Credits ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Introduction ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is my first ever FAQ so i hope its useful, I made this FAQ because i think and other people think that stats for some wrestlers are wrong (i.e. John Cena) so here are some examples that i think are right for wrestlers. If you don't agree with any stats feel free to contact me and tell me what you think should be given to wrestlers, you will be credited for it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ General Things. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You may well wonder why I dont update this FAQ often, the reason is not because i havent got the time, its not because i cant be assed, its simply because I find it easier to up-date after a RAW and a Smackdown! Pay Per View (PPV). I also up-date after a joint production. Also if you are looking for a specific Wrestler, press and hold Ctrl and press F to bring up a search box, then type the wrestler's name, you will be taken to him/her for their Stats. Here's the info you will need to be able to contact me on MZ Login : Matttombstone Team : Aberystwyth FC Good Luck to all on MZ! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Explanation of Stats ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Strength - Strength is how much damage a wrestler can do to his/her opponment example, Brock Lesnar can do more damage to Hurricane than someone like Rico Brock Lesnar has 10 for Strength and Rico has 6 therefore Brock can do more damage than Rico can. Strength does NOT mean who a wrestler can or can not lift, this is determined by your weight class, Eg, If you play as a wrestler who is a lightweight he can only lift lightweight and light heavy weight. Submission - This determines how long some one can hold on a submission more and how easy it is to make someone submit or for you to escape from a submission. Example- Chris Benoit has 10 for submission therefore he can hold the Crossface on for 10 seconds and has a better chance to make someone like Randy Orton tap who only has 6.5 for Submission. Endurance - This determines how much pain your Wrestler can take before giving in, Also the rate of Strength Affects this so the Higher the Strengyh the less moves needed to do the damage. Technique - This is what Determines a Wrestler in Countering, So the higher Technique a Wrestler has the more he will counter moves. Speed - This is how quickly a Wrestler walks, runs and Climbs. If you have a rating in speed of 9.5 or above then your wrestler will jump on top of the turn buckle instead of climb (like Rob Van Dam does before he does the 5 Star Frog Slash). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How to get EXP and how to give them to Wrestlers ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To get EXP (Experience Points) you need to go through season mode, the more titles you hold and the more matches you win the more you will get. You can also get EXP by talking to people back stage, also you can lose some if you react to them in the Wrong way. To give them to your Wrestler you need to go to Season mode and start a show, then go down to the T-shirt and press X, you will be taken to a screen and you will see the Stats (Strength, Etc) you simply click on one and expand it to how much you want, but the more you give to a wrestler the more points you will need to expand Example - to get from 9 - 9.5 you need 90 EXP points and to get from 9.5 - 10 you need 100 EXP points. Tip - To get more EXP points you need to put difficulty level on Smackdown level where you can change in options mode. Example - If your Wrestler earns 12 EXP points every match, if you change your Difficulty level to Smackdown your Wrestler will get 24, that's Double of what your Wrestler got on Normal difficulty. You can also get EXP points using a Cheat Device like Action Replay (AR) using a Cheat Device you can get your Wrestlers EXP to 127.5 for all of your Stats. Also this is the only way to give Wrestlers that cannot be used in season mode like Vince McMahon to higher stats. Before we get to the stats, i'd like to mention that i removed a section which warn you of spoilers, so if you don't want any spoilers, i recommend that you do not read the intros of those that are involved at a PPV. He almost ended Kurt Angle's Carrer after a chokeslam from a 20ft (?) ledge. He is a power house and deserves better endurance and submission stats. The Booker man can get it done, just a slight change to strength. Original stats 8 7 9 8 8.5 81 Recommended Stats 9 7 9 8 8.5 83 Brock Lesnar - Brocks stats are Perfect so you shouldn't change them. You might want to change the Submission stats but that's all, no need change anything else. Original stats 10 8.5 10 9.5 7.5 91 Recommended stats 10 8.5 10 9.5 7.5 91 Bubba Ray Dudley - Got some good offence in on Taker at the GAB, also he and his Brother's D-von and Spike defeated Paul London, Billy Kidman and Ray Mysterio at Summerslam. Just add some strength and endurance mostly. Original Stats 7 7 7 7 6.5 69 Recommended stats 8 7 8 7.5 6.5 74 Charlie Haas - Charlie, a raising star on Smackdown, he wears down opponents at a decent speed. His strength needs improving and since his finisher is a submission finisher (and a painfull one at that) he needs improvements there. Original Stats 6 8 7.5 8 7 73 Recommended stats 7.5 9 7.5 8 7.5 78 Chavo Guerrero - Chavo takes out cruiserweights quite quickly, he also can make people tap and can endure punishment, he needs small improvements. They managed to wear down taker several times even nailing in the reverse 3D. Up-date his strength and Endurance stats. Original Stats 6.5 7 6.5 7.5 6.5 68 Recommended stats 7.5 7 7.5 7.5 7 73 Eddie Guerrero - Eddie held the WWE title for 4 months and unluckly lost at The Bash. Though his loss was due to some bad luck, his stats need improvement, He managed to survive JBL at Judgement day, improve his Endurance. He also can wear down his opponents quickly and momentum can change hands quickly between Eddie's opponent and Eddie himself. Update his Strength. Original stats 6 8 7.5 8 7.5 74 Recommended stats 9 8.5 9.5 8 8 86 John Cena - John Cena's stats may well be the worst in this game, and with an impressive performance against Undertaker on Smackdown (24/06/2004) I think that back's me up pretty well. He also was WWE United States champion for 4 months but never lost it, it was striped from him, that title is still his. Also his win/loss record is higher in the Wins. Angle also Broke Scotty Too Hotty's ankle back in 2001 with the ankle lock and has made several people tap, Submission update! Kurt also won an Olympic Gold medal for free style Wrestling, you need alot of technique to be able to do that so keep the Technique like it is. Original Stats 8 9 10 10 7.5 89 Recommended stats 9 10 10 10 7.5 93 Rey Mysterio - Rey is a quick cruiserweight and his deftifying, Gravitational law breaking move's do more damage than what these stats suggest, he once allmost defeated Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship. Lets face it, Ray is just not normal, so lets jump to work updating Ray's stats! Original stats 5 7 6 9 10 74 Recommended stats 7 7 7 9 10 80 Rico - Rico Wrestles in an Unique way, though as we have seen he can get it done with out needing to scare his opponents half to death. He needs strength and endurance up-dates. Original stats 6 6.5 6 6 7 63 Recommended stats 7 6.5 7 6.5 7.5 69 Rikishi - Rikishi is powerful and knows how to move that ass. He can wear down opponents quickly and can with stand punishment. Update his strength and endurance stats. He can wear down opponents fast and can endure alot of punishment, he lasted Triple H untill the sledge hammer. So update his strength and Endurance. After much begging, pleeding and annoyance, i had to degrade RVD's Speed back to 9.5 along with this quote "RVD is no Rey Mysterio" if you haven't allready guessed who it was, it was Deadman1206, so if your out to get someone, get him, not me! Personally i disagree with him and RVD IMO can be as fast as Ray Mysterio. Original Stats 6.5 7 7 7 7.5 70 Recommended stats 7 7 7 7 7.5 70 The Undertaker - Its the old undertaker, the dead man and he came back like this at Wrestle Mania XX against Kane. He is the first person to pin Kane cleanly with out cheating or Kane being Disqualified since Kane was unmasked in mid 2003. Undertaker is yet to be defeated and didn't do the right thing at the bash. He defeated the dudleys then went and filled up the encrypt himself. Undertaker also wears down opponents quickly and effectivly. Undertaker was screwed out of the WWE championship at Summerslam and i feel WWE are making a joke out of Undertaker and Kane, WWE seem to think that Gimicks are not as important as Wrestling where as it is. Original Stats 9.5 9 10 9 9 92 Recommended stats 10 9 10 9 9 93 Undertaker - This is the Biker Undertaker who has some submission holds which are effective. Improve his Submission. Taker also is quick meaning his speed needs updating. Original stats 9 8.5 10 9 6 85 Recommended stats 9 9 10 9 7.5 89 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- RAW Superstars. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- A-train - This wollie mamoth is a strong powerfull man with an impressive debut match on RAW against Y2J Chris Jericho, he with stood Jericho's Offence through out the match, it was only when Jericho applied the walls to make him tap out. Therefore i suggest raising his Endurance and Technique. Original stats 9.5 6 7 7.5 6 72 Recommended stats 9.5 6.5 8 7.5 6.5 76 Batista - Batista is a powerhouse, his strength has been shown many times, the most recent was RAW on 20/09/2004 when he clotheslined Randy Orton, who had to be carried out but later returned to complete the match with an RKO. I suggest raising most of his stats due to his power. Original stats 9.5 6 7 7 6.5 72 Recommended stats 9.5 7.5 8.5 7.5 7.5 81 Chris Benoit - He has beaten HBK Shawn Michaels and Tripple H Twice for the world heavyweight title, once at Wrestlemania XX and once at Backlash, he even defeated Kane at Bad Blood. Chris also wears down opponents quickly with his German suplexes. Therefore his strength needs improvement. Chris also won the Royal Rumble in 2004 and he entered as number one meaning you need pretty decent endurance to survive 29 other men. He put on a great performance at Summerslam and lost to Randy in a fair fight but lasted a great deal of time. Original Stats 7 10 8 10 8 86 Recommended stats 9 10 9 10 8 92 Chris Jericho - Chris Jericho has beaten the best in the buisness and he is the first Undisputed champion in WWE history. He can wear down opponents quick and also survive for long periods of time. He came close to defeating Edge at Summerslam to become the Intercontinental Champ, Sadly it didn't happen. He did win TLC 1 and 2 with Edge against the Hardy's and The Dudley's, so up-date a little. The following night Edge and Benoit became World tag champions. Edge has also enjoyed sucess in the past with his brother Christian being Tag Team champions several times and also won TLC 1&2. Edge will also be joining Evolution to take Randy Orton's place Update his Strength and Endurance. Original Stats 7 8 8.5 8 8 79 Recommended stats 9 8.5 9 8 8 85 Goldberg - Goldbergs stats are fine. Original stats 6 7 6 6.5 8.5 68 Recommended stats 7 7 7 7 8.5 73 Kane - Kane is a monster, since he was unmasked last year he has been on a path of destruction, and no one has beaten him with out him being Disqualified, them using a weapon, or someone cheating. Up untill Wrestlemania XX that was the only way he was beaten, The Undertaker beat him with out any weapon, Kane being disqualified or any form of cheating, Benoit has defeated Kane with a straight pin fall, and as to my knowlage, Kane has only been beaten by Taker and Benoit with no form of cheating. Just update strength and speed. Matt is also fast meaning his speed needs a touch up, Matt also got a victory over Kane at Vengance in a no DQ match. Original Stats 6.5 7 7.5 7 7 70 Recommended stats 8 7 8.5 8 7.5 78 Randy Orton - Randy is unstoppable, if you watched Backlash 2004 when he faught Cactus jack you have got to admit his Endurance is way off. his stats need a major improvement and if WWE keeps pushing him the way they are doing, i think we may as well have his OVR at 100. I think were close to giving him 100 OVR, He defeated Chris Benoit at Summerslam and became the youngest World Heavyweight champion, Lets improve more. Original stats 7 6.5 7 7 7.5 70 Recommended stats 9.5 8.5 10 8 8 88 Rhyno - The man beast, he can wear down opponents quickly, can last through submissions and lengthy battles, he is also pretty fast. Update his stats. He can wear down opponents quickly and he is faster than a 5 rating. Recommended stats 6.5 7 7 7 7.5 70 Eugene - Giving The Game the finger at Summerslam was pretty funny, even though he has lost his first match by pinfall, but not without help by Mr Man boob's Ric Flair, Eugene will no doubt have a good future in the WWE and i look forward for his first Royal Rumble appearence. Recommended stats 8.5 7 9 8 7 79 Funaki - Smackdown! Number one announcer! Funaki Wrestlers every now and then on Velocity and has challenged for the Cruiserweight title on occations. Will he hold the title one day? Well Funaki is mostly known for his tag team partnership with Taka Michinoku, they used to come out waving Japanise flags and a microphone, then they would speek into the mic but nothing would be heard for another second where a man would speek for them. Their mostly used quote was Taka saying "We are EEEEEEEEEEEVIL!!!" then he would hand the mic over to Funaki and he would say "Indeed!" Recommended stats 6.5 6 7 7 8.5 70 Gangrel - Recently seen on Smackdown, he was once appart of undertakers Ministry of Darkness back in the late 90's, i don't know wether he will be seen on Smackdown in the near future, personally i think it was a short term deal. Recommended stats 8 7 8.5 7.5 7.5 76 Garrison Cade - Currently on RAW but mostly wrestles on HEAT, not much can be said about him right now, maybe he would enjoy more Success on Smackdown. Recommended stats 7.5 7 7 8 7.5 74 Godfather - The Pimp, Godfather used to be appart of Steven Richards old RTC Which stood for Right To Censor as the Good Father. I don't know where Godfather is at this moment and i don't know if he is Wrestling. All i can say is that we might see the ho man back, we might not. Recommended stats 8.5 7 8 7.5 7 76 Grandmaster Sexay - He was fired in mid 2001 due to being found with drugs, he made a return on RAW in mid-April 2004, the RAW just before Backlash, many people were happy with his return, but wern't too happy with his refiring. Recommended stats 7 6.5 7 7.5 8 72 Hardcore Holly - Making a return from a broken neck back in November 2003, Bob is one hell of a tough guy, he needs 10 for endurance because he refused to take pain killers when he was recovering from the injury. He drove a car into the back of the hurst that Undertaker was in at No Mercy, little did he know that when paramedics used the Jaws Of Life to open the Hurst, there was no Taker in there, not a body. Recommended stats 8 7 7.5 7.5 7 74 Hulk Hogan - He has left WWE and may not come back, but we shall see. His stats are on the disk which were found by a hacker so full credit goes to him. Recommended stats 9.5 8.5 9.5 8.5 6 86 Jamie Noble - Fired from WWE, Jamie Noble was a cruiserweight who held the Cruiserweight title on many occations. Will we see the return of Jamie in the near future? Only time will tell! Recommended stats 7 7.5 7.5 7 8 74 Jeff Hardy - Fired due to failing a drugs test then refusing to go to rehab, there's times when there are rumours going around WWE boards saying that he is coming back at PPV's but hasn't so don't listen to them, Though i have read on a site that he is involved with Kane/Lita pregnancy, this is false as he is now under contract with TNA, though we might see him back in the future. Recommended stats 7.5 7 8 7.5 9 78 John Bradshaw Leyfield - The NEW WWE Champion JBL, He took a beating at the Bash and got really Lucky, heres some stats that should suit him. He beat Undertaker at Summerslam luckly thanks to the help of Orlando Jordan, but he got what was comming to him and got put through the roof of his limo! Recommended Stats 9 7.5 9 7.5 7.5 84 Kenzo Suzuki - Making an impressive debut against Scotty Too Hotty, Kenko has not yet been defeated in WWE Via pin Fall. Kenzo also reminds me of a coffee brand in which i drunk whilst i wrote this FAQ :D. Recommended stats 8 8 8 8 8 80 Luther Raines - Kurt Angle's body guard, he has been impressive and has a bright future with WWE. He can wear down opponents pretty quickly and can with stand a beating. He wasn't around often in WWE during the making of this game, so because he wasn't included, here are the stats. (Note, stats for Cactus Jack are above) Recommended stats 9 8.5 9 8 6.5 82 Mordecai - Another new addition to Smackdown's Roster, He is undefeated and he has impressed me this far. He has great strength and as we saw at the Bash, he can wear down opponents quickly. Recommended stats 9 7.5 9 8 8 83 Nathan Jones - He may have left the WWE already but he did join early 2003, late 2002, he was tutored by Undertaker up untill Wrestle Mainia XIX then was sent to WWE's training ground Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). He then Quit in December and Stayed in Australia. Recommended stats 9.5 7 9 7 7 79 Nunzio - The Leader of the F.B.I (Full Blodded Italians) is a pretty decent wrestler and knows how to get into peoples head. Don't know why he wasn't put in this game so here's some stats. Recommended stats 5.5 6.5 6.5 7 8 67 Paul London - Amazing superstar and full of tallent, it seems that on the HCTP boards people like this guy and so do i, his speed is allmost that of Rey Mysterio's, so based on speed and his title reign here's some stats for London. He took on Nathan Jones and Matt Morgan often and allmost managed to defeat them at times. The boss of the Dudleys, and the Current Cruiserweight champion, Spike is now a mean man with a bad attitude. William is tough and can take a good beating, don't underestimate the British. That is only by using a Cheat Device such as Action Replay or Game Shark.
