For those who have played this game, they know it is a challenging and exciting game - a new kind of racing game - where one races to win customers, not beat the clock. One of a kind, Paperboy 2 can be a handful, as this is anyone’s first time playing a game of this type. For those who wish to have some fun, or get a bit of a head start, try these codes on for size. Thank you for following my simple request. *********** 4. Game Genie Controls *********** You just got back from your local used game store, or a garage sale, and you want to use your Game Genie. The problem is, you want to know how, and fast. To speed up your wait until fun time, I will explain how the Game Genie works, and a few tricks. A. Understanding the screen. When you turn on your Game Genie, a code input screen will appear. The top half will be a grid, eight squares across, five down. This is where you will input your Game Genie codes. In the upper-left-most box, there should be a Shimmering Star symbol. For future reference, the term "Grid Square" is referring to one of the forty squares on the upper grid I just described. Below this grid, will be a panel of letters and numbers. They are situated as follows: | 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | | 8 | 9 | A | B | C | D | E | F | Using the control pad, you can move a cursor among the keys. It will look like a pirate sword. B. Inputting Codes: Buttons Each button on your SNES controller has its own command. They are as follows: A Button: When pressed, this will erase the letter imputed on the Grid Square in which the Shimmering Star symbol is situated. I prefer to call it the "backspace" B Button: This button will input a letter into the Grid Square whereas the Shimmering Star symbol is situated. You will use the letter and number pad to input the codes, and, when your cursor is pointed on the correct letter or number, you will use the B Button to select it. Y Button: This will move the Shimmering Star symbol back one Grid Square, without erasing or adding any letters/numbers. X Button: This will move the Shimmering Star symbol forward one Grid Square, without erasing or adding any letters/numbers. C. Tricks Left & Right Buttons: When held together, these buttons will erase the entire row (i.e. one whole code) in which the Shimmering Star symbol is located (any Grid Square will work). NOTE: If the line this trick is performed in is blank, the previous line with code in it will be erased. Erase All Codes: Hold down the Left & Right Buttons, and press the A Button. All inputted codes should be erased. D. Note If you find that your codes are not working, there could be several problems. First of all, make sure your Game Genie is turned on. The switch on the Game Genie cartridge should be pushed up, and a light should be glowing. If it is still not working, it has been said that some codes do not work for some versions of certain games. I am sorry for those who miss out on these codes because of this. *********** 5. Game Genie Codes *********** Ahhh, the fun part! Below, you will find a total of thirty-five Game Genie Codes - Hopefully they will aid you in your game! NOTE: These codes will still work, even if you input a code in the Paperboy 2 game screen, in which you just to the medium or hard levels. SECOND NOTE: When referring to Paperboy, it is meant literally. There are different codes for Paperboy and Papergirl. Be forewarned. ======================= 1. DFBF - A767 This code allows the Paperboy to have a meager 1 life upon starting the game. ======================= 2. D7BF - A767 Using this code, Paperboy will have 5 lives upon starting the game. ======================= 3. D5BF - A767 This allows Paperboy to begin with 7 lives ======================= 4. DBBF - A767 This allows Paperboy to begin with 9 lives ======================= 5. FBBF - A767 This allows Paperboy to begin with 25 lives ======================= 6. 74BF - A767 This allows Paperboy to begin with 50 lives ======================= 7. 17BF - A767 This allows Paperboy to begin with 99 lives ======================= 8. DFB5-ADD7 This allows Papergirl to start with 1 life, rather than 5 ======================= 9. D7B5 - ADD7 This allows Papergirl to begin with 3 lives ======================= 10. D5B5 - ADD7 This allows Papergirl to begin with 7 lives ======================= 11. DBB5 - ADD7 This allows Papergirl to begin with 9 lives ======================= 12. FBB5 - ADD7 This allows Papergirl to begin with 25 lives ======================= 13. 74B5 - ADD7 This allows Papergirl to begin with 50 lives ======================= 14. 17B5 - ADD7 This allows Papergirl to begin with 99 lives ======================= 15. DDBE - 6404 This code allows either character to have infinite lives. If all subscriptions are lost, however, the game still ends. ======================= 16. FBC6 - DFAD Either character will begin with 25 papers ======================= 17. 74C6 - DFAD Either character will begin with 50 papers ======================= 18. 17C6 - DFAD Either character will begin with 99 papers ======================= 19. DD6D - 6F60 If you have fewer than 10 papers, paper bundles are worth 0 papers. ======================= 20. D96D - 6F60 If you have fewer than 10 papers, paper bundles are worth 5 papers ======================= 21. F06D - 6F60 If you have fewer than 10 papers, paper bundles are worth 20 papers ======================= 22. DD88 - D464 Either character will have infinite papers ======================= 32. DB6A - ADA0 In the Week 1 training course, start with 79 seconds ======================= 33. D56A - ADA0 In the Week 1 training course, start with 59 seconds ======================= 34. D76A - ADA0 In the Week 1 training course, start with 19 second ======================= 35. DD67 - D4D9 Have infinite time in the Week 1 training course ======================= There are all Thirty Five Game Genie Codes.
