one more cutscene and then it's on to the final boss. May the force be with- D'OH! Another cliche phrase! [THIS JUST IN] According to Another Gamer, you can kill Ashura using two Fiery Phoenixes if you hit him enough. He said to keep on him such that you hit him three times each Phoenix. Whether or not you wish to do this is up to you. [MORE INFO] "In case you're still interested about how much punishment Ashura can take, I d/led the ROM and checked. It's 7 hits, 1 to knock off his shield and 6 to kill him. He doesn't turn invincible after you knock off his shield, so you can hit him again right afterwards."- Another Gamer FINAL BATTLE RAGLAN Diffuclty Rating: A bit difficult Here it is! The final boss. First off, grab the magic restorer. Also, climb up the wall on the left and let Raglan thrust his arm out twice. Then, jump on his arm and run up, jump, and kick him in the face. RIGHT AFTER you've done this, climb up the wall on the left to avoid the laser. Continue to repeat this process. Raglan will progressively raise up higher and higher. Eventually, you won't be able to use the wall anymore (as he will be punching above it). He will also now start thrusting his arm three times instead of two. Now, I propose you use two different spells: Heal or Warrior Force. If you're going to use Heal, do so when you're life is low (of course). As far as Warrior Force goes, use this after you hit Raglan to avoid the laser attack. There is a way to avoid the laser attack without getting hit, but it takes quite a bit of practice. After you hit him, run back and stand on his wrist band (not his arm band, his wrist band). A bit before the laser hits his arm band, jump forward. You may not get it on the first try, so try multiple times to get it down. Hopefully, you have enough lives and energy to do so at this point. After you've hit him in the head enough times, he will die and... YOU'VE DONE IT! The walkthrough is now over. You've (hopefully) finished the game! Pat yourself on the back... and go away! ---------------------- / SECTION 5: PASSWORDS \ -------------------------- -KEY- - = Space T = Triangle X = X 0 = Circle Passwords can be gained from the small huts where the old man lives. Q: What's the best way to get at enemies that are hard to get at (i.e. just above you, but a little ways away from the edge of the floor)? A: Learn how to utilize your jump kick. Also learn how to control your jumping directions. You can change directions in midair in this game, so take advantage of that. Q: Are spells necessary for killing bosses? A: Depends on the boss. They aren't totally necessary, but they can be quite convenient or even useful. Q: I'm in the plains and I see a small hut at the top of the O-shaped lake. How do I get to it? A: I actually have not found out, but if anyone could tell me, I will give you props and credit. I think this refers to the bonus rounds where you must fly and gather diamonds. [THIS JUST IN] Another Gamer comes to the rescue. How do you get there? Well, after you've completed The Gateway of Eternal Storms, push up on the world map where the Gateway is (there won't be anything to move up into, just a forest above it) and this will take you to a bonus flying game. After that will be a secret level you must complete. Q: Can you give me any tips as far as killing the lion creatures in the Petrolith Castle? A: Inch your way toward them. Do not make long approaches and try to avoid jumping at them unless you feel you can do so at a good enough angle. When they approach you, take initiative and attack them almost immediately. Do not let them hit you because they can cause some pretty good damage. Q: In the Sand River I jumped on a stone face but there was nowhere else to go after that and I keep dying or having to use Comet Flash. Is there a way around this? A: If you should jump onto a stone face and there is no pillar to the right, wait for one to appear on the left and jump to it, then wait for the next stone face to appear. Q: What do you mean by "angle right" or "angle left?" A: While in a jump or in mid-air, push the corresponding direction. So, if I say jump, grab a diamond, then angle right, what I mean is for you to jump toward the diamond, then when you grab it push right on the D-pad and Sky will start heading right. This is what I refer to as "angling right." Q: Is there a way to kill the lava monsters in Mt. Shinrol? A: Not that I know of. ---------------------- / SECTION 7: LEGAL BIT \ -------------------------- This FAQ is copyright 2001-2003 to Joe Shaffer, aka BoredGamer.
