Fang - This item allows the eye to change faster, which means that your attacks get stronger easier. ############################################################################### (E) WALKTHROUGH ############################################################################### Bricklayer J. Gastronomy You will find the walkthrough for the entire game in the sections below. ############################################################################### (E-01) HIGH RIDGE ############################################################################### Jump left for a 1up and head right as you kill a trio of dinos, but try to use your charge bite while running, and your normal one when not. Eat the bodies for more health if you need to and remember to hold the attack buttons instead of pressing them rapidly. Jump the rock and kill another dino down below, then go right until you see some red flowers. These flowers are deadly so don't EVER touch them, just avoid them if you see any. You should notice the eye in the top right corner by now. The pupil in this eye starts out rounded and becomes more narrow as you attack. It returns to being round when you don't attack. The more often and constant your attacks, the stronger they will be. So you should pause the game if you're sitting around, so your attacks stay at their current strength. Jump onto the step on your left and jump right across the gaps, then bite the mosquitoes if you want more health. Go right to a rock and cross the log, then turn around and go left through the log. Take the fang on your right and kill more dinos, then head left and carefully drop down four ledges. Jump left across two platforms for a fang, then jump back right. Drop down the ledges and kill the blue dino, then eat the body and go left. Jump up the steps and carefully back and forth across the gaps and platforms. Drop right once you reach the larger one and walk through the passage for the DNA, then go right and back to the ground. Jump back up all the platforms to the large one, then jump right to the slightly higher platform and left up some steps. Keep jumping up to the top and go left until you reach the start of the stage again. Now go back right past the log this time and kill another dino, then carefully jump right across the ledges. Work your way down to the ground while avoiding the flowers, then kill a dino and finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E-02) RAIN FOREST ############################################################################### Jump the flowers on your right and jump past the raptor [or you can fight it if you want]. Jump some flowers and kill a pair of raptors, then grab the fang and enter the log. Kill 4 raptors along the path and a blue dino, then take the DNA. Go back to the log and jump right over it, then kill another group of raptors and jump over a flower. Kill some more raptors and jump across some platforms to finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E-03) CREEK BED ############################################################################### Kill the pair of raptors on your right and grab the fang, then go back left to the water. Jump right onto the ledge and walk through the wall, then kill two raptors and go through the next hole. Carefully slide down the hill and attack two more raptors, then jump right before jumping left to a ledge. Quickly jump up the ledges on your left before facing a raptor, then continue your climb as a pair drop from above. Run past them if you can and jump the gap, then kill a lone raptor and go through the next hole. Kill two flying dinos and raptor, then jump to the first platform above. Jump left and walk left for a raptor and 1up, then return to the ground. Jump right across the five platforms and walk through a hole, then kill a trio of raptors as you go through another hole. There is DNA floating in the air just left of here, and you need to jump towards it and bite up when under to get it. Go back through the holes once more and attack some flying enemies on your right. Jump across the ledges to avoid flowers below and finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E-04) AISLE OF GIANTS ############################################################################### Jump the flowers on your right and carefully walk right between the dinos' feet. They always step in the same spot, so watch carefully and don't linger in those spots. Jump the small rocks that roll by in this section as well, then jump some flowers as things get a little trickier. Watch for the DNA between some flowers and carefully grab it, then jump more flowers and grab the 1up on your way to the next stage. ############################################################################### (E-05) SLEEPING TITAN ############################################################################### In this stage you have to try not to get stepped on or eaten, which is easier said than done. You need to kind of jump back left a little, then go back to running right. Go right as the T-Rex wakes up, then run right and jump 3 sets of flowers [the third is a harder jump]. Jump two more flowers up ahead and ignore the 1up as you clear another set. Jump 3 more flowers that are kind of hidden by a tree, then a group and a single hidden tree one. Jump a few more flowers as you come to a ledge, then drop down and take the DNA on your left as you finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E-06) PLAINS ############################################################################### Jump the flowers and rocks until you come to a small tunnel, then you make a choice. Either go through the tunnel and fight a bunch of raptors [and a 1up at the end], or stick to the high ground and jump rocks while fighting raptors. Either way you'll come to a bunch of ledges, so jump across them and grab the fang if you took the top route earlier. Carefully jump across the ledges [some crumble if you stay too long] and walk right off the last one for the DNA. Jump back across the platforms once more and keep right to finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E-07) RIVER'S EDGE ############################################################################### Go right and drop onto a ledge [a fang's below if you want it], then jump a few gaps. Go up top and get the fang behind the rocks, then go back down and carefully jump across the slanted ledges [they have a small flat part you can land on]. The last one you'll likely have to jump quickly on the ramp to get over. You can see the DNA below you here, but I don't know how to get it. Jump across the slanted ledges [not the crumbling ones] as you pass some flowers, then take a big jump to a good-sized ledge. Slide right down the ramps and jump right, then jump up some more ramps. Jump right across some platforms and slide left down a ramp, then walk right off the ledge and slide left down another ramp. Drop right and keep going to finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E-08) BENEATH THE SURFACE ############################################################################### You can hold circle in this stage to swim fast, so use it! Swim right along the bottom and grab the 1up from the second log, then go to the first patch of bubbles for more air [fills your blue gauge]. Avoid the enemies as you swim towards the second patch of bubbles on the bottom, then swim right until the path gets narrow and forks. Take the lower path for the third set of bubbles, then swim up and right to finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E-09) TIDAL CAVERN ############################################################################### Go right through the hole in the wall as you notice a laser site on you and that you're being shot at. Run right and jump to the ledge, then drop off the right end and run left for the DNA. Run back right past the cave and along the ledge once more, then jump right across about 8 ledges [watch out for the shots so they don't damage you or knock you down]. Now you're on another larger ledge, but not for long. Jump right from this left side to reach more smaller ledges, and cross about 13 of these to finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E-10) ENTER CAREFULLY ############################################################################### This is the first stage you get to play as the hunter, so now you can finally fire a gun. The rope gun allows you to swing and you can control the length of the rope as well. Jump over the spikes and watch for a dino behind you in the water, then run right and use your rope gun on the rock above and swing to the rapid fire ammo. Keep right to the spikes and use your rope to swing over them for explosive ammo, then shoot the dino up ahead with a trio of shots. Use your rope above to get over the wall and kill a raptor on your right, then swing right onto the ledge and roll through the narrow passage. Swing over the wall and roll to the medkit, then shoot a trio of raptors and swing left for the explosive ammo. Roll right and shoot 3 raptors, then swing right while using the low rocks to get past the raptors below and reach the end of the stage. ############################################################################### (E-11) ARID CANYON ############################################################################### Go left for some gas ammo and fire it at the dino up ahead, then look for a rock above. Swing right off this rock as it crumbles and kill about 5 dinos as you go right. Take the high route as you kill another, then you have a choice. You can walk right off the edge to a 1up and swing right for some rapid-fire ammo. You can also swing off a crumbling block and drop off the right ledge for some explosive ammo and a medkit. Either way you'll get back to the ground afterwards and shoot about 6 dinos on your right. Back up a bit and you should see a platform above you. You need to swing right on this platform and catch the one above, then swing left and land on top of that first platform. Swing on the platform directly above you and land on the ledge on your right, then jump to a small platform just ahead. Swing off the crumbling rock to reach the other side and kill a dino, then jump the spikes and finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E-12) HEART OF THE ISLAND ############################################################################### Kill the annoying flying dino and swing off the crumbling rock above the spikes. Swing off another and try to get the gas shots before you land, then kill the pair of dinos. Kill another on the next ledge and swing from left a bit to get up there. Kill a dino on your right and swing across the spikes, then kill another and jump more spikes. Kill/avoid the flying dino and jump across a pair of platforms, then jump right and swing off the lower platform to clear the spikes. Kill a pair of dinos and swing across two rocks to clear the next gap. Run right past the dino and jump right to a platform, then avoid the flying dino and walk right to another platform. Kill the dinos as you go right to the wall then swing left from one platform to the next. Swing right to land on the first platform and go right to end the stage. ############################################################################### (E-13) UNDERGROUND ############################################################################### Kill a pair of dinos and swing to the rapid-fire ammo, then swing down and kill another one. Back up and shoot the explosive boxes before killing a dino up high. Shoot the box for a medkit and swing to move on, then swing off the metal object above. Touch the red button and hang off the metal object as it moves, then drop on the ledge with the grey box once it moves back left. Kill the dino and take the gas ammo, then kill two ore as you go right and left along a new path. Jump from the lower box to reach the catwalk and roll through the next tunnel. Shoot a trio of dinos and swing back left for medkits, then swing left and back right to hit the red button. Hang off the moving object and swing off when it goes to the right side of the pit. Kill the dino and go right to finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E-14) GEOTHERMAL CENTER ############################################################################### Shoot the box and a trio of dinos, then swing left and hit the red button. Go right and swing from the left end of the platform above. Swing left and release to land on top of this platform, then swing right from one platform to another and back left to land on the previous platform. Jump right across two gaps and hang from the ceiling above, then swing across from up here to reach a red button. Press it to get two objects moving below, then drop and swing right from one to the other. Ride this second one right and start swinging across the ceiling, then watch for the dino as you land on the ledge. Destroy the boxes for some grenades and swing over to some more boxes. Destroy them for explosive ammo and a medkit, then kill the dinos and go to either end of the ledge. Drop and swing under the ledge as you hit a red button, then hang off the moving object that appears on your right. Swing right to a ledge and go right some more, then swing from the object to another red button. Press it to get the object moving, then hang from the object and ride it right. Swing to the next ledge and destroy the boxes, then swing right underneath the next ledge to reach one beyond. Shoot a dino up ahead as you finish this annoying stage. ############################################################################### (E-15) INGEN COMPLEX ############################################################################### Jump from the right box to the left and jump up for some DNA, then destroy the boxes for some explosive ammo. Kill raptors on both sides of you as you move right, then shoot the box under the walkway when you can for more explosive ammo. Shoot more boxes up ahead for a medkit and kill more dinos. Finally shoot and roll right as needed, smashing the boxes and going through a door to end the stage. ############################################################################### (E-16) THE WAY OUT ############################################################################### This is your first stage as a raptor, so go right to the box and kill the hunter on the other side [your charge kick and some biting works well, as does crouching bites/scratches and pouncing]. Jump to the next box and kill another hunter as you run to another box. Watch for gas as you kill another hunter, then take the high route and kill two more. Attack a hunter as you hit a box, then stay on this high route as you kill four more. Jump the boxes and kill another, then go right and destroy the boxes [watch for the explosives inside]. Kill a hunter and another on the walkway, then jump over the broken section by the Ingen logo and kill another one. Run over two weak panels and jump the boxes, then kill the hunter and watch for gas up ahead. Kill either hunter and more beyond the boxes as you finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E-17) RAPTOR RAVINE ############################################################################### In this stage you can often jump right over dinos instead of fighting them. Fight the dino and slide down the hill before attacking three more, then slide down another hill and jump across a pair of platforms. Slide again and jump past another platform and dino, then jump some more and ride the broken chunk of rock down and jump right to the fang. Kill a pair of dinos and jump some spikes, then kill two more and jump another set of spikes. Jump from the crumbling rock to a platform and jump left to another one, then walk through the cave for a 1up. Walk back right and jump to the next ledge as you kill two dinos. Go right as the rock falls and jump right to the pair of 1ups when you see them. Jump across two crumbling rocks and go past about 3 dinos, then jump some spikes and slide down a hill. Jump onto the platform and jump from the crumbling rock to a ledge. Kill the dino and jump up one more, then go right to end the stage. ############################################################################### (E-18) THE BURN ZONE ############################################################################### Kill 4 dinos while jumping the lava, then jump the platforms and more lava. Jump more lava and dinos before attacking/jumping a big dino [jump as he charges]. Jump more lava and a big dino, then jump more dinos and lava along via some platforms. Jump up a hill and watch for lava before jumping up another one. Go left at the top of the hill for a new path and a 1up, then you have to slowly lure the large dino right towards the big rock. Jump over him as he smash the rock and repeat this to smash 1 more big rock. Jump some more lava and small dinos, then jump a large one to finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E-19) INTO THE FIRE ############################################################################### Jump the lava and a dino as you reach some stone, then watch for fireballs falling from above. Jump a pair of dinos and jump to the branch, then clear the lava as you jump across two logs. Jump the triceratops when it goes on its back legs, then jump some lava and dinos. Jump to the branch and log before jumping a triceratops and dino, then jump across the logs and leap over a dino. Clear some lava and dinos until you reach the fireballs, then use the branch for cover before moving on. Jump more lava and watch for debris as you come to a rocky ledge, then jump a triceratops and some lava. Dodge the fireball and clear more lava, then jump a pair of dinos to finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E-20) EYE OF CHAOS ############################################################################### Go right until you get the DNA, then watch as the boss charges. You want to jump over him before he gets too close and pounce on his head to deal damage. Pres circle at close range while facing him to actually knock him onto his back, then you can get in a few quick attacks [crouching bites are good] before he gets up again. Repeat this until the boss is dead and the stage is over. ############################################################################### (E-21) AFTERMATH ############################################################################### This is the first stage as the T-Rex, so take the fang on your left and jump the lava on your right. Bite the log and realize that the raptors keep coming from both sides of you. You pretty much want to bite any raptors on your right and swallow then with "X" for the health. Don't bother turning around for the raptors on your left. If you want the DNA, then smash the logs and jump the lava until you reach the it and bite up to get it. Now you want to hold R1 to reach the optional paths and you have a choice. The path closest to the start of the stage leads to a 1up and nothing more. But the path about halfway between the start of the stage and the DNA is the one that leads to the exit. So get the 1up if you want to risk the health to get it, then take the other path. This path has a fang and leads to the end of the stage. ############################################################################### (E-22) FORCE OF NATURE ############################################################################### Take the normal path past the raptors the lava and one log, until you come to a bigger dino. This guy swings his tail at you and backs into you to hit you with it. You want to bite him in the head and back off left until he's off the screen. At the right distance he should be facing you again and you can go in for another bite. About 9-10 bites will finish him off, then you can go right for the DNA and the end of the stage. ############################################################################### (E-23) SULPHUR FIELDS ############################################################################### Jump the water and run past the geyser when it's not spraying. Go past two more geysers and use a crouching bite to grab the triceratops and bite it a few times. After about 10 of these it should be dead, then go right past two more geysers and some water. Kill another triceratops and go right past another geyser for the DNA. Go back left and take an optional path up just after the second triceratops. Go past the water and a trio of geysers to reach the end of the stage. ############################################################################### (E-24) DINOSAUR LAIRS ############################################################################### Head right and hold R1 as you hit a fork to take the upper optional path, then kill the spawning dinos as you find the DNA. Keep fighting your way right until you come to a large dino. This guy likes to counter-attack when bitten normally, but if you're not too close you can land a hit and avoid the counter just by standing there. He also loves to back off as you try to attack, just don't get too close. If you can get a crouching bite to hit its mark then you'll drag and bite him like the triceratops from earlier. Head right once you kill him to reach the end of the stage. ############################################################################### (E-25) PREDATOR'S BALL ############################################################################### In this stage you have to deal with humans firing rockets at you on your right, and some shooting the ceiling to cause rocks to fall from behind you. Try your best to jump over or run under the shots as needed, then eat the humans. If you just jump on the humans then they'll wait on the ground. Be sure to use a crouching bite to finish them off. Stay on the main path [and walk in short bursts to make it a little easier] until you reach a larger dino, then fight it just like before to end the stage. ############################################################################### (E-26) HUNTER CAMP ############################################################################### Run right and swallow all the hunters, then take the first optional path as it branches up. Bite the generator and return to the main path, then go through the first gate and eat some more. Stand under the pair of hunters above and bite up to knock them down, then take the optional path at the second fork. Eat your way to the second generator and destroy it, then return to the main path and go right through the second gate to reach the end of the stage. ############################################################################### (E-27) THE HUNTERS REGROUP ############################################################################### There are rocket hunters in this stage so be careful as you go to the first fork. Take the optional path and destroy the generator, then return to the main path. Work your way to the second branch and take the optional path to destroy another generator, then go right on the main path and through the next gate for some 1ups. Get past the final hunters here to reach the end of the stage. ############################################################################### (E-28) FORCED EXILE ############################################################################### This is the first stage as the human prey [Sarah Harding], who has the same controls and abilities as the human hunter. Run right and swing over the lasers for a flare [equip it and shoot it straight up when you need a few seconds], then jump the next lasers and spikes. Swing across the next spikes for another flare as a hunter helps you out, then swing over more just ahead. Swing over a large laser grid and jump over two spikes, then swing over more spikes and over a laser grid beyond. Take a hit near the spikes so the T-Rex destroys the first one, then you can jump the second. Swing onto the platform with the flare and jump the grid for a medkit, then go over some lasers to get explosive ammo [you can use this to destroy spikes]. Jump the spikes and a few more to reach the end of the stage. ############################################################################### (E-29) GRAVEYARD ############################################################################### Remember that you can jump over raptors in this stage if you time it right, which saves time and ammo. Shoot past the raptors and drop off the edge to find the T-Rex, then go left past the boxes for rapid-fire and explosive ammo [it can be hard to get back over the T-Rex, so the choice is yours]. Head right and jump for the flare, then swing off the branch above to clear the brush and spikes. Take the rapid-fire ammo and swing off 3 more branches as you get a 1up, then quickly kill the raptor and swing across 3 branches. Roll under the pipes and kill 3 more raptors and swing off the last metal beam to finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E-30) THERE WERE TWO... ############################################################################### This battle has you fighting the T-Rex and there are boxes along the ground. These boxes have flares and flamethrower ammo on your left. The next box is empty and the rest have grenades and flamethrower ammo [the second box from the right is also empty]. You can find a medkit at the far right and the DNA at the far left. There are three pillars with items on them above you. All three items respawn in time, and the items are flares, medkit and explosive ammo from left to right. As far as weapons go, the grenades are pretty useless and the flamethrower works really well. The T-Rex pretty much moves towards you and bites, turning around as needed. You want to fire a flare straight up into the air to distract him, then you can quickly move to where you need to, get items or walk behind him without being damaged. Use your flamethrower from behind until it runs out, then do the same when you get more flamethrower ammo to kill the T-Rex. At this point a second T-Rex appears, so use any flamethrower ammo that you have left.
