Introduction | ****************************************************************************** Hi, I am writing my first FAQ/Walkthrough. To be honest, I had never even heard of this game until I saw it on the FAQ Bounty list for a whopping $40. I hope I did a good job and did a pretty fun game justice. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | Table of Contents | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To navigate this guide, I made a Ctrl+F(Find) system. Controls (C00001)> \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ The controls are very easy in this game. Here are the controls you use to fight. Cross= brings up battle menu, from here you can input strategies, use items, move units, or use skills. R/L= Zoom in or out. D-Pad/Analog Nub= Move screen. /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ < How to Play (HTP001)> \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ Dispatching Units At the start of a stage, units are placed at your HQ, where they defend from attackers. This is important because if your HQ gets captured, you lose. However, you need people to attack an enemy base. To dispatch units from your base, click on your HQ, hit "Dispatch", and place them on any of the blue spaces around you. Moving Units To move units, click on your character and hit "move". They can move to any of the blue spaces around them. Characters who have already moved or have per- formed an action, cannot move again. The characters movement range depends on their MOV stat. Turn Changes To end your turn, hit the Circle button and choose end. When you end your turn, enemies can still attack you, but you cannot move. When you end your turn, the enemy will almost always get a turn next. Variables such as how many actions you have done in a turn, and your characters' SPD stat determine when you will get another turn. Battles To engage in a battle, you must move onto an opponents space during your turn, or an opponent can move onto your space on their turn. Depending on how many units are on that space(1-4), there could be many or few rounds to each battle. The only way to win a battle is to kill the enemy leader. Ways to tell who is leader of the other army is by looking for a unit that looks very different than other units on his team, looking at the enemy health in the top-right corner and checking who is being attacked as it depletes, or by just paying attention to which formation they are using and where the leader would be. To fight, hit Cross, choose "Strat" and choose "Attack" with whomever you want. Formations Formations are where each unit on your team is placed during a battle. Each formation gives a different boost or reduce of stats. You can choose your formation before a fight. You should choose which formation you are using according to who you are fighting with and against. If you are using a very good character and you are fighting a large enemy with no units, I've found that the "Aggressive" formation works well. The "Surround", "Basic", and "Central" formations work pretty well in any situation. Victory/Loss Conditions To win a stage, meet the conditions listed in the "Victory Conditions". To check these, hit Circle and choose "Victory" this almost always includes capturing the opponents HQ(s). Your "Loss Conditions" are almost always allowing your main captain to die and losing your HQ. That's about it, this game is pretty much pick-up-and-play. Some people think it has a pretty large learning curve. I just started out playing by hitting "begin" at each battle and had no trouble, soon I just started trying different things out and I got the hang of it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3. Walkthrough (WLKTH1) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Boot it up, listen to that awe-inspiring PSP "ching-ching" noise, and on with the show. Start the new game and let's begin the journey! Once you hit, "new game", you will be prompted with a screen asking you which journey you would like to take. You can choose which one you want to start with, the Surface World(Aedis), takes longest, and the Divine World(Galadia), is the shortest. If you do not want to start with Greckland, just scroll down to wherever you started. ****************************************************************************** Bottom of the Earth, Greckland(Lower World) (GR0001) ****************************************************************************** You will see a couple of guys talking about darkness, and other good vs. evil stuff. It will end at "The souls of the Otherworld!" and leave you at a load- ing screen. A man sounding like an army soldier is anbushed in a forest and calls for backup. That person, Lipton is killed. A lieutenant named Hank radios to his crew to inform them of the casualty. ============================================================================== Part 1, Lower World ============================================================================== In school, kids learn about a battle-suit called a Cyber Suit and talk about how much they want one. A rich girl pulls in from a limo, with trumpeteers playing for her. A butler wishes her a good day. The kids inside know that the trumpets can only mean 1 thing, that a rich girl named Keri has arrived. As she walks in the room, an alarm goes off and everybody has to evacuate. The reason behind this is that the Cyber units that attacked Lipton are heading towards the city, and they need to send everybody to shelter. Gon and Quinn are excited to hear that the new suit is unidentified, so they leave the group to go and see it. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 1, Gaddom (GCH001) ______________________________________________________________________________ This is a character select screen, but since you only have 2 people, and they are already on there, just hit (Start) and get playing. This stage is sort of like a tutorial, just follow what they say, and if you don't get it, check out the "How To Play" section of the FAQ. After it, the boys talk about how tough it is, when Keri butts in, saying that she heard that they planned on going to Valeris Forest to check out the new Cyber Suit. She says that she is going with them. They go there and see that there is another big beetle thing there, and Keri adds in(for the sake of tutorials), that enemies who are on a panel of there affiliation get a big boost in power. I've never worried about that and I've barely ever died in this game. If you don't want to take the chance of dying avoid enemies on their own element's blocks. She explains that each element has a sort of anti-element. They are pretty easy to figure out for yourself. EX: Wind>Earth, Water>Fire. She explains "Jurisdiction", again, nothing really mandatory, but if you worry about the little things, go ahead and do what she says. Change the Yellow Hornet's panel to wind, and send somebody to attack him. You will probably level up, place the bonus stats wherever you feel like it. End your turn, Keri explains HQs(in How to Play). Blah, blah, blah. Attack the guy in the Cyber Suit and have somebody go in and take their HQ. Congrats on beating your first stage. You see a girl absolutely pwn some new Cyber Suit guy. Quinn and the others run in and think its cool. A building blows up and part of it hits Quinn. He goes to a hospital where a handicapped girl talks to him. Her name is Alice. Some bald guy comes in and throws Quinn out. It skips to a throneroom with some evil king who is pursuing something called the Lilian Memory. Gon tells Quinn of a new force headed towards Mugles. Quinn is excited to hear that and decides to go even though he isn't fully healed. Here is your first World Map screen, here you can save, change equips, items, use bonus EXP, check your status, etc. You can't do all of these things yet, so for now, just save and enter the next area. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 2, Gaddom (GCH002) ______________________________________________________________________________ You can use 7 characters for this fight. There are 3 event characters, Quinn, Gon, and Keri. There is no real reason to have 7 spots because you can only have 3 characters so far. Quinn and Keri talk about where to go, as they are lost. Gon explains the "Explore" command, which is very useful because you can get secret characters with it. You can't lose at this, so just explore Mugles. It goes into a story scene, where Quinn bumps into the person who he saw when he get hit with the building part. She decides to take them back to town. Just as they leave, they see a Blue Beetle. She explains to them the use of Defenders. They just protect your HQ so enemies can't take it over. Once the talking is over, dispatch somebody so he/she can go and fight the beetle. The fight is almost unloseable. End your turn and new enemies appear, Mary explains recharging health. you just wait at your base and your units, SP, and health will recharge. When she is done talking, send somebody to go and fight at the cave. Again, extremely easy. She explains changing eqiupment, which you can only do when you have a captain at an HQ. Optimize your equipment, as she says, and send somebody to fight the next enemy. This is the first time there is actually 2 rounds, but both enemies can be killed easily without losing a unit, so it's no big deal. After you kill them, end your turn and another path appears. Head into another battle. It is another easy 2 part fight, but now you can use skills if you want to. They will finish the battle instantly, plus skills usually look pretty cool. End the turn and a ton of new paths appear. He explains Exclusive Panels, which are the little panels with a certain emblem that you can only walk over if you have the same affiliation. You will rarely have to walk over them so it's not a big deal. Take whichever path you feel like to the enemy HQ. Fight the enemy(s), end your turn, and... yet another path appears. Mary explains how persuasion works. Just send somebody in to go and take their HQ so you can get this easy and boring stage over with. Some guy walks in and tells the president that the Zevans Kingdom is under attack. On the World Map, hit Circle and there will be 2 new options on the main menu. "Equip" and "Arrange". Save, optimize your equipment, and head to the next level. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 3, Wautuck (GCH003) ______________________________________________________________________________ You can use 5 captains for this battle. Mary talks to some guy using the radio for help. He says his name is Lieutenant Hank and that he is under attack. Do as they say and use Mary to reach Arlum and have the others move their via the port. Have Hank move to reach Arlum. Next turn, use Mary to go over the fire panel in front of her and onto Derikine. Move Quinn, Keri and Gon closer to the enemy HQ, Nuntem. Next turn, use Mary to explore Derikine to get Valzoa. Have Quinn, Keri, and Gon move in on Nuntem, and finally capture it. The enemies are not too hard. Once you take the HQ, you clear the stage. It skips to a scene on the battlefield where Mary and Hank kill some robots. Hank and Mary intoduce themselves. Hank said he was attacked during an escort mission and you see that the person he is escorting is Alice, the handicapped girl. Since Hank and Alice are heading towards Gurbach, they decide to go with Quinn and his friends. Quinn explains partners to Keri, and when you reach the World Map, the "Partner" command opens up. Save and go to Chapter 4. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 4, Cook Road (GCH004) ______________________________________________________________________________ You reach an orphanage that Hank's wife runs. He invites them in. You see Hank's wife talking to the kids and telling them of a story about the Devil King who lived long ago. Hank almost steps on a flower when his wife stops him. They go inside to talk about the enemies. His wife tells him that the enemy Cyber Suits are headed this way, so they decide to head out and fight them. You can use 7 units, but 5 of them are event characters, so that really means you can only use 2 of your choice. The plan is to take over Krowne, explore to find a railroad, and beat the enemy to Bruze. You just have to defend your HQ and Bruze for 15 turns. Just send everybody out to Krowne as quickly as you can. If you want to, you can use valzoa to go by the Kahd Star Base because he can jump up to to the panel with the treasure chest and reach Bruze very quickly. At Krowne, just keep exploring with each person there and they will be taken to Bruze. From here, just keep on ending your turn and defending Bruze until you clear the stage. If you have a good enough team and don't feel like waiting for all the turns to pass, you can just go an take over the enemy HQ and it will be over instantly. Either way, congrats. Hank almost killed the guy, but made him leave instead because the flower was underneath him, and he thought his wife would be mad if he got blood on it. They return home into their little circle to talk, again. Hank tells them that the reason everybody is attacking is because they are after the girl. She holds the Liliam Memory. Keri is skeptical about there being other worlds, but Quinn believes the story. Alice tells them that she has been told that the Demon King was never actually killed, just weakened and that, as holder of Lilian's Memory, she can open the Otherworld Tower. She shows Quinn and his friends Lilian's Mirror and explains that it is a Soul Vessel. She gives it to Quinn. The reinforcements come to take care of Alice. They tell Hank of his orders to take a letter and deliver it to the Lodion Empire. It is a request to ask for help from their military. Back at the World Map, the Shop becomes availbale for usage. Save and go to... ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 5, Mywar (GCH005) ______________________________________________________________________________ Keri picks on Gon and calls him a chicken. It then skips to 2 soldiers named Junka and Natalie. They just talk about their orders and war and such. Quinn bumps into Junka, and Lilian's Mirror drops. When they leave, Gon remarks that they were from the Destreid Army, the ones who are trying to attack them. Quinn thinks of the idea to go after them. The person from before talks to the President again. Jules offers to go protect the messenger with the military request, and his mom, the President, tells him not to worry about it. You can use 10 units for this, but I doubt you have that many. Junka talks about avoiding conflicts. You see Mary and Hank, you can use them for this battle, but they are on the opposite side of the battlefield. This stage has a very easy trick to it, on the first turn, move 2 of your people on the top as far as they will go down. Move Quinn, Gon, and Keri to the Star Base right in front of them. Terraform the space in front of them with your worst fighter of the 3. Use the other 2 to kill whoever is left in the opponent's HQ(there should only be 1-2 people left there, the others should have moved towards Hank or whomever you sent from the top). They talk about knocking down the bridge or whatever, don't worry about that and just take the HQ with Quinn's team, the stage should be over in 2 turns. They reach Lodion Castle, and Keri recognizes Jules, the son of the President. Hank and Mary go in to give the letter to the President, and have the kids wait outside. They come out giving the news that they agreed to send out military units for aid. They find out that the Destreid Army is after Alice, and the Lilian's Memory. Quinn, Gon, and Keri go back to school because Hank and Mary say that they should go because the war is starting. Quinn and Gon decide to go to Destreid and do something with Lilian's Memory to end the war so people won't be killed. Keri overhears them and decides to go with them It skips to a room with Junka and Natalie, she tells Junka about orders to seek Lilian's Mirror, and they realize that it was the one that Quinn dropped when he ran into them. In the World Map, the "Class" and "EXP" options appear. Distribute all of the bonus EXP you have received so far. Prepare, Save, and head off to... ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 6, Alkina (GCH006) ______________________________________________________________________________ Keri complains about walking the whole way, when Junka and Natalie come up and asks for the mirror. They refuse to give it to him and run away. A soldier informs Hank that the Destreid Army is near Gurbach, and they are chasing after civilians. Hank realizes that the people are Quinn and his friends and sends out troops to help them, and he decides to lead the rescue. He also tells them to get in touch with Mary to help. You can use 10 troops for this, the 3 friends are Event characters, so you can't take them out. Hank and Mary are out on the battlefield, so don't forget to use them. Defeat Junka and take over the enemy HQ to beat the stage. Just send everything you've got towards their HQ. Its a pretty easy stage, doesn't really need a strategy going into it. Make sure to stop at the Jeumona Star Base to get my favorite character, Taerdus. So, just keep sending people at their HQ and take it over to clear the stage. When you clear it, the kids meet up with Mary and Hank, and Quinn explains that they are after the mirror. Back at Zevans, some rich people decide to hand Alice over to Destreid because that is what they want and they might end the war if they hand her over. Just as Hank starts to object, a soldier runs in saying that Destreid's airships are attacking Cook Road. The leaders decide that they are doomed, so they should start building defense for Gurbach. Hank is outraged, and decides to go and help them himself. Quinn tells the news to Mary and the others and they decide to go help Hank. Back at Cook Road, the citizens are told to run because the enemy is attacking with airships. A soldier informs the president that Destreid is attacking a lot of people airships and she decides to send them reinforcements. Jules says that he is going too, and his mother stops him. Against her will, Jules leaves to fight. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 7, Cook Road (GCH007) ______________________________________________________________________________ Here, Jules becomes a member, and the boss is Magdalene. Just send everything you've got at the enemy HQ. Again, not really much strategy involved. If you have Valzoa, have him head straight to the Kahd Star Base and explore to find Lululala. Other than that, just send Jules at the enemy base quickly because he is level 9, and send everything else there. Just keep on attacking until you take it, and when you take it, you will have completed the stage. After you win, Keri meets Jules and he explains why he is out on the battle- field. Hank rushes into the house to find his wife and the kids dead. He is heartbroken. He won't speak to anybody. When Mary gets him to talk, he says he is going to Destreid to kill them all. He leaves and Quinn, Mary, and the others leave to help him. Go to... ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 8, Klantz (GCH008) ______________________________________________________________________________ Natalie is spying on a person named Darwin, who is undergoing a ritual. A soldier reports to the rich leaders that Hank is disobeying orders and is heading toward Destreid. They decide to just stand back and watch. You can use 20 units for this battle, so use all that you've got. You come to a stage where Hank is waiting in the middle, angerred, and Magdalene decides to use demons to kill him. On this stage, send out units to wait in the star base in front of the enemy HQ. There will be many yeti enemies there, and they are very difficult to kill so don't get cocky. If any of your people die, just use the next person to fight. If you need to, try and take over the base way on the top of the stage to use in case your characters are dying or running low on units or SP. Make sure to heal with your units that are dying, not just hoping that you can come out on top because you might not have enough good characters left to kill Magdalene if you just hope to get lucky. Magdalene is actually pretty easy though. She only has 4500 health, and dies rather quickly. Take over their HQ and clear the stage. Magdalene, who is very injured is wondering why they would mess up their deal. He wonders what deal they are talking about, and she tells them that they decided to hand over Alice, saying that their leaders were the ones who thought up the idea. She explains that the leaders decided that they would be angered if they just handed over the girl, but if she went as a sacrifice, their anger would turn to sadness if a powerful event were to happen. The leaders planned the destruction of Cook Road in order to appease the people. Hank stabs Magdalene, and she jumps off the cliff holding onto him, and they both die. Sends a good message to the kids, kill badly injured people who were told by the government to kill people. And if you are the person being killed, instead of being sympathetic, kill that person back. The team stands regretfully at Hank and his family's gravesite. Quinn plans on going to Destreid to avenge Hank and to stop Alice from being taken. They ask Jules to come with them, but he has to go back to his mother. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 9, Tepan (GCH009) ______________________________________________________________________________ Mary tells the kids to be ready as they are enterring enemy territory. Junka comes and explains to them, that he, and some other Destreid troops disagree with what they are doing. He tells them that Darwin is to blame for the war when Natalie walks in, injured. She falls to the ground and faints. When she regains consciousness, she tells Junka that Darwin was the person who caused her injuries. She tells them that he was making the Blood Pact, a ritual which allows you to summon the Demon King, Mugen. They explain that Darwin's ancestors are people involved in Mugen Sects, people who believed that human extinction was righteous. Gon mentions the idea of Natalie and Junka joining their team. They decide that they can go, as it is not against the law to investigate anybody who has been accused of genocide. Jules returns to his mom and she is upset that he would leave her. She confirms the idea that she looks at Jules as a replacement for his father, Selon. You can use 10 units for this battle. Darwin is the boss here. There are a ton of demons fighting in this battle, so I suggest you just take a fort and keep ending your turn as enemies attack. As the enemy HQ starts to run out of captains, make your move. Send everybody in to attack, use all the SP, items and whatever else you want to. Attack with everybody. If you need to recharge, send new units in, and the hurt ones back to a fort and use as many turns as needed to get back to full health. As you start progressing towards Darwin, watch out for the angel and dragon cannons, they will lower, if not completely deplete your unit count. Have many captains ready to defend as you recharge your units. At the 5th turn, Jules comes to help. If you are having trouble by the enemy HQ, construct a hospital to help regenerate units each turn. Move in, defeat Darwin, and take over the HQ to clear the stage. Darwin is in disbelief that he lost. Darwin tells them of why he did the Blood Pact. He plans on expelling humans from the world. Only then will he please his Demon King, Mugen. Darwin tells them that the Emperor is, in fact, Mugen. Darwin is shocked to hear that. A soldier comes and shoots Darwin to death. He falls, and the soldier keeps shooting him in the face. He walks away like nothing happens and Jules runs in. Jules confirms that it is one of his soldiers and Mary gets angry because he killed Darwin, their prisoner. He didn't know of any problem with him. Head to chapter 10. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 10, Judeon (GCH010) ______________________________________________________________________________ You can use 20 units for this battle. The person who killed Darwin is now on your team. His name is Black Knight. There are 4 HQs on this stage. The boss is Galcion. I suggest that you send 2-3 good characters at the bottom and fight as long as it takes till the HQ doesn't have many captains there anymore. Work your way in and take it over. Send your captains back to your HQ to recharge SP, health, and units. They also can protect it from being taken over. When ready, head to the HQ on the right side of the screen. Keep slowly advancing until you reach an altar. Build a hospital there that you can use as a fort when enemies attack. If you don't want to do that, an easy way to capture the HQ is to lure enemies out, and then use Valzoa to go into the HQ. I snuck in when every enemy was trying to fight, so I just instantly destroyed their army. After recharging, head to the HQ on the left side. Work your way into Bavalosk and explore to find Sicily. Work your way in and fight to take over the HQ. Now you can direct all 5 of your actions towards the top. Send everything you've got at Galcion. He is not very hard, he only has 5200 HP. Kill him, take the HQ, and clear the stage. Galcion dies giving praise to Mugen. Before he dies, he tells them that they were trying to kill Alice. Quinn gets angered by this discovery and decides to set out and find her to see if she is okay. Right after he finished talking a soldier rushes in giving news of an assault at Gurbach. He tells them that the enemy is the Lodion Army. The President talks to a guard, saying that she is trying to obtain the Lilian Memory so she can reach heaven. Go to... ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 11, Greinous (GCH011) ______________________________________________________________________________ The team goes onto the battlefield to see Jules' mom, and she tells them that she went to battle because she is trying to procure Lilian's Memory. She found Alice, and will not release her. She tells them that she's already on her way to Lodion. Keri thinks of an idea, to have Jules go back with his mother and get information about Alice. Jules agrees and heads off to Lodion. You can use 10 units for this battle, and there is only 1 HQ to take over. The kind of stage that I like. In the very beginning, send your units to take over Wester Town. Use that as your new base in case you have to recharge. Once you get your captains there, just rush the enemy HQ, you will most likely come out on top. The Black Knight guy almost kills another injured soldier, but stops because a flower is underneath them. That's right.........a flower. Deja Vu? Jules confronts his mother about Alice and she tells him that she will lead them to the Surface World. She wishes to go there because there are plentiful resources there. He says that he is going to take her back, and she calls the guards on her own son to take him to his room and not let him out. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 12, Gerpbez (GCH012) ______________________________________________________________________________ Quinn sees the "Black Knight" and questions if he is Hank. He takes off his helmet and confirms that he is Hank. He said that when he almost died, a Lodion soldier rescued him so he joined their army to fight against the government that killed his wife and children. Quinn tells Hank that he fights for his friends(heh, had to add that in, I like Ike and Roy's my boy), and Hank fights for revenge. Hank tells them that he will not fight for them. The boss for this battle is Hank. This stage is easy, but it takes forever to get to the enemy HQ. Also, they have tripmines layed out on the stage that you run into and they kill your troops. When you finally get there, just attack with everybody, the stage shouldn't be too hard. Even Hank is easy. Hank is defeated and wonders how love can overcome hatred. He tells Quinn that Alice is being held at Lodion castle and that Dutei wants to use her power to reach the Surface World. He dies thinking about his wife. Back at the castle, Jules knocks out the person guarding his room. He goes to see Alice and takes her to meet Quinn and his friends. The scientist there tells Jules that he is a clone of his father, Selon. Go to Lodion. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 13, Lodion (GCH013) ______________________________________________________________________________ You can use 15 units on this stage. They arrive on the battlefield and meet up with Jules and Alice. Jules asks his mother if it is true that he a clone of his father. She tells him that he is not and sends guards to take Quinn and his friends. The boss on this stage is Jules' mother, Dutei. Send everybody up the path to the right side of Mirka Town, take the Star Base and just keep fighting until the enemies fall. Work your way in, beat Dutei, and take the HQ. Not really a strategy stage. Dutei forgets that she is talking to Jules, and asks "Selon" what his dream was. Why he wanted to go to the Surface World. She says that she just wanted to help Selon's dream come true. Jules learns that he will eventually die from the disease his father had. The only way to cure it is the sun from the Surface World. Back at school, the friends discuss the end of the war. Quinn decides to go to the Surface World to kill the Demon King and end the war. Gon and Keri offer to go with him. A soldier tells Mary that the Minister of Defense wishes to speak with her. Quinn meets up with Alice and she tells him that if she takes the mirror to the Otherworld Tower to go to the Surface World and find 2 ancient relics that will lead them to Mugen. They plan to meet at the Otherworld Tower to go to the Surface World once they recruit Mary. Gon goes to talk to her. They all meet at the Otherworld Tower Alice opens the gates. The Minister of Defense comes and decides to head up. Mary goes up with them, and the kids are left behind as the gates close. Jules comes, realizing that he was too late. Lilian's Mirror starts to glow and then it opens up the gates for them. ============================================================================== Part 2, Surface World ============================================================================== Go to Galhara. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 1, Galhara (GCH014) ______________________________________________________________________________ When they reach the Surface World, they realize that the town right near the Otherworld Tower is on fire. They go investigate. An injured soldier tells them they went toward Hero's grave, where Grutor is buried, and one of the 3 ancient relics(called Soul Vessels) is located. They see the fat rich leader on the battlefield, and he tells them that they attacked the village because they needed suplies and troops. The boss for this stage is Mary. Send all of your characters that aren't of normal affiliation up-right, send 1 person to Lusone, and the rest to go around and fight Mary. Explore at Lusone to find Borgon. Take the Star Base in front of their HQ and defend it as enemies try to attack you. When most of them are defeated, attack the HQ to take it over, and you have beaten the stage. You find out that Mary was the enemy for that fight because she was trying to protect you from the rest of the army, which was after them because they committed treason. The government said that they kidnapped the Lilian Memory and plotted with Hank. Mary joins your team, and the crew heads for... ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 2, Galhara (GCH015) ______________________________________________________________________________ Mary tells them that the army is after Grutor's Necklace. She tells them that they are after the Surface World, and the Divine World. You can use 20 units. They see Alice at the grave. First, take the HQ to the left. Stop about a space or 2 in front of the HQ, and end your turn. Wait for the zombies to come after you, and just keep on fighting them off. When the number of enemies in the HQ starts to deplete, head in and take it over. Next turn, explore in the Magician's Grave to find Marmilla. When you get her, send whoever you need to back to recharge, then take over the HQ to the right. Same strategy as last time, just wait till they come out to fight and then kill them. Take it over, recharge your health. Get all the units ready to fight and work your way up. Go to the Look Out Post 2 Tower and explore to find Gatrei and Sylvia. Finally, attack the top HQ and beat the level. Mary realizes that they found the vessel in the Surface World and left to get the vessel in the Divine World. ============================================================================== Part 3, Divine World ============================================================================== Save and head to Bambagaro. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 1, Bambagaro (GCH016) ______________________________________________________________________________ They arrive and discover that the Divine World is 2 separate areas, Heaven and Hell. This is a fun stage, as it is only a straight line. Demons attack and you must fight back. They have no units, but are big and have 14000+ health. Just work your way into the HQ and fight with everything, this is a short stage where there really isn't much of a strategy. If you can't kill them, check out the "Tips" section. Take the HQ. Quinn's mirror starts to glow, and tells him where the Soul Vessel is. Go to Chapter 2. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 2, Runedell (GCH017) ______________________________________________________________________________ Jules' disease starts acting up, and he tells Keri not to tell the others about it and that he will be okay. You can use 20 units for this battle. If you want to, you can get Elena on this stage by going to Mekous, exploring, and then walking across the dark path with anybody who has a dark affiliation. I suggest sending as many people as you want to the Open Land left of your HQ. Next turn, terraform a path to go across and work your way up to the Angel Gunnar. Kill him and attack the HQ. While doing this, make sure to leave good people back to defend your HQ. The Angel Gunnar sometimes moves out of the way, and most enemies move to your HQ by the other path. When I got there, there were only 3 enemies left, and I hadn't even gotten into a fight yet. Take the HQ and win it. The Minister runs, and you find Alice. Lilian possesses Alice and tells them that they must defeat Mugen to find peace. They decide to go and defeat Mugen to bring peace to the world. ============================================================================== Part 4, Forlusion World ============================================================================== Save and go to the World of Zen. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 1, World of Zen (GCH018) ______________________________________________________________________________ This stage is pretty hard, there are 4 HQs, all with Wyverns. I suggest attacking the left HQ first, as it is closest. If you are using Valzoa, you can reach it and take it over on the first turn. Use the method where you wait outside the HQ and then take the chance to take it over as the amount of enemies inside the HQ start to be reduced. Watch out for the Wyvern Kings at each HQ, they are pretty hard. Just work your way around to all the HQs with the same strategy, lure them out and keep fighting while the base recharges your HP and the end of each turn. Be patient and smart and you should beat this stage without a problem. Jules' disease worsens, and he is adamant about staying because he wants to use his time left on the world to help everybody. Prepare and go to the second last chapter. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 2, Mystic World (GCH019) ______________________________________________________________________________ They see the Mugen, and he says that he is going to destroy Alice because he senses Lilian's spirit within her. You start the battle, and it is a small stage again, the kind I like. The only enemies are Mugen and 2 ogres. I suggest that you take one of the star bases and wait for the ogres to come out so you can kill them. Then, recharge your health, sp, and units, and attack Mugen. This stage should end quickly. They see Mugen fall and get excited, but spirits rise out of his body to reveal his true form. The Minister comes and he gets posessed by Mugen. He runs away and the team chases after him. ______________________________________________________________________________ Final Chapter, Shadow World (GCH020) ______________________________________________________________________________ The boss is the Minister being posessed by Mugen. He has 34000 health. Just keep attacking him with everything you've got, retreat if you are ever about to die and send in the next person. Just slowly work away at his health and you will soon beat this scenario. CONGRATS, YOU JUST BEAT THE 2ND LONGEST SCENARIO IN THE GAME! ****************************************************************************** Nature's Green Wonder, Aedis(Surface World) (A00001) ****************************************************************************** You will see a couple of guys talking about darkness, and other good vs. evil stuff. It will end at "The souls of the Otherworld!" and leave you at a load- ing screen. You are now introduced to Raph and Fi, 2 very important characters in the game. Raph is planning on going to the Otherworld Tower. They leave the balcony and proceed into the building, where Fi meets her brother, Steiner. All three of them decide to go. They found an old coin on the ground when they get there and Fi gives it to Raph. When he returns, Raph hears something com- ing from the city, so he looks outside and sees a cliche city being attacked and burned. Vermillion and Raph escape, and you are treated to an animated intro video. ============================================================================== Part I, Surface World ============================================================================== You start out on the boat that you seem to have escaped the the burning city from. You are introduced to a couple of new characters, "Captain"(who insists on being called captain and nothing else), Liza, Herault, and the supremely annoying Duo. You finally get to see a battle screen as Herault talks about going to Laurid. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 1, Coarse Bay (ACH001) ______________________________________________________________________________ "Monsters" attack a lady and you are there for nothing elsethan to help. Click on the town, hit "Dispatch" and send somebody to the 2nd block you can reach, the one with a star on it. This enemy is easily defeated. To win, just hit "Strat->All->Attack". Also, you can hit "Skill" and choose whichever you want. You will level at the end of the battle and you can put your bonus stats on whatever you please. End your turn and you will have cleared the stage. The Zemoran Army comes to arrest Captain, while Duo, Heralut, and Liza sit back and watch, even though they could have just helped because they would have outnumbered the soldiers by quite a few men. Steiner comes and the heroes are shocked. You find out that Captain used to be leader of the Zemoran navy. After talking for a while about routes and such, you will be placed in your next battle. Dispatch all characters that need it, and send somebody to the Fortna Light- house. Use the same easy strategy as last time and you should come out victorious. The enemy will send out troops from their town, so try and advance quickly as you can. If your characters are low on health, send them to one of the bases around the stage and have them wait there for a couple of turns. If, after a fight, it says you have captured a soldier, it does not mean that he is now fighting on your side. You must persuade him to fight for you by clicking on the site where he was captured, hitting Prisoner, and then persuade him. The easiest way to do this is to place one of your characters on that site because it will give a higher % of success rate. I find it easiest if you defeat all the enemies, and then use as many turns as it takes to recruit the people. If you defeat an enemy and capture a new one at a site that is not a base, choose your character, click add, and then go to a base and recruit them the same way as before. Reach the base in the top- left corner, defeat the boss, and you have cleared your first real stage! Now you get your bonuses. When you reach the world map, make sure to shop for the best equipment each of your captains can get. Also, use your bonus exp. by hitting (O) and then choosing "EXP". Save and do whatever else you need to do and then move on to the next stage, Maltis Plain. Some dialog plays and you reach... ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 2, Maltis Plain (ACH002) ______________________________________________________________________________ You move straight into a battle, and put in as many captains as you can. Some fat guy is bothering a little girl so you gotta go fight him. One easy strat- egy you can use to beat this stage, is to move allie to Demohra, and dispatch your 3 main captains there, wait for the big boss fat guy to attack, kill him, and then send out whoever you think is your best character in the square in front of Demohra. I used Liza and she killed 3-4 enemies and then they ended their turn, so it should work for you, just make sure not to die with your captain. Then, return to your base to persuade any enemies you have captured. Make sure to explore the Yerwa Lighthouse Tower as it gives a secret character named Valzoa. He is good and comes with a rare weapon worth 20000 currency. Finally, send out some of your captains to go and capture the enemy base. There will be at least a 2-round fight, possibly more. It seems that the nun is the hardest opponent. I came into the knight battle with 1500 health with Liza, and won the battle with 1200, with only a couple soldiers remaining. This stage should not be too big of a trouble, as it was quite easy. The captains talk to Allie some more. You find out that both your crew and Allie are headed for Laurid, so she is now one of your main captains. Prepare for the next stage by using your bonus exp. It would not be wise to level all captains to the max they can get. Just try leveling your 4 mains(Duo, Herault, Liza, and Allie) and 1 other person you have recruited. Buy any new equips you want. I would suggest that you get to level 6 with your main captains before going to Chapter 3. Once you are finished, head to... ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 3, Gaubalia (ACH003) ______________________________________________________________________________ Once you arrive, you see Princess Fiona(Fi, remember?), and there are a ton of security guards around. Herault makes a comment about her growing into such a beauty. GEE, I WONDER HOW HE KNOWS HER. I guess that will have to wait for later in the game. The first time, move your 5 recruited captains(side captains; not main) as far as they can go along the left path. End your turn. Next turn, Valzoa should be able to reach the enemies' first tent. Have him attack. Move 3 characters down the fiery path and 1 on the high path, all the way to the right. Use the per- son that you sent to the right to explore the Yeshere Star Base. You will get a secret character named Taerdus. He looks exactly like Alucard from Castle- vania: Symphony of the Night. From there, you should be able to finish the stage without a problem. If you choose to try and play the game at it's hardest without using Valzoa, use whatever strategy you want. That will add more difficulty for you. Beat the bosses, they are quite easy. Buy whatever you need from the shop, level grind if you want to, save, do whatever. Then, move on to... ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 4, Galhara (ACH004) ______________________________________________________________________________ It starts out with Fiona singing a song that songs almost exactly like that one song from "The Titanic", except in a different language. Steiner tries to convince Fiona to stop thinking about Raph because they killed him 10 years ago. Winged men plan to attack the Zemorans, but they won't let a girl who hopes to fight join in. A quick and easy way to beat this stage is just to send your fastest guy(probably Valzoa) out to Lusone Town, where the girl who wasn't allowed to fight is at. Defeat her, persuade her, and then explore in Lusone Town to find a secret character named Borgon. While doing this, move the rest of your team left along the wall into the town on the left side of the stage. You will have gotten everything on the stage that is useful, and have finished in about 5 turns. That is, if you get pretty lucky recruiting the girl. Liza and Allie go into the prison to rescue Captain while Duo walks into a room with Fiona in it. He sees her and she tells them where Captain is and that he took care of her as a child. She believes that Duo and his crew are good people. Herault tries to kill Fiona because she is princess of Zemora, and he believes that they are ruining the world. Duo saves her, and Captain decides to go to Zemora and plea with the king to stop what he is doing. Fiona asks to go with them and Captain allows her to. She leaves a farewell note for Steiner to read. Steiner decides to head to Zemora to stop Fiona from talking to the king because his mind is "demented". Now you have a choice to go to the Abbalon Mountain or Mt. Daru. For the sake of this walkthrough, choose Abbalon Mountain. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 5, Mount Abbalon (ACH005) ______________________________________________________________________________ You can use 15 units on this one, I doubt you have more than 15 that are use- ful, anyways. The quickest way to clear this stage is to use 5 main captains and send them all to the bottom-right base(the turtle one), and just keep on fighting until you can take over the base. The only real threat there is a giant turtle that does a ton of damage. The reason I said 5 main captains is because if you send the other captains, they get captured whereas if you fight with main captains and they die, you just get them back next stage. If somebody dies, don't worry about it. Just take over the base, send out however many people you need, and go take over the top one. I suggest just sending everybody along the water path in the middle and working your way past the enemies into the base. There are no real tough enemies there, so just send anybody in, capture the base, and view your rewards. You see Allie, but now she's grown up. You find out that it was a curse that a dark god put on her. At nights, the curse wears out. The dark god, Mugen, is controlling the King of Zemora, so they set out to talk to him. Do all you need to to prepare and head off to ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 6, Mount Abbalon 2 (ACH006) ______________________________________________________________________________ A guy gets bit by a werewolf, and the only way to prevent him from becoming a werewolf himself is by having him drink the blood of the wolf that bit him. In this, I believe that you can either fail, clear, or half-clear this while still continuing with the story. If you fail you get him at his most powerful form(as a werewolf), if you kill him after the bell rings 3 times, he becomes a werewolf only at night, and if you kill him before the bell rings 3 times, you get him as a human. Your choice. The easiest way to clear it is to just send your fastest person to go into the village and kill the werewolf, and 4 more people just waiting outside of your base(just to kill random enemies, and to be closer to the werewolf in case your other guy dies. Kill the werewolf and receive your rewards if you so choose. Since this stage is kind of optional to beat, I'll just leave the decision to you. If you saved him, you will receive both Artos and Anne Marie after the stage with a much more happy team joining scene than if you failed. Prepare, save, do whatever. Head to the next stage. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 7, Dorand (ACH007) ______________________________________________________________________________ It shows a scene where Mugen orders the king to kill the one with an untainted heart. Then it skips straight to preparing for battle. You can only use 10 units for this one. So choose your favorites/best captains. When you start it, you see that Steiner is on the field. To get Lululala, send somebody to Roan town, and explore. Send 4 other people down the lower path to try and get to Steiner. If he moves, just head straight for their base. To avoid people attacking you and killing your people, keep them all on the same block to avoid getting the same person attacked many times. If Steiner attacks your tent, you should be able to absolutely destroy him, even if your characters are underleveled. After you defeat Steiner, head straight for the base to clear the stage. There are many people there, so if you must, keep a few extra people near the base so that if your attacker dies, you can just keep on sending in new ones. You should be able to finish this stage very quickly as there aren't many enemies that will get in your way. Once you have completed the stage, Steiner comes and tells Fiona that he will not let her continue on to see the king as he is no longer the man he used to be. Herault speaks up, and not even Steiner remembers who he is. He announces that is Vermillion's son, Jeliah, and Fiona and Steiner are shocked. She realizes that the family that Herault has been talking about that has been killed by Zemorah is Vermillion and his wife. Duo convinces Steiner to see for himself, and he joins your team. Prepare for the next battle, and set off to.. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 8, Dorand (ACH008) ______________________________________________________________________________ The team reaches the throne and talks to the king. Fiona begs him to stop the "pointless bloodshed". Allie speaks up to him, and the king is shocked that she survived his curse. Steiner comes to the realization that his father is really being posessed by Mugen. Mugen takes complete control of the king, and Duo saves Fiona from Mugen's attack. They leave to regroup. This stage allows 20 units to fight. Choose your units and start the stage. This is a pretty long stage, so you don't want to screw up and have to start it over. Send 1 troop down to reach Adel town as quickly as you can. Send 4 to go and fight the king. When you can, explore Adel town and recruit Haratorte and Nahnila. Use 1 of your 4 troops on the right side to fight the king. His low health can be deceiving, as he does quite a bit of damage and has a ton of defense. If you need to, keep units close-by incase of a loss. When you defeat Zendrel, send your 4 units back to your HQ. Use the troop you sent down to Adel, Nahnila, and Haratorte to take over the enemy HQ at the bottom of the stage. Use the troops you sent back to your HQ, or other troops you had that were still left at the HQ to take over the enemy HQ at the top. There are very many enemies around there, so keep sending new people up so the units fighting can rest at the bases. Finally, work your way up to the top and take over the base. Once you have taken over all the bases, you have cleared the stage. The king is in pain and Fiona feels sorry for him. Steiner states that he is no longer her father. The King wants Steiner to kill him. He tells them that he was cursed by Mugen. He tells them that the king and queen of Laurid are still alive. Steiner kills his father against Fiona's wishes to rid the curse of Mugen before it takes control of his body once more. Just before he dies, he tells them to seek an ancient Laurid artifact that Mugen fears above all else. When ready, head to... ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 9, Dorand (ACH009) ______________________________________________________________________________ *****************************HUGE SPOILER************************************* You found out Duo was Raph. I'm sure you all were shocked to see that Herault wasn't Raph. Once I heard him call her "Fi" *****************************END HUGE SPOILER********************************* Raph tells Jeliah(Herault) that his father, Vermillion is still alive. Herault and Liza are having trouble adapting to the fact that Raph was a prince. And with no conflict or anything being told, they leave you at the captain select screen. 10 units allowed, choose whomever you want. It starts you out on a battlefield by Zetonia Prison, where Duo's parents are being held. To complete the stage, capture that prison. Send 5 people along the path down the bottom. Have them capture the Watchdog House that is being controlled by the Zemora Army. Once they has finished with the capture, send 1 of them up the path above that to head to the Bateur Star Base. There, have him explore to find Xena and Zio. While that person is moving to recruit them, use the other 4 people to attack the prison. Have them move together to form a tent in case of an attack, and keep working your way to the prison. In the prison, are 4 enemies, all extremely easy. They all use magic and have only 2600 health, except for the last one which is a valkyrie with 3900 health. Shouldn't be too big of a problem. They seem to give a lot of exp, as I leveled with a level 12 twice fighting them. The enemies you face might change depending on if you released them or executed them. If you know you are never going to want an enemy captain, execute them so you don't have to fight them later in the game. Captain the prison, clear the stage, watch the scene. Liza goes into the prison and finds a door. She calls for Duo, and they all head in. Raph finds his mother and father, and his mother has gone blind. His father tells him of a "tool" that they can use to fight Mugen with. He tells of 4 heroes that fought Mugen. 1 of these heroes perished and the other 3 went to the 3 different worlds(Get it? The 3 worlds in the game, Surface, Lower, and Divine worlds). The tool he was referring to is the Soul Vessel. It carries the souls of the 3 heroes that survived the fight against Mugen. There are 3 items they must gather, the Necklace of Grutor, Lilian's Mirror, and Gefault's Holy Grail. Prepare and save. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 10, Galhara (ACH010) ______________________________________________________________________________ The team sets off to find the Necklace of Grutor. You can use 20 units on this stage. Send 2 units down both the left and right paths. Use them to take over the Warrior's Grave and the Magician's Grave. At the Magician's Grave, explore to find Marmilla. After you take over the Warrior's Grave, move your 2 characters forward to try and reach the Lookout Post 2. Explore there to find the secret characters, Sylvia and Gatrei. Once you get Sylvia and Gatrei, move them and your other 2 characters to take over the last HQ. Here, they have an actually pretty hard enemy. He has about 5500 health, and he is using all dullahans. He shouldn't be able to kill all 4 of your characters, so just send them in if any of your people die. Take over that final HQ, and complete the stage. They find Grutor's Necklace, and go to the tower that leads to the other worlds. Duo asks Fiona to stay out because it is too dangerous, but she reminds him that they went to the same tower 10 years ago. He decides to let her come with them because even if he said no, she would come. Vermillon comes and Herault is shocked to see him. Vermillion joins the team, and they leave to the Lower World. ============================================================================== Part 2, Lower World ============================================================================== Prepare, save, optimize your equipment, take a look at the new map, distribute bonus exp, and head off to... ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 1, Greckland (ACH011) ______________________________________________________________________________ The army is shocked about how much different the Lower World looks compared to the Surface World. It is much more advanced. You see kids being attacked by an army, and then it shows Junka, the boss you have to face. There are no secret chracters to this stage. So I suggest just moving the 3 kids being attacked back, and then not using them for the rest of the stage. send out 5 people on your team. Spread them out to different routes to kill as many enemies as you can so you can get a lot of exp. If you try and capture the town, Wester, there is a person defending it, named Marcos, and all he uses is a cannon. If you want to capture him just to use him to weken large groups of enemies, do so because he has a huge range. Also, if you take over Wester, you can use a path behind it that leads straight to the enemy HQ, so this stage shouldnt take a very long time. Just send everything you've got at the enemies. If you stay in Wester for too long, the enmy will shoot cannons at you. You will encounter some enemies with guns on this stage, and I believe this is your first time fighting them, so if you want to recruit one, go ahead. When you get there, just fight the easy enemies inside the HQ, and you will have cleared the stage. The team talks to the kids who were being attacked, and they aren't hurt. The boy named Quinn had Lilian's Mirror, and he gives it to them in exchange for taking them along for the fight against Mugen and for helping fight evil in the Lower World. They agree, and head off to fight the king, who is being posessed by Mugen. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 2, Alkina (ACH012) ______________________________________________________________________________ You can use 10 units this time. Junka is the boss again. Just send a couple people down the right side and work your way past the enemies into the HQ. This is one of the easiest stages in the game. Junka is back and just as easy as last time. This stage does not require must strategy. Junka tells them why he was fighting the kids(for the mirror), and that the king wanted it very badly. He doesn't seem too suprised to hear that there are elves and demons on their team. He isn't even too shocked to hear that they are from the Surface World. Natalie comes by, injured, and then she faints. She tells them that Lord Darwin was the person who attacked her. They find out that Darwin is actually part of a cult that worhips Mugen, named The Followers of Mugen. Junka and Natalie join your team so they can investigate their leader's actions. Head off to Klantz. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 3, Klantz (ACH013) ______________________________________________________________________________ Magdalene is here and she plans on killing Junka for betraying the empire. You can use 10 units for this fight, and now I'm sure you have plenty of good fighters, so just use the best ones you have. Just send all your people straight to Orense. This is another quick and easy stage where all you have to do is go straight to the base, which is located nearby. There are some yeti enemies around that deal quite a bit of damage, so try not to underestimate them. Also, there is another one of those giant side boss people that are not that hard, but have a lot of health. Magdalene is a very easy enemy, and she is not that great of a fighter, but instead of executing her, it would be a good idea to release her. It's a good idea because she has a very good sword called the flame rapier that you can get if you recruit her on another stage. Take over their HQ and win the stage. Save and go to the next stage. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 4, Tepan (ACH014) ______________________________________________________________________________ Vermillion and Herault talk about their wife/mother, and Vermillion apologizes for leaving Herault for dead. He gives Herault a ring that his wife made for him a long time ago. Darwin hears the news that Magdalene was defeated and that the people who defeated her were going there way. He decides to go out to the battlefield to talk to them himself. You can use 10 units for this fight. This stage is actually quite hard, the enemies deal a ton of damage, mostly the demons. Don't just send one person out that you think can do the job because he/she will most likely die. Keep sending new people out each turn because a few of your people will probably die almost every turn. Eventually, they will stop sending people out of their HQ and you can just rush in and kill whoever is left to capture it and then clear the stage. This is another one of those stages where there isn't much strategy involved, but you must be careful. There are some ninja enemies here, so you can capture them if you want to because they look cool. And they are ninjas. If you start to run out of people, just put them all on 1 square so that way if they get captured, you can just rescue them again with the next person. Also, if you are running low on units, just keep your highest health people closest to the enemies and the lower health people waiting in one of your bases until their health bars refill. When you finally beat Darwin and take their base, you have completed the stage. Congrats on beating the first hard stage of the game. Darwin's actions confirm that he is part of the Followers of Mugen. Darwin explains to them that he must vanquish humanity from the Earth because if he does, Mugen will breath an everlasting tranquility into the world. Darwin flies away laughing on a pod, just like Dr. Robotnik in Sonic. They decide to go to the capital for a final battle. Prepare and head to this "final battle". ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 5, Judeon (ACH015) ______________________________________________________________________________ You can use 20 units in this battle, but I suggest not using all of those spots because you will be recruiting 1 new secret character, and if an enemy attacks the base, it will only let you use 4 characters, and those might be people not good enough to defend the base, unless, of course, you remember to change the people defending your base each and every time one of your people that is defending leaves the base. Junka tells them that the enemies here will be stronger than any enemies we have faced so far, and boy, he is not lying. I suggest that you keep everybody in your HQ except for 3 people, send those 3 people to 1 base at a time. Have 2 of those people make a tent and wait in their spot while the other terra- forms a path into the base. Have that person go in and take the base, causing the people fighting your other 2 to disappear. After that, go back to your HQ, recover health or whatever, and either send out new people, or your 3 that you used last time. Make sure to leave captains strong enough to defend your HQ back at the base while you are capturing enemy bases. When fighting Darwin, don't underestimate him because he has a move called Fission Flare that deals an incredible amount of damage and will probably kill your whole team. Once you take over one of the bases, move your characters back to your hQ in the middle and recover for 1-2 turns. Then, send one character to Bavalosk Town, and explore to find Sicily, a very badly drawn gunslinger. Use those 2 characters to defend in case anybody attacks at Bavalosk, and then send whomever you want to Bavalosk. Move with all of those characters to take over the HQ underneath it. I suggest taking over the bases with the hardest enemies first. I think the hardest are the griffons coming from the right. At the bottom, the enemies are pretty hard as well. A key aspect of beating this stage is to LEAVE GOOD PEOPLE BEHIND IN THE BASE. There will be people attacking you from all angles, and I doubt you have enough useful characters to attack all 4 bases. Take over 1 base at a time, while defending your HQ with good characters. If you can't beat this no matter how many times you try, check out the "Tips" section. When you work your way to the top, you will eventually reach the king. He is a rather easy battle. He has 6700 health, but it is easy to take down. He also has a skill, that I'm not really sure what it does because it missed everybody on my screen, but I'm going to assume that it is some kind of OHKO move. Be patient. Say you have a couple of low-health characters near an opponents base, with a clear path to take it over. DON'T DO IT. No matter how good it looks and how quickly you think you can clear the stage. Think about it, if you are using one of the main captains, he will be gone for the rest of the stage. If you are using a recruited captain, he will be held prisoner until you can save him or her. And since, the rest of your good characters are still back at the HQ defending it, you probably won't be able to send them out to rescue him/her/them. Just slowly work your way up to each base, and finally take each over. When you do, you will have cleared the hardest level so far. Congrats. The king stands injured, claiming that it is not the end, it is just the beginning. The king turned to Mugen because Mugen told him that he would make him king of the world. The king disappears. Duo tells them that they must head to the Divine World. Junka invites himself along. They accept them and are eager to head off. ============================================================================== Part 3, Divine World ============================================================================== Prepare, save, sell all items that say "hasn't even hit store shelves yet.", Equip your main fighters with Red Pills/Gold Herbs, and go to ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 1, Gerndula (ACH016) ______________________________________________________________________________ They reach the Divine World and are shocked to hear that on one side of a tower is Heaven, and the other side is Hell. They meet an angel who thought that they were from Hell because they have devils in their crew. He takes Duo as a representative to meet their king. Herault joins him. The angel says his name is Walther and they go to meet the king. Walther meets up with his sister along the way. Her name is Rose, Queen of the Angels. They tell them that they are after the Grail, and the angels suddenly become hostile. They explain that they are after the Soul Vessels, and the queen recognizes that they are the saviors of the worlds, but she still denies them the Grail. The Hellions attack, and Herault and Duo must help. You can't choose units, which really sucks because both my Duo and Herault are level 8. If you haven't been using them, like I haven't, just use the angels. To beat this level, just kill Grozen. This stage is extremely easy even if your Duo and Herault aren't leveled. Just send the 2 angels along the 2nd furthest path to the right. Grozen will be on that path on the 2nd turn. Make a tent there, 2 spaces away from Grozen, and he will attack you. You should be able to easily beat him and clear the stage. I beat it and I only got into 2 battles. Grozen tells them to kill him, Walther is just about to pull his trigger when Rose stops him. Grozen explains that they are after the Grail because somebody named Calamity told them that the Grail revives the dead. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 2, Bambagaro (ACH017) ______________________________________________________________________________ Rose tells them that Heaven and Hell were tranquil, but now Hell is starting to become aggressive because the King of Hell, Atranis, was assassinated by angels. Atrapollus demanded the Grail because angels killed his father. He thinks he can use the Grail to give his father new life. They plan to meet Atrapollus at his father's grave because he goes there before every major battle. Calamity talks to Atrapollus and gives him a Demon Beast. He tells Atrapollus that he has no chance of winning the war, and that he hopes for the destruction of all angels. Atrapollus gives Calamity the green light, and Calamity decides to use the Demon Beasts to defeat the angels. Duo explains the situation to his friends, and they all decide to meet the Prince at the grave, to tell him that the Grail does not have the power he seeks. You can use 10 units on this fight. Calamity decides to unleash his Demon Beasts on them. I really enjoy this stage, as the mapping is very unique. It is just a straight line in-between your fort and theres. Just send everything you've got that can fight down it and head straight for the enemies' fort. If you have somebody very quick and very strong(like Valzoa), you can actually finish this in 1 turn, but you will probably die. 1 Demon Beast has 16,400 health, while the other only has an easy-to-kill 12,000 health. If you can't kill them with 1 captain, just use all of that characters skills to lower its health before you die. Keep sending new people in and this stage will be over very quickly. Fiona apologizes to Allie about her curse. She believes it is her fathers fault that the curse was ever placed on her. Allie laughs it off and tells her that it is no big deal. Allie tells Fiona to keep smiling because when she is sad, it makes everybody else sad. HMMMMMM......... rather reminiscent of Final Fantasy X, and by rather, I mean almost the exact same dialog. Peculiar.... Steiner interrupts and tells them that it is time to get going. Steiner remarks that her smile looks goofy. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 3, Gilbeim (ACH018) ______________________________________________________________________________ Atrapollus talks to his father at the grave, wondering if what he is doing is right. Duo comes to talk to him, and explains that he is not an angel, he is a human from the surface world. Walther explains to him, that Duo and his friends are the Collectors of the Soul Vessels. They explain to him that the Grail can't revive the dead, but Atrapollus already knew that. He pursues the Grail because "it is the source of all the angels' arrogance". Rose comes and tells him that there will be no end the war, just death after senseless death. Atrapollus replies in saying that it will end when he is destroyed or the Grail is destroyed. You can use 20 units for this battle. This another one of those stages that I hate where you have to capture many enemy HQs. The enemies aren't as hard on this stage as on the last one. So just send 1-2 enemies to each base, leaving the HQ with Atrapollus in it for last, as it is farthest away, and it makes for an epic ending of the stage. Even with their boost of power at night, the enemies are still laughably easy. The HQ near the bottom is rather hard to spot because it is just like a normal town, but if you put your cursor over it, it will have a flag next to its name, meaning that it is an HQ. The looks of this stage make it seem hard, but the enemies are actually extremely easy. This stage is reminiscent of the last stage in the Lower World, but actually that was WAY harder than this is. This is another stage where there really isn't much strategy involved. Just start sending out new units as the ones that are fighting start to die. Work your way into each base and capture them, one at a time, or all at once, depending on if you are patient or rushed. When you reach Atrapollus, he is pretty easy. He only has 6100 health. Just finish him like any other enemy and complete the stage. This stage took a while. Congrats. Atrapollus tells them to kill him. Rose stops Walther before he pulls the trigger. Calamity comes and laughs at their situation. Rose is torn between her love and her land. Calamity tells them that he is the servant of his lord, Mugen. He tells them that he played a part in the death of the prince's father ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 4, Dedos (ACH019) ______________________________________________________________________________ You can use 20 units on this one. This stage is pretty cool because it is one of those stages with multiple enemy HQs, but this one has different elements for each base. Just send out 1-2 people to the bottom base and leave some good people to protect your HQ while they wait for your people to capture the water HQ. The water enemies are actually quite difficult. They deal a bit of damage and hit with a big range. Try not to let too many of your units die before you reach the enemy base. Do not give them a chance to win. If your characters are going to die, send in somebody fresh, especially if the person who is going to die is a main character. After taking the water base, head to the earth/ground HQ. There are no really hard enemies here, some of them will even die with a single use of a skill. Work your way in while fighting the enemies. When fighting multiple enemies in a row, don't think, "I'll save my SP for later when I am going to die", that idea is not very smart if you think about it. The enemies are all going to be around the same difficulty, so you might as well use it in the beginning so it can recharge as you kill enemies after it. Take over the base, and return with your characters to recharge units, health, and sp. After you have some fresh characters, head to the fire HQ. For some reason, the fire base always has very few captains in and around it. Shouldn't be too hard to capture. most of the the enemies you can see, though, are hell hounds, which are very easy. This should be the easiest base to capture of the 4. Once you get that, there is but 1 base left to capture, The shadow base. Use the same strategy as the other ones, just slowly work your way in. When you finally get in there, you will fight Devozerge, who has 16100 health. He is actually really easy and has very little defense. You should be able to beat him without losing a single unit. You will see that the Mugen Army has been annihilated. Congratulations. Rose informs you that Calamity was heading for the Grail, which means he is headed for Elcandel, which is Gefault's grave. Quickly, a soldier flies in, giving news of Calamity engaging in a battle at Runedell, which means that he hasn't reached Elcandel yet. Save and head to the next level. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 5, Runedell (ACH020) ______________________________________________________________________________ You can use 10 units in this battle. Make sure to use 1 shadow person. You arrive and find out that the reason why Calamity stopped to fight was because Atrapollus continued to fight even though he was wounded. Calamity summons the 6 Cursed Knights of Hell. When you first start, send 3 units to the right, to the open land. End your turn. When it is your turn, terraform the 3 spaces in front of your. Send all, but 1 person back and send a dark-aligned person across the spaces with 1 other person. Fight off anybody there and have them keep moving forward until they reach the Mekous Star Base. Use the person who isn't dark-aligned explore and use dark person to walk across the new path to the recruiter and explore to find Elena, the final secret character. Just go and attack the enemy HQ. Calamity is just as difficult as a normal enemy. This stage is supremely easy. Congratulations. Calamity dies praising Mugen. Rose tells Atrapollus of the way that she plans to unite Heaven and Hell. Rose gives Duo the Grail. The captains of the Divine World offer to go to fight Mugen with Duo and his crew. The heroes of legend appear and lead you to Mugen. Everybody floats away as balls of soul and leave you in the... ============================================================================== Part 4, Forlusion World ============================================================================== Prepare and head off to... ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 1, World of Chaos (ACH021) ______________________________________________________________________________ Mugen appears and calls himself the "Ender of Life". Vermillion starts to feel pain because he made a pact with Mugen long ago. The darkness overwhealms him and you leave to regroup. You can use 10 units for this battle. This is the kind of stage I like(1 enemy HQ), however, it is still one of my least favorite stages. If not for the fact that Vermillion, one of my favorite characters, is the enemy, then because the enemies use Dragon Cannon practically every turn. There is not much strategy in this stage, just send out everything you got to fight Vermillion. You will want to finish this level VERY quickly as the 3-4 Dragon Cannons per turn get really annoying. Don't worry about keeping strong units back at your base, there won't be anybody to attack it if you can just send a lot of units to kill Vermillion. Vermillion is very easy, and he uses a formation called "Death Charge". He has 9100 health. This stage is extremely easy and should be finished in no more than 5 turns. Congratulations on beating the stage, and you are very close to beating the Surface World Scenario. Vermillion(being controlled by Mugen), almost kills Fiona when Herault steps in and stabs him in the back. He tells Herault to move on with his life. Herault visits his father's grave and mourns his death. He recovers and says that they should go on, and that his father his happy now. He preaches that they should heed his father's words and move on. Do as they say and move on to... ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 2, World of Zen (ACH022) ______________________________________________________________________________ Fiona asks why Duo's hair color has changed. The reason why is that when vermillion sent him into hiding, he said to dye it. He says when it is all over he plans to take the throne of Laurid. Duo almost asks Fiona out, when Steiner interrupts and tells him to start preparing for the final battle. You can use 20 units for this battle. I absolutely hate this level. It is not even the final battle, which really annoys me. Why say "final battle", when it's not? Anyways, it's another one of these damn 4 HQ battles. Do the same as usual, send 1-2 units to whichever bases you want, if you are using Valzoa or somebody really fast, you can take over the left HQ in the first turn. You will have to fight a ton of wyverns on this stage, and they are pretty hard. They also have quite a bit of health. Make sure to leave good fighters back at the HQ to defend it because there are so many HQs around yours that you are pretty much bound to be attacked a couple of times. In the final rounds at each HQ, you fight Wyvern Kings, which are way harder than normal wyvers. They move really quickly, deal a lot of damage, and have about 10,000 health. I would make sure to have at least 1 more captain there with me before I fought one of them. It doesn't really matter which HQs you attack in what order because they all have the same enemies. I would say just to make sure that you don't get cocky and try to solo the HQs to finish the stage quickly because you might not have anybody good enough to get whoever died back, or if that person is a main captain, he will be gone until next stage. Just be careful and patient. this stage shouldn't be too hard if you just take things one step at a time. After every base capture, go back to your base to recover and help defend against enemies. Capture all the bases, 1 by 1, and beat the stage. No story clips, no dialog, no nothing. Prepare and head off to the Mystic World ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 3, Mystic World (ACH023) ______________________________________________________________________________ Duo and Steiner talk and he tells Duo that if anything happens to him to take care of Fiona. Duo walks off and Steiner sees one of those big bubble things that took them to the Forlusion World. The crew arrives and finds Mugen. Steiner vows to avenge his father. You can use 10 units for this battle. It's just like that one stage with the straight line except this one has a couple of bases, and is shaped like a chain, 2 circles connected. I suggest on the first turn, just end it. Don't do anything, just end your turn. Wait for the ogres to come out. They will probably get another turn, so just hope that they all spread out. Fight them 1 at a time. They have 0 units, about 13000 health, and are actually pretty easy, you should be able to beat them without losing many units. Just keep fighting until they all die and put a bunch of captains outside of Mugen's base. When you reach it, fight Mugen. He has 25,100 health and doesn't have any units. I suggest using the basic formation. Use all of your SP and items you can use against him, do whatever you can to kill him. The skills don't really do much damage against him, but whatever works for you. If you have somebody very high leveled(like 45+), he shouldn't be too much of a problem, even if you dont use SP against him. When he starts getting low on health, he uses a move called "Sight of Death", which has a chance to one-hit kill your whole team. If none of this works for you, check out the "Tips" section, and level grind like crazy. The team breath a sigh of relief when they see Mugen fall. He then rises again and says that he "shall return all to oblivion". The evil souls are released from his body when Lilian appears telling them that the released souls from his body are Mugen's true form, the body that you just killed is the member of the Four Warriors that died, Neigus. She tells them that the only way to defeat Mugen is to accept him into your heart, lock him in, and then you have to be destroyed. Thus saying that one of the members must kill themselves to vanquish Mugen. Steiner steps forward as Mugen's "vessel". The team tries to stop him, but he knows it is his duty to bring peace to the world. Mugen takes control of Steiner and heads to the Shadow World. Go there. ______________________________________________________________________________ Final Chapter, Shadow World (ACH024) ______________________________________________________________________________ They find Steiner, who is posessed by Mugen. Lilian appears and tells them to destroy him. Duo cannot do it, and Lilian tells them that the same thing happened to Neigus, and they could not kill him. He was then used as Mugen's puppet. Duo decides that he does not want that to Steiner. You can use 10 people for this battle, but 2 of them are Duo and Fiona. Just pick the best 8 people you have. This stage is very fun. It is just a straight line with 1 open base in the middle. Steiner is the boss, kill him to beat the stage. There are no other enemies on this stage, just head straight in and attack Steiner. He has no units, 25600 health, and a ton of ATK and DEF. This stage is almost unsoloable. Just go in and attack, use all the items and SP you've got. If you can't beat him, just level grind like crazy, there is nothing else you can really do. He has Defender and uses it quite a bit. Just keep on sending in new people and hope he uses "Black Wave" so it will waste his SP. There is not much left to say, but good luck! If you can beat him, CONGRATS ON BEATING THE SURFACE WORLD SCENARIO! It took a while, but it was worth it. Steiner gives a "farewell" speech, saying that Mugen is still inside of him and that he will perish alongside Steiner. He tells them to leave because the island is going to fall. Fiona does not wish to leave, and Steiner uses a sleep spell on her. Duo and the others leave with Fiona. Steiner dies and ends up in Heaven. The credits roll as it shows all the characters that Duo met on his quest on the left side of the screen. You can skip it(thank God) by hitting (Start). It leaves off with Fiona telling her child about the story of his/her uncle, Fiona's brother. You can now save a Cleared Game. FINALLY got that over with. ****************************************************************************** Island in the Sky, Galadia (GA0001) ****************************************************************************** Again, the people talk about evil and "THE OTHERWORLD!" Rose and Atrapollus stand on a rooftop, discussing how nice the festival is. Calamity tells Atrapollus that, with the power of the grail, he can bring his father back to life. He stands on the rooftop, shoutin to the hellions that now is the time that they will finally take the grail from the angels. If they refuse to give up the grail, then they shall go to war. ============================================================================== Part 1, Divine World ============================================================================== ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 1, Lonedan (GACH01) ______________________________________________________________________________ Calamity tries to convince Atrapollus to take over a town which has no great warriors and consists mostly of elderly. He leaves war tactics to be decided by Calamity. Leave 1 person on the straight path in front of your HQ. Use this perrson to explore Dorff Village to find Valzoa. Send the others to the other path in the fork. Keep on advancing them and fighting enemies as they reach the foe's HQ. Take it over and clear the stage. Walther and Rose are shocked to see that the hellions would stoop so low as to kill civilians. Grozen tells Atrapollus that the next target is Gerndula. Calamity comes in and says some useless stuff and you go to the World Map. Save and distribute EXP before going to Gerndula. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 2, Gerndula (GACH02) ______________________________________________________________________________ You can use 10 units, and Zamofet is an event character. Just send everything you've got to any of the Open Lands near their HQ. Turn it into a hospital, and just kill enemies as they come to you. Take over the HQ when the number of units reduces a lot. Rose appears and Atrapollus demands the grail. She refuses to give it up and Atrapollus has his troops attack them. Work your way in and beat Walther and Rose. Congrats. Rose lies injured as Atrapollus asks for the grail. She, again, denies him. He walks away, telling her that the war will end if she just gives him the grail. Prepare, save, and head to... ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 3, Gilbeim (GACH03) ______________________________________________________________________________ The angels arrive without the grail and the prince sends his troops to go to war. In this stage, all you have to do is kill Rose. I recommend sending 1 unit each base out as far as he will go. Try and reach the Nadack Star Base, Aurdol Base, and the Bruhm Star Base. Explore there to find Taerdus, Lululala, Xena, and Zio. Just work your way in and kill Rose. It shouldn't be too hard as you are on dark panels, so your guys will get boosts and their characters power will get reduced. Rose, again, lies defeated and, AGAIN, refuses to give up the grail. Atrapollus pulls his blade on her and cannot do it. He puts it away and leaves. Walther shoots him and he starts to fall, he walks up to Atrapollus and Rose stops him before he pulls the trigger. Calamity comes in, laughing about the situation. Calamity tells them that his lord, Mugen, wants to destroy the grail. Calamity tells Atrapollus that he killed his father. Go to Runedell. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 4, Runedell (GACH04) ______________________________________________________________________________ You can use 10 captains here, and Walther and Rose are event characters. On this stage, I suggest making a hospital and just waiting there to fight. The enemies on this level are pretty tough, so if you can't kill them, just look at the "Tips" section. Kill each enemy, and slowly work your way in. Attack their HQ, when ready, and take it over or kill Calamity to clear the stage. Good luck. After a couple of turns, Atrapollus comes even though he is injured. He's probably not strong enough to fight with Calamity's army anyways, so it's no big deal. Calamity is pretty easy, so just kill him to beat the stage. Calamity dies giving praise to Mugen, and Atrapollus falls to the ground. Rose gives a corny speech about equality. One Month Later....... Atrapollus decides to leave to the Surface World, even though legend says that it has been destroyed. He says he must go to find the Soul Vessels and kill Mugen. Rose, Grozen, and Walther all decide to go with him. ============================================================================== Part 2, Surface World ============================================================================== They go to the Surface World, and the blue balls we have been seeing lift them up somewhere. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 1, Dorand (GACH05) ______________________________________________________________________________ You see Duo on a battlefield, and a man who is giving off the same dark aura as Calamity. They decide to help them because they seek to destroy all forms of Mugen. The boss is Zeldren. I suggest taking over Lark Town and defending it until the best time to attack Zeldren's HQ. Just take things one step at a time. Zeldren isn't that hard, he only has 5000 health. Go wherever you want next and repeat the same process, except instead of Lark Town, go to whichever town is closest to the enemy HQ, it should recharge your health quickly. Take things slowly, be patient, and stay smart. You should be able to clear this stage if you just keep your cool. If you can't kill the enemies, check out the "Tips" section for how to level grind quickly. If you want to, you can explore Adel town to find Haratorte and Nahnilad Zeldren returns to normal before he dies and tells Steiner where to find Grutor's Necklace, one of the Soul Vessels. He tells them that if they want to learn more about the Soul Vessels, the people from the Divine World can tell them. Steiner decides to go with them in the quest to destroy Mugen, and tells the, that he will show them to the Soul Vessel. Go to Galhara. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 2, Galhara (GACH06) ______________________________________________________________________________ Here you can find Marmilla at the Magician's Grave Tower. You can also find Sylvia and Gatrei at the Look Out Post 2 Tower. Again, just go around capturing each base 1 at a time, I suggest doing the left or right one first and then going around. If you are having trouble killing the enemies and taking over the tower, do the usual hospital building and then just wait. This stage shouldn't really be hard. If you could beat the last one, you should be able to beat this without dying once. They find the Soul Vessel and leave to find the last one in the Lower World. ============================================================================== Part 3, Lower World ============================================================================== They arrive and find the Lower World to be strange. They see Quinn and his friends being chased by an army. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 1, Greckland (GACH07) ______________________________________________________________________________ I suggest just moving the kids out of the way and move everybody to Wester Town. Slowly work your way into the base and just attack with everything you've got. This is a quick and easy stage. The boss is Junka, he is pretty easy. The kids tell them that they are okay, and are shocked to meet angels. They tell them that they are searching for the last Soul Vessel, and Quinn realizes that he is talking about his mirror. They ask for the mirror, and Quinn tells them that they can have it if they let the kids come with them, and also help their world's problems. They accept. Head to chapter 2. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 2, Judeon (GACH08) ______________________________________________________________________________ You can use 10 units in this battle. Also, you can find Sicily at Bavalosk Town. Ok, I'm really tired of typing out this long stage, so I'm just going to copy the relevant information from other scenarios. I suggest that you keep everybody in your HQ except for 3 people, send those 3 people to 1 base at a time. Have 2 of those people make a tent and wait in their spot while the other terraforms a path into the base. Once you taken over one of the bases, move your characters back to your hQ in the middle and recover for 1-2 turns. He has 6000+ health, but it is easy to take down. Congrats. This stage takes FOREVER. Quinn hands over the mirror, and the Soul Vessels start to glow. They take you to a foreign world. ============================================================================== Part 4, Forlusion World ============================================================================== Prepare, save, and head to the World of Zen. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 1, World of Zen (GACH09) ______________________________________________________________________________ Damn. I HATE this stage. Send your best fighters to the left HQ and wait outside of it for the enemies to come out. Wait till only the Wyvern King is left because you won't be able to kill him if you had to fight anybody else right before him. They are all very tough, and deal a ton of damage. You might have trouble killing the king, if you do, use the "Tips" section, again. Leave good units back at the HQ. After the left one, send your team to either the top or bottom HQs. Use the same strategy as before. After taking that, head to the right one and repeat, except this time, send 1 more person out, as there won't be too many people attacking your HQ. One you get that, send everybody at the top. Take it over, and finish the stage. ______________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 2, Mystic World (GACH10) ______________________________________________________________________________ They go to the Mystic World to find Mugen. The Prince tells him that he wishes to kill him. You can use 10 units. Just take over one of the 2 star bases, wait for the ogres to come out, and kill them. After they die, attack Mugen. If one of your captains is going to die, retreat and send in a new captain. If you can't defeat Mugen or the ogres, all you can do is level grind. The ogres have 11000+ health, and Mugen has 23500+ HP. For the final time, Mugen falls and his true form is unleashed. Lilian appears and tells them how the only way to kill Mugen is to accept him into your heart and then destroy him along with yourself. Rose volunteers to be the sacrifice, and Atrapollus says that if anybody was going to die, it would be him. Rose has already made up her mind and will not take no for an answer. Atrapollus tries to stop her, but Grozen holds onto him so he can't move. Mugen posesses her and takes her to the Dark Realm where you must follow and destroy him/her. ______________________________________________________________________________ Final Chapter, Shadow World (GACH11) ______________________________________________________________________________ Rose is almost complete posessed, and Atrapollus refuses to kill her. Ultra-epic stage here we come. This stage is just a straight line. All you have to do is kill Rose, who is far stronger than Mugen was. She has a little bit less health, but deals a ton of damage. Again, just retreat if you need to and keep fighting. This stage is almost impossible to lose in if you are patient. If you fight her with Atrapollus, a little cutscene will appear where Atrapollus realizes that he must kill her. When you finally beat her, congrats on beating what I think to be the hardest scenario in the game. The island starts to fall, and Rose tells them to leave. Atrapollus starts to leave and gives Grozen and Walther command of their lands. He leaves it to them to unite the lands of Heaven and Hell. Let the credits roll. Finally done with the walkthrough portion of this FAQ. Took about a week or more. /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ <4. Tips (TIPS01)> \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ Taken from a post by Serapiel, a Gamefaqs user. - Going to a signpost and making a hospital, and using the command explore is the fastest way to level up. - When you use explore and get into a random fight, most of the time, the random enemy units you fight go according to the element that the tile/base is. So if you use explore on a fire base/tile you have a greater chance of fighting a fire-oriented enemy unit. This is a great way to get stronger, better units of a specific type of element. - When you're higher leveled than the set level on a stage for enemies. Most of the time, the enemy will not attack you, cause it knows you'll win. - Sell any new items you get that aren't in the shop yet. Just don't sell the really rare items cause you can't buy those back. The more items the shop has, the more newer items will be created. - When choosing a partner for a captain, its better to use a character that is already in they're second class. This will give you an edge in what skills to use, and you basically then have a partner is just as strong as the main captain. - When you go to the class change option, if you can't class change someone, that means they are already in they're second class. - Always try to class change someone in they're first class, because in the long run, they're stat growth will be much better. - Always carry Red Pills or Red Herbs. Red pills will let you spam skills more on enemy units when you're in trouble, so you might end up killing all enemy units and can take out the enemy captain with ease. Red herbs are just for a little something, if you don't have red pills. - Remember to always use the EXP option on you're partners, they tend to level up slower and the random birds will not level them up, so sometimes they will fall behind in levels. - Remember to unequip front/back units from partners, and equip up to date weapons, armor and accessories. - The higher level you are, the harder it is for you to lose. If an enemy captain is level 8, and you're level 15, you will receive less damage, and your minions will dish out more damage. - On average, you should have the full 30 minions per unit by at least level 20. If not, that means you need to stop using the EXP option on it unless that captain is going to be a partner, then it doesn't matter. - Going back to a map that you've already done will spawn enemies that are equivalent to the level of the highest captain you have chosen. So if you have a level 8 captain, all enemies will be level 8. - Some partners will give you an additional "Union" skill to your main captain's skill options. The only one I know of so far is Allie as the partner and Herault as the main captain. I haven't gone far with trying to get union skills. by the way, the Union skill with Allie and Herault has 100% skill limit restriction. So unless Mugen is immune to that, it'll be very useful. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 5.
