Debut: 02/10/1990 Signature Moves: Walls of Jericho (modified Boston Crab) Lionsault Running Enzuigiri Bulldog (Y2J's version) Springboard Dropkick WWE.com BIO Chris Jericho was born to be a star -- more importantly, a WWE Superstar. In 1990, Jericho began training at the legendary Stu Hart’s notorious “Dungeon,” and later that year, made his debut on the independent circuit in Canada, teaming with Lance Storm. From there, he competed and won numerous championships in Japan and Mexico, such as the International Junior Heavyweight Championship and the NWA Middleweight Championship. Jericho's career began to escalate in 1996, when he debuted in ECW and later became that organization’s Television Champion. Later that year, he made his debut in WCW as “Lionheart” Chris Jericho. In 1997, he captured his first Cruiserweight Championship. During that time, he flourished in legendary title battles with Dean Malenko and current WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio. On August 9, 1999, Chris Jericho arrived in WWE on a mission: to be a one-man, human-highlight reel. Within months of his arrival, he won the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Just a few months later, at WrestleMania 2000, he defeated Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle in a Triple-Threat Match for the European Championship. Despite all of his success, Jericho had one final goal, and on December 9, 2001, he achieved it. On that night, Jericho defeated The Rock and Stone Cold to become the first-ever Undisputed World Champion. Since then, Jericho has continued to excel, maintaining his status as one of the sport’s greatest talents. If he is not in action, he is probably hosting his interview segment, “Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel, ” instigating confrontations and controversy. In addition to his full-time schedule of competition, Jericho travels worldwide as lead vocalist with his rock group, Fozzy. My comments on Jericho: Y2J is one of the best technicians today. An ideal wrestler, he can fnish off opponents using a high-flying maneuver and high speed throughout his technical moves. Y2J has got it all : Charisma, Technique, Holds. The Boston Crab maneuver has barely made anyone tap out until he came to WCW, introducing his new Elevated Boston Crab, which he calls "Walls of Jericho". He is an all-round opponent and can beat anyone in anytime, anyhere. I bet it won't be long before the Highlight of the Night capture the gold. _______________________ 2.0 Stats _______________________ Strength: 7.5 Submission: 9.5 Durabillity: 8 Tecnhique: 8 Speed: 7 Charisma: 8 Overall: 87 Settings: Dirty Brand: RAW Class: Heavyweight __________________________ 3.0 Moveset __________________________ Bases Taunt: Right Analog Stick Down = Chris Jericho 3 Right Analog Stick Left = Chris Jericho 1 Right Analog Stick Up = Chris Jericho 3 Right Analog Stick Right = Chris Jericho 2 Ready Moves: Attack: Down + X - Dropkick 2 Left/Right Diagonal Down - Jericho Toe Kick Left + X - Back Chop 4 Left/Right Diagonal Up - Snap Jab Up + X - Spinning Wheel Kick 2 Right + X - Spinning Back Kick Grapple Attack: First X - Grapple Elbow Strike 1 Second X - Grapple Elbow Strike 1 Third X - Grapple Body Attack Submission Grapples: (Down + O) Down + O - Snapmare & Neck Lock 2 Left + O - Headlock Takedown Up + O - Standing Crossface Right + O - Headlock 2 Signature Grapple: (Left + O) Down + O - Hurracanrana 5 Left + O - Snapmare 3 Up + O - Back Chop 8 Right + O - Suplex 13 Power Grapple: (Up + O) Down + O - Northern Lights Suplex 2 Left + O - Backbreaker 2 Up + O - Flashback 1 Right + O - Shin Breaker Quick Grapple: (Right + O) Down + O - Jumping Armbreaker 2 Left + O - Snapmare & Dropkick 2 Up + O - Steam Roller Right + O - Snapmare & Dropkick 1 Back Attack: Down + O - Back Suplex Pin 2 Left + O - Back Suplex 3 Up + O - Backbreaker 8 Right + O - Bulldog 6 Groggy Down + O - School Boy Roll Up Left + O - German Suplex 6 Up + O - Flash Back 2 Right + O - Bulldog 6 Edge Of The Cell Front: O - Downward Thrust Front: O + Any Direction - Downward Thrust Back: O - Downward Thrust Back: O + Any Direction - Downward Thrust Ground Attack: X - Angry Stomp X + Up Or Down - Angry Stomp X + Left Or Right - Elbow Drop 1 Grapple: Upper: Left + O - Dropkick to Face Up + O - Slap Head & Rasie Right + O - Reverse Chin Lock Lower: Left + O - Leg Lock 10 Up + O - Punch To Groin Right + O - Walls of Jericho 3 Turnbuckle Attack: Facing Opponent: X - Turnbuckle Clothesline X + Any Direction - Turnbuckle Clothesline Grapple: Facing Opponent: Left + O - Dropkick 8 Up + O - Frankensteiner Right + O - Double Underhook Suplex Behind Opponent: Left + O - Super Back Suplex Up + O - Turnbuckle Smash Right + O - Super Back Suplex Back Attack: Down + O - Illegal Pin Left + O - Shoulder Strike Up + O - Super Back Suplex Right + O - Turnbuckle Smash Opponent Leaning on Ropes: O + Any Direction - Elbow & Irish Whip Rebound Attack: Standing: Triangle + X - Flying Forearm Smash 2 Lying: Triangle + X - Lionsault Outside: Triangle + X - Moonsault Attack Jump Down Over: Square + X - Rope Flip 2 Aerial Stand: Left + X - Missile Dropkick Right + X - Diving Elbow Bat Down: X - Diving Elbow Drop X + Down - Diving Moonsault 1 X + Up - Diving Elbow Drop Running Attack: X - Flying Forearm Smash 2 X + Any Direction - Spinning Wheel Kick 4 Facing Opponent: Left (or Right) + O - Neckbreaker 2 Up (or Down) + O - School Boy Pin 1 Behind Opponent: O - Bulldog O (Groggy) - School Boy Pin 2 Downed Opponent: X - Elbow Drop 10 Any Direction + X - Dropkick to Knee Running Opponent: O - Flash Back 1 Up Or Down + O - Tilt a Whirl Sideslam 2 Left Or Right + O - Flapjack 4 Double Team Grapple: O - Double Suplex Down + O - Dropkick & Rolling Clutch Left + O - Double Suplex Up + O - Double Facecrusher Right + O - Double Dropkick Turnbuckle: Down + O - Whip & Lay Down Left + O - Double Stomping Up + O - Backbreaker & Leg Drop Right + O - Kick to Gut Special L1: Facing Groggy Opponent - Walls of Jericho L1 + Any Direction: Facing Groggy Opponent - Enzuigiri 4 Weapon Finisher: L1 - DDT 29 L1 + Any Direction - DDT 29 Favourites: Bulldog 6 Suplex 13 German Suplex 6 Combination Moves: X - Benoit Punches X - Spinning Back Kick 1 X - Spinning Wheel Kick 2 ___________________________ 4.0 Strategy ___________________________ Use 'Suplex 13' and/or 'German Suplex 06' lots. You'll find this useful. Quickly lock in 'Walls of Jericho 03' (Ground type). Opponent shouldn't be able to escape very quick. Keep applying pressure. Also, hit 'Punch to Groin' few times. Then lock in Walls again. If opponent counters, just do 'Suplex 13' again, and lock in Walls again. At quite some time, the Sub B will increase your Adrenaline and you can perform finisher. I suggest to not use 'Walls of Jericho' (Standing type) if facing a wrestler with high sub stat (e.g. Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle). Do it only to wrestlers under your sub level. Until then, just use the ground type of Walls. Unless the match features more than 2 wrestlers (e.g. tag team, handicap), limit your submission move to "Walls of Jericho'. You might end the match without even using a finisher icon! __________________________ 5.0 Copyright __________________________ This FAQ is copyright of Kriegpaolo_23.
