Then you must enter your name and select teams - Compete in some events + From here you need select how many players you want, from 1 to 8. Then you have to select your team. Then you can select which events to compete in. you must select at least 1 event. press the A button to select/deselect the events, when you have selected the events click "7)DONE" - Compete in one event + After clicking this option, you can select the amount of players, Then you must select the amount of players and then select your team and then select which event you which to compete in. (pressing the A button to select the event) - Practice one events + After clicking this, you get asked which event you which to compete in. - View high scores + This views the high score table - View title screen + This views the title screen HOW MANY PLAYERS ---------------- This screen shows numbers from 1 to 8. use the left and right buttons on the D-pad to move through the numbers. Select the highlighted option by pressing the A button SELECTING A TEAM ---------------- You can select from 9 teams using the D-pad to move and A to select. The teams are: Maxx-out, Costa del mar sunglasses, Kawasaki, Santa Cruz Skateboards, Ocean pacific, Casio, Auzzie Surf board, Spin jammer flying disk AND Ray-d-o Baxgear. *-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+* 5. EVENTS *-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+* =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= =5.1 Half pipe= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= The half pipe has its name because it is the shape of half a hollow pipe. This is to ride a skateboard on and perform tricks. Each competitor must ride in the half pipe, and when the reach the edge, perform a trick. and then continue until the time runs out. Press any button to start. Then use UP and DOWN on the D-pad to keep the skateboard in motion, UP when you are moving up the pipe and DOWN when you are moving down the pipe. Use the A button and a direction to pull a trick, But Holding the button to long or to short of a time will cause you to "bail!" There are several tricks that can be performed... Kick Turn Hand Plant Aerial Plant These are all worth different amounts of points. Kick turn will give you around 100 or 200 points. Hand plants will get to between 300 and 700 points and then the aerial plant will get you the most points (up to 999) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= =5.2 Foot bag = =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= The Foot bag is like "haki-sack" Where you must keep the Bag in the air using you body and scoring points while doing it.Dropping the bag is allowed but will waste time. Use the A button to kick/Interact with the bag and the B button to jump in the air. The left and right buttons on the D-pad move the character left and right. There are several tricks to perform for points.... Five in a row - This is just hitting the bag 5 times without dropping it. Half axle - This is when you hit the bag. then turn 180 and hit it again. Full axle - This is when you hit the bag, then turn 360 and hit it again. Axle Foley - This is when you hit the bag, then turn 540 and hit it again. Horseshoe - This is flicking the shoe from one foot to the other Double arch - Kick outside with the left foot, then the outside right foot, then again with the left foot. Doda - Kicking with the outside of the left foot, Then hitting the bag with the head, and then Kicking the bag with the outside of the right foot. Reverse Doda - Same as above but from right to left Jester - Hitting the bag with the outside of your foot. Head banger - Hit the bag with the your head, then turn 180 and hit the bag with your head again Hit the gull - Head the bag so that it hits a seagull flying above. =-=-=-=-=-=-= =5.3 Surfing= =-=-=-=-=-=-= The idea of this event is to stay riding the wave, not get engulfed by the wave and to perform tricks to score points for the judges. If you fall off the wave or don't vary the tricks you pull, the judges will not mark you very high. Press A button to start the event, then left and right to control how high you are on the wave. to pull a trick press left and go off the top of the wave, but make sure you then press right to land at the right angle, else you will fall off the wave. Also moving left and right increases your speed on the wave. =-=-=-=-=-=-= =5.4 Skating= =-=-=-=-=-=-= This event is on the sidewalk/footpath, and a messy one at that. You must skate along the path until the time runs out or you reach the end, Bailing 3 times will fail you. Use the UP and DOWN buttons on the D-Pad to move ('track and field' style), If you hold UP or DOWN for longer, then you will edge that way of the pathement Use the A button to jump over obstacles in your way. And LEFT and RIGHT on the D-pad to spin and do tricks. Points are awarded for Avoiding obstacles, Jumping over obstacles and Spinning while jumping over an obstacle. =-=-=-=-= =5.5 BMX= =-=-=-=-= This is the most memorable event for me. Its the easiest and coolest. The idea is to ride the BMX on the track, avoiding the obstacles and pulling tricks. TAP the B Button to move on the bike faster, and use the D-PAD to move. Press the A button to Jump over obstacles and (when in the air) pull tricks. There are several tricks to pull Jump - While riding press A Wheelie - When moving along press left. Table top - Press up when in the air 360 - Press down in the air Back flip - While in the air press left (like a wheelie) Front flip - While in the air press right =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= =5.6 flying disk= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= This is the strangest event, The aim is to throw a disk to your team mate. You need to judge distance, angles and speed, and then control your team mate also To start the event press the A button. and then press left, until the line at the bottom of the screen moves to the Green near the word Speed, and then press right, until the line moves to the green near the word angle. then press left. Now look at the top of the screen, This is a shot of the whole field, You are now in control of the team mate. Use the D-pad to move her to intercept the Disk. Press the A button to dive. points are awarded depending on how the disk is caught. Running right - 150 Running left - 250 Dive right - 250 Dive left - 350 Overhead catch - 350 *-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+*-+* 6. Nothing, They are just there for show, and for the trophies. They don't have any other effect. Q. How many players can join? A. You can have up to 8 players, And they can have the same team/sponsor. The teams in the game doesn't make the 2 players an 'actual team' with points and trophies. Q. Do the high-scores save. A. Sadly not, The scores will reset when the console is turned off, and the high-scores in the cartridges ROM will be reinstated.
