You control a weasel and a rabbit that are literally chained together and you are trying to escape the lab that you are being held captive in. You're pretty much controlling the weasel as you run, jump and move about, but when you want to attack something you swing the rabbit at it. The game is very funny and I laughed at a lot of the humour in it. Unfortunately between the funny parts there is a LOT of long and frustrating sections and some pretty cruel backtracking elements later on in the game. If you REALLY like platformer games and are ready to have your patience tested, by all means give this game a go. ############################################################################### (C) CONTROLS ############################################################################### The controls for this game are very simple, and are as follows: Dpad/Left Stick - Move your characters. Right Stick - Control the camera. L1 - Center the camera behind you. R1 - Show/Hide Stats. L2/R2 - Hold and press triangle to release a Robomouse. Square - Attack. Triangle - Action button. Circle - Attack. X - Jump. Select - Map. Start - Pause/Menu. ############################################################################### (D) ITEMS/ABILITIES ############################################################################### ----- Items ----- Keys - These are your lives. Hypersnacks - These are used as experience, the more you collect the stronger you will become [the maximum level you can reach is 20]. Almost every human has at least one of these, but if you hit them after they're knocked down you can often find a few more. Robomouse - When you use one of these it heads for the nearest enemy and explodes. --------- Abilities --------- Glide [Press X twice and hold it the second time] - You learn this ability at a certain point in the plot and it allows you to slow your fall. High Voltage Grapple - Used to grapple on the gold orbs, you learn this ability at a certain point in the plot. Continuous Sweep [Hold circle while sweeping] - Normally you perform a sweep by ducking [R2] and pressing circle, but by holding circle you will keep sweeping until you release the button or hit something. This ability is a boon that you earn between areas if you choose it. Sweep Finish [Press square, square, square, L2 while attacking] - This combo allows you to do more damage to an enemy by releasing a powerful sweep when L2 is pressed at the end of the combo. This ability is a boon that you earn between areas if you choose it. Juggle Finish [Press square, square, square, X while attacking] - This combo allows you to do more damage to an enemy by releasing a powerful jump attack when X is pressed at the end of the combo. This launches the enemy in the air and lets you score more hits before they land on the ground again. This ability is a boon that you earn between areas if you choose it. Hyper Dash [Hold circle when Redmond is hyper] - This ability allows you to do greater damage with Redmond when he is hyper by basically letting him pull you in whatever direction he's facing. He then attacks whatever he comes into contact with. This ability is a boon that you earn between areas if you choose it. Chain Charge [Hold circle until charged, then release] - This ability allows you to charge the chain [and Redmond] with electricity before you swing him at the ground. The attack doesn't have to even hit the enemy, it can hit the ground near him to cause damage. This ability is a boon that you earn between areas if you choose it. Air Smash [Press circle while in the air] - This ability lets you perform a stronger overhead smash while in the air. This ability is a boon that you earn between areas if you choose it. Level Maps - This boon allows you to save the maps that you see when you access a map terminal, instead of only being able to see the full map at that terminal you can now access it wherever you decide to check your map. ############################################################################### (E) WALKTHROUGH ############################################################################### Bricklayer J. Gastronomy You will find the walkthrough for the entire game in the sections below. You can save at any time in the game if you access save from the pause menu, so don't forget about it. Saving your game keeps track of what you have done, but you will begin at your last save terminal used. If you die you will start at the last checkpoint reached. Most humans have at least one hypersnack but they often have more, so ALWAYS attack a human after he's been knocked down to see if they have any extra hypersnacks. You can also return to these humans once they wake up and attack them again for more hypersnack. When dealing with grinders or other machines where Redmond is tossed in the gears and you have to fight them it works best to alternate your efforts. By this I mean that you let the machine pull you forward, then you pull back for a second. Repeat this until you've successfully used/broken the machine. ############################################################################### (E-01) SHOWCASE ############################################################################### Once you've created a login [save], watch the intro until you can control Spanx [the weasel] and Redmond [the rabbit]. ---------------------- Animal Testing Hallway ---------------------- Approach the nearby monitor and press triangle, then approach the blue beams and use X to jump over them as well as the boxes beyond. Jump the next set of beams the same way and press triangle to enter combat mode. Attack the robot with square or circle, then jump some more boxes before destroying a pair of robots. Check the monitor and jump to the near boxes before climbing on top, then drop to the floor beyond and attack the medkit on your right for some health. Double jump [by pressing X twice] to cross the toxic waste safely, then smash the terminal on the right wall up ahead to get rid of the security light. Smash the fan on the same wall and enter the alcove to reach a checkpoint. ----- Vents ----- Smash a series of grates and move past bursts of flame when they die down as you pass through these vents, then walk onto the floor beyond to reach the next checkpoint. ---------------------- Appliance Testing Room ---------------------- Take a few steps to start a cutscene and be given a new mission: Free monkeys from the Dunk Tanks. Attack the scientist until he gives up a hypersnack, then smash all the beakers and control panels to do some extra damage. Jump up the stairs for a robomouse and smash the panels while you're up here, then drop down again and jump onto the floating platform ahead. Double-jump onward and start grappling across the next section by pressing square when you're in the air to latch onto one of the orbs in the air. Swing forward and jump off before grappling across to the other side, then attack the scientist and the lever on the panels to free the monkeys. The monkey's will help beat up the scientist if he wakes up, but you should carefully enter the passage behind the security light. ----------- Goo Hallway ----------- Hold R2 to easily make it across the narrow beam, then smash a pair of grates and press square to use the pipe above as a zip-line. Enter the door ahead of you to reach the next checkpoint. ---------------------- Adhesives Testing Room ---------------------- Beat up the scientist and smash all panels, then press triangle by the large tank to activate fire. Now that Redmond is on fire you can walk through the fire hazard door to reach your next checkpoint. Go right and grab a key from the shelf, then enter the next room to start a cutscene and get a new mission: Free hamsters from the Hamster Cannon. Jump past all the hamster cannons and approach the green fuse box at the back of the room, then press triangle to use Redmond as a circuit breaker and watch a short cutscene. Go back and destroy the four hamster cannons, then beat up the scientist and smash some panels and a medkit near the front of the room. Jump up the stairs beyond and smash all the panels, then hit the switch up here and go through the door at the back of the room below to reach the next checkpoint. ---------------- Gauntlet Hallway ---------------- Hold R2 to run under the lasers and make a break for the door up ahead before the path gets blocked [if you're too slow go back to the previous door and try again]. Watch the cutscene and hide under the three panels on the left side of the room so that the lights don't spot you. Attack the security guard and smash all the panels up ahead, then hit the switch to open the next door. Go through the door and approach the grinder to reach your next checkpoint. Press triangle by the grinder to stuff Redmond inside, then use the left stick to fight the machine. Once the door opens you can enter the next room, unless you want to destroy the pictures on the wall first. -------------- Museum Hallway -------------- Hit the medkit on your right for some health, then attack the flying bot and smash the Fatress300 display on your right. Go left afterwards and double-jump the lasers, then smash the Binoculenses display on your left and double-jump the lasers beyond. Smash the medkit on your right for some health before smashing the Self-Op2000 display and double-jumping some more lasers, then destroy a bot and roboweasel before smashing the medkit beyond. Smash the display and enter the small control room to your right up ahead, then smash all the panels and the security hub to deactivate the floor nearby. Use the grinder above to open the door, then head on through to the next room. ---------- Food Court ---------- Watch the cutscene to get a new mission and start smashing whatever you want in this room, then beat up a trio of security guards. Use the map and save terminals around the room and look out for a pair of grappling orbs in the air just right of where you entered this room. Swing across both grapple points to reach a ledge and smash the nearby grate, then go through the vents [watch out for steam midway through] and smash the grate at the other end. Double-jump clockwise around the room and jump up to the pipe above before using it as a zip-line [hold square], then smash the panels and hit the switch to form a staircase around the pillar in the middle of the room. Jump through the window and climb that staircase, then wait for a grapple orb to get close before you jump and hang from it. Ride the orb over to the next ledge before jumping to it, then jump up to the ledge on your right. Hold R2 as you jump on the rails and run up them until you can't go any higher, then grapple one of the moving orbs and ride it before jumping to the nearby ledge. Ride the elevator up to a catwalk and go across that to reach one of the four supports. Smash the support and backtrack to the middle section, then ride the orbs to the other supports and smash them. Once you smash three orbs a short cutscene starts, then you get to beat up 3 hazmat guards. Drop to the ground floor after you beat them and find the helium tank that you saw in the cutscene. Use it to inflate Redmond and float up to the target high above you, X makes you go faster and R2 slows you down. Smash the final support once you hit the target and watch the cutscene, then go through the doors to see your results and a cutscene. Double-jump some lasers and kill a few bots, then double-jump more lasers and go through the door ahead. Pass some more lasers and kill some bots, then go through the door and smash the medkit on your left for some health. Continue up more stairs past lasers and bots, then smash the medkit left of the doorway. Head up more stairs and through the next door to finally reach a checkpoint and a new section. ############################################################################### (E-02) FOOD COURT ############################################################################### -------- Main Hub -------- Smash whatever you want here and grab a robomouse from the bathroom, then explore until a cutscene starts. After the cutscene you get glide ability, which is performed by pressing X twice and holding it the second time. Use the map station to get more of the map for this area and find one of the fans blowing out air around the cafeteria. Glide above this fan to reach the ledge above [outer wall], then smash the light bulb and follow the powerflies as they reach a grapple orb and activate it for you. Quickly swing across both orbs to reach the next catwalk and smash another light bulb, then follow the powerflies back across the catwalk and across the ground floor to get the cafeteria door open. Head down the stairs and press triangle at the elevator doors to ride it. --------- Cafeteria --------- Watch the cutscene to reach a checkpoint and get a new mission: Destroy the four green canisters to destroy the Goo-Cannon. Go down the ramp and watch out for flaming food flying at you for the next section. Stand under each of the four containers holding green goo and jump up before smashing them, once all four are destroyed the lunch lady comes after you. I find it works best to wait for her to swing her spatula before quickly running away from it, then counter-attacking with a 2-3 hit combo. Repeat this until the lunch lady is no more, then go over to the chocolate stream and press triangle to cover Redmond in chocolate. Go back up the ramp and ride the elevator once more. -------- Main Hub -------- Climb up the stairs and enter the main area to reach a checkpoint, then go up the escalator in the middle of the room to start a short cutscene. Beat up the security guard and ride the elevator that he came down, then cross the catwalk and head left. Smash all the panels and hit the switch to create another catwalk, then go back across your catwalk and head right across the new one. Grab the item on your left and go through the door up ahead to get your results and choose a boon [I recommend the Sweep Finish Ability]. Go through the door and try out your sweep attack by crouching [L2] and pressing circle, then use the grinder to open the door. Kill a few bots as you pass through the next few doors, then use another grinder to pass through the next door. ############################################################################### (E-03) ENDURANCE ############################################################################### ----------------------- Endurance Entrance Hall ----------------------- Beat up the scientist and use the map and save terminals, then beat up a few more scientists before going through the door to your left and reaching a checkpoint. ----------------- Hall To Treadmill ----------------- Carefully pass the moving lasers and beat up the security guard, then run down the stairs and through the next door to reach a checkpoint and start a cutscene. ---------------------------- Treadmill/Shock n Spray Test ---------------------------- Attack the scientist and use Redmond to jam the nearby machine and free the monkeys from the treadmills, then go through the hole in the fence and attack a pair of scientists. Smash the machine that's shocking the monkeys and break the medkit up the ramp and whatever else you want, then go through the nearby door. ------------------------ Hall to Animal Cage Room ------------------------ Break the medkit on your right and work your way past the lasers and a security light as you go down the stairs. Beat up a security guard along the way and enter the door at the bottom for a checkpoint and cutscene. ---------------- Animal Cage Room ---------------- Beat up the pair of scientists and jump on the cages in the middle of the room, then swing towards the big red button by using one of the orbs. Jump up and smash the big red button to free all the animals in here, then go through the door that the gorilla smashed in the cutscene. -------------------- Hall to Waiting Hall -------------------- Beat up a pair of scientists and work your way past some lasers and a security light, then enter the door at the end of the hall for a cutscene. ------------ Waiting Hall ------------ Break the medkit on your left if you need it and beat up both hazmat guards, then attack the security hub at the bottom to kill the light. Use the grinder to open the door and go on through it. --------------------- Hall to Zero G Hangar --------------------- Avoid the lasers as you climb the stairs and enter the door at the top for a checkpoint. ------------------- Zero Gravity Hangar ------------------- Attack the group of scientists here and press triangle to use the chicken cannon in the middle of the room. At this point a few drones constantly respawn, so shoot them down if they're annoying you. Your main efforts should be spent shooting the glowing blue spots on the wall. The monkeys are freed once you destroy all of these targets, at which point you should enter the vent that you saw in the cutscene to start a short cutscene. ------------------------- Zero Gravity Control Room ------------------------- Hold R2 to quickly run to the security button, then smash it and beat up the scientist. Smash the medkit before you climb the ramp and smash another red button, then enter the next door after the cutscene. --------------------------- Hall to Parachute Test Room --------------------------- Carefully work your way past the lasers and across the gaps. Attack the wheel by the door up ahead until both doors open, then head on through them. ------------------- Parachute Test Room ------------------- Follow the ramp up to a scientist, then beat him senseless and use the grinder to get through the door. --------------------------- Hall to G-Force Test Hangar --------------------------- Jump all the lasers and be sure to get the trio of hypersnacks below the platforms, then jump across the platforms and continue through the door up ahead for a checkpoint. ------------------- G-Force Test Hangar ------------------- Head down the ramp to your left and beat up the scientist, then scurry [R2] across the pipe to reach a ledge. Use Redmond to fight the gears and free the monkey, then scurry across the pipe to the other side of the room and free the next monkey. Drop to the floor and beat up a group of scientists, then look for a small fence you can climb up on the large drum in the room. Beat up a pair of scientists here and scurry across the nearby pipe to reach the top of the drum, then fight the gears with Redmond at the middle of this area to free the last monkey. Climb a nearby fence and beat up the security guard, then go through the door up ahead. ---------------------- Hall to Elevator Lobby ---------------------- Avoid the lasers and the security light as you enter the next door, then beat up the security guard and use the elevator. ------------------- Parachute Test Room ------------------- Beat up the scientist before you climb the fence on your right, then double-jump to the nearby ledge and beat up another scientist. Use Redmond with the machine on your left to destroy it, then drop to the floor and smash the nearby medkit if you need it. Return to where you destroyed the machine and head left before falling down the parachute shaft, then use the helium tank and follow the large red wire on the shaft to the target above it. Attack the trio of humans and hit the nearby big blue button, then drop to the ground and enter the door that just opened. --------------------- Hall to Zero G Hangar --------------------- Attack the scientist here and jump the standard lasers until you reach some trickier lasers, then jump through either side when a large triangular space forms. Continue past more lasers and attack the wheel to get both doors open, then go on through for a checkpoint. ------------- Zero G Hangar ------------- If you fall in this room you can use the glide move to float back up to one of the two floating metal blocks. Otherwise simply jump from orb to orb as you grapple your way across, then go through the door at the other side. ----------------------- Hall from Zero G Hangar ----------------------- Head past a series of lasers and use the grinder at the end to get through the door. ----------------------- Endurance Entrance Hall ----------------------- Jump the gap after the cutscene to see your results, then choose your boon [I recommend the Juggle Finish Ability & Air Smash Ability] before heading through the door. -------- Main Hub -------- Go past the lasers and through the door beyond. Run to the grinder up ahead and use it to get through the next door. Run to yet another grinder and use it to get through the next door. Smash the vent and follow it as you smash a bot midway through, then smash a grate at the end and attack a security guard. Hit the big yellow button and go through the pair of doors, then cross the bridge and another one on your left. Pass through the door for your results and smash a few bots until you reach a blue hallway and a checkpoint. Watch the lights and lasers as you go through this hallway, then use the grinder at the end to get through the door. ############################################################################### (E-04) ROBOTICS ############################################################################### -------------- Reception [3R] -------------- Destroy the roboweasel and use the save terminal on your left, then smash the medkit on your right and go through the door at the back of the room. --------------- Main Entry Hall --------------- Pass the series of lasers and enter the door at the end of this hall. ----------------------- Parts Distribution [3P] ----------------------- Ignore the bots for now and kill the generator that's making them first, then kill the remaining bots. Smash the medkit in the alcove to your right before climbing the ramp, then go through the nearby door. -------------------------------------- Chip Design to Parts Distribution Hall -------------------------------------- Head towards the door and smash the grate on your right, then enter the vents. ----------------------------- Ventilation Duct - Restricted ----------------------------- Use circle to smash the bots and fall down the hole at the end. -------------------------------------- Parts Distribution to Chip Design Hall -------------------------------------- Go past the lasers, bots and security light before using the grinder, then pass through the pair of doors for a checkpoint. ----------------- Main Control Room ----------------- Attack the scientist, flying bot and roboweasels before smashing all the robotic arms in beyond the glass, then enter the nearby door. ---------------------------- Chip Design to Assembly Hall ---------------------------- Work your way past lasers, a bot and a security guard before passing through the next door. Go past a trio of security lights to get through the next door. Finally use the grinder to gain access to the next room. ---------------------------- Assembly & Construction [3G] ---------------------------- Attack the scientist and head for the crane at the back of the room, then hit the switch on your left to get it moving again. Jump and hit the security bot in the back to destroy it, then break the nearby medkit for some much-needed health. Stand on the nearby pair of boxes and wait for the crane to get close to you, then grapple onto it and swing to the upper ledge when you get close enough. ------------------- Duracoal Test Lab A ------------------- Smash the glass and attack the scientist, then smash all the hamster cages and the machine on the wall that's wired to the last hamster. ---------------------------- Assembly & Construction [3G] ---------------------------- Enter the nearby doorway and attack another scientist, then smash the medkit and enter the door up ahead for a checkpoint. ----------------------------- Assembly to Robot Repair Hall ----------------------------- Destroy the bot as you pass some lasers and go through a door, then avoid some security lights before reaching the next door. Deal with bots and lasers here before using the grinder to reach the next room. ------------------------ Robot Repair Center [3H] ------------------------ Destroy the group of roboweasels after the cutscene to start another one, then smash one of the medkits before releasing the powerflies. Follow the powerflies across the room to reach an elevator. ------------------------------ Repair to Chip Design Elevator ------------------------------ Wait for the doors to open and exit the elevator. ---------------- Chip Design [3C] ---------------- Follow the powerflies as they reach three different locations and start a short cutscene, then use the elevator once more. ------------------------ Robot Repair Center [3H] ------------------------ Double-jump your way up the platforms around the middle pillar to reach a ledge, then enter the door and attack a scientist a roboweasel. Continue onward and smash the medkit on your left, then smash the grate on your right and enter the vents. ----------------------------- Ventilation Duct - Restricted ----------------------------- Destroy the bots until you reach some flames, then quickly rush past them when they're gone. Collect the hypersnacks and smash the grate up ahead for a cutscene and a checkpoint. -------------------------- Cybernetics Test Area [3X] -------------------------- Destroy the generator first before you attack the bots and humans, then free the skunks from the treadmills and climb the ladder beyond the fence. Smash the medkit and jump across the red platforms, then grapple onto a crane and ride it into a tunnel. Jump off and crash through the window on your left, then take the hypersnacks and smash the bots. Jump through the leftmost window and grapple onto another crane, then wait until you are close to the next orb up ahead before jumping to it [this part can be VERY frustrating, because your crane turns just as you get close]. -------------------------- Material Transport Control -------------------------- Jump to the ledge from here and take the hypersnacks, then attack the human up the stairs and enter the vents on your right for a cutscene. -------------------------- Cybernetics Test Area [3X] -------------------------- Enter the door ahead of you for a checkpoint. ----------------------------- Cybernetics to Reception Hall ----------------------------- Head past the bots and lasers before using the elevator at the end of the hallway. -------------------------- Cybernetics Reception Hall -------------------------- Go past the lasers and destroy the roboweasel before reaching a checkpoint beyond the door. -------------- Reception [3R] -------------- Approach the exploding chicken cannon in the middle of the room and use it to kill 10 roboweasels in 2 minutes [if you can kill one near the tube where they come out you can just keep shooting them as new ones come out]. Follow the trail of hypersnacks once you've done this and go through the next door. ------------------------------------ Reception to Intellect Transfer Hall ------------------------------------ Go past lasers bots and a security light before smashing a grate on your left and entering the vents there. ----------------------------- Ventilation Duct - Restricted ----------------------------- Kill the bot inside and smash the grate at the end to reach the next room. ------------------------------------ Reception to Intellect Transfer Hall ------------------------------------ Kill the bots and smash another grate on your right, then enter the vents there. ----------------------------- Ventilation Duct - Restricted ----------------------------- Kill the bot in here and fall down the hole at the end. ------------------------------------ Reception to Intellect Transfer Hall ------------------------------------ Watch the lights and lasers as you reach a checkpoint, then use the grinder to get through the door. ------------------------------ Intellect Transfer Center [3T] ------------------------------ Destroy the generator and any leftover bots, then climb the stairs and fight a roboweasel. Fight the scientist and smash the medkit, then go through the nearby door. -------------------------------------------- Intellect Transfer to Metal Fabrication Hall -------------------------------------------- Avoid the security lights as you attack a human, then use the grinder up ahead to get through the door. ---------------------- Metal Fabrication [3M] ---------------------- Destroy the security bot and climb the nearby fence to reach the ledge above, then smash the medkit and go through the doorway. ----------------- Metal Fabrication ----------------- Go up the stairs for some hyper snacks, then return to the previous room. ---------------------- Metal Fabrication [3M] ---------------------- Climb the fence once more and jump on top of one of the bots on the conveyors, then avoid the bursts of fire until you're almost at the red barrier at the end of the conveyors. Jump off to your right here to land on a ledge and take the hypersnacks, then walk to the other end of the ledge and grapple to a crane. Jump to an orb when you're over the lava and jump to another crane from that point, then jump to the nearby blue ledge before you reach the red barrier. Scurry [R2] along the pipe and attack the bot on the other side, then smash the grate and enter the vents. Follow the vents until you're back in the main room, then cross the catwalk. Jump in the air and ride the pipe above like a zip-line to reach some more vents. ----------------------------- Ventilation Duct - Restricted ----------------------------- Smash the medkit for some health and smash the nearby grate, then attack a bot inside and smash another grate on your left. Smash some more bots and another grate on your left, then smash some more bots and fall down the hole up ahead. ------------------------- Hall to Combat Test Arena ------------------------- Kill the roboweasel and dodge the lasers, then smash a medkit on your right and enter the next room for a checkpoint. ---------------------- Combat Test Arena [3A] ---------------------- Fight the bots until the timer runs out, then use your glide move in the middle of the room to fly up to the four generators. Attack a pair of roboweasels before scurrying across a hazardous pipe, then attack a human and use the pipe up ahead as a zip-line. Attack a pair of roboweasels and ride another zip-line, then attack a human and scurry across the next pipe before passing through a pair of doors. ------------- Eel Tank Room ------------- Enter the room for a checkpoint and cutscene, then go left or right and scurry across the pipe to reach a ledge. Jump across the ledges and look for a fence to jump to, then climb up it and attack the valve nearby. Repeat this for the other side of the room, before returning to where you first entered the room. Now you should notice that two valves on either side of you are open revealing tunnels. Enter each tunnel and smash the valve at the other end to free the eels and lower the pistons. Go back to the start of the room and work your way back through the tunnels to reach the first room. ----------- Plasma Core ----------- GO left at the first fork and left once more at the second fork, then glide past the hot spots in the tunnel before passing through the doors. ---------------------- Passage to Helium Vent ---------------------- Scurry along the dangerous pipe and attack the human beyond, then scurry across another pipe and kill two roboweasels. Fly up through the hole and go to the outer ledge in this section, then hit another button before destroying the machine beside it. Drop down and attack the human, then use the helium tank here and fly through the hole before hitting another button and destroying another machine. Grapple across 2 more orbs to reach another ledge and glide right from it as the wind carries you to another ledge. Scurry across the pipe here and hit the button to drain the water from the room, then attack the human and glide back over the gap. Climb the fence and use Redmond in the 3 machines to free the animals, then scurry up the lowest pipe and return to the first room. ----------- Plasma Core ----------- Go left at both forks and enter the door with the radiation symbol above it, then jump the hot spots inside and pass through the set of doors. ----------------------- Passage to Reactor Core ----------------------- Scurry across a dangerous pipe and attack a human, then scurry across another dangerous pipe and attack a human and roboweasel. Cross another dangerous pipe before killing a human, then use a zip-line before killing a roboweasel. Scurry up this one too and carefully grapple across the series of orbs at the top, then attack a group of humans before using a nearby ion barrel. Quickly grapple up the series of orbs before you lose your charge to land on a giant switch. After the cutscene you should work your way back to the first room. ----------- Plasma Core ----------- Go right at the first fork and straight at the next while you pass through the door with the gears above it, then jump the hot spots and go through the set of doors. --------------------- Passage to Gear Alley --------------------- Scurry across a dangerous pipe and attack a human, then scurry across another dangerous pipe and attack a roboweasel. Cross another dangerous pipe before killing a human, then use a zip-line before killing another human. Use another zip-line and attack a human beyond, then cross a pipe and enter the next room. ---------- Gear Alley ---------- Go to the end of the catwalk and glide right to the moving platform, then glide to the ledge with the wire and scurry across it. Make sure you watch out for the traveling spike and jump over it carefully as you go, then take a short break inside the red pipe. Now scurry across the rest of the long section of wire as you carefully glide over any sparks in your way. Take a rest once you reach the checkpoint, then ride the platform up and grapple across a pair of orbs. Ride this platform up and use the nearby wire as a zip-line [I spent ages trying to scurry across it] to reach the next checkpoint. Quickly run to the end of this section and enter the pair of doors there. -------------------------- Passage to Super Gear Room -------------------------- Scurry across a pipe and attack a human, then scurry across another pipe and attack another human. Cross another pipe before killing a human, then use a zip-line before killing a roboweasel. Use another zip-line and attack a human beyond, then cross a pipe and enter the next room. --------------- Super Gear Room --------------- Glide across the broken bridge segments, then jump across the circular platforms to a small ledge with a fence. Climb the fence and scurry across the pipes, then carefully jump from one pipe to the next where they go straight down. Jump to the suspended platform and the solid ledge beyond, then jump the trio of red platforms before climbing a fence. Carefully jump across the long series of hanging platforms, then continue across a series of red platforms to reach the next checkpoint. Run to the end of the hall and use the save station, then use the elevator. --------------- Power Boss Room --------------- Hide behind each of the power coils in the room until the boss shoots them full of electricity, then run for the turret and climb into it. Fire the turret at the boss until it loses power again, then repeat the whole procedure. As the fight progresses you need to deal with small bots and a stomp attack that creates small electrical barriers between the gems in the floor, but both are easily avoided. After about 4-5 turns in the turret you should have done enough damage to win the battle. Pick up the HUGE pile of hypersnacks afterwards and find the multi-power machine by the dead orbs. Use it to gain an ion charge, then grapple across the series of dead orbs to reach a button. Hit the button to uncover a warp tube under the turret, then drop down and use the warp tube. ############################################################################### (E-06) VENTILATION ############################################################################### ------------- Hubroom South ------------- Use the save terminal and attack a trio of humans as you explore the room, then jump on the rising platform when you reach it. Go over to either of the blasts of air and use one to glide to the platform in the middle of the room, then climb the fence there and use the new air blast to land on top of the hanging room above. Walk across the long beam and jump to the ledge beyond, then enter the nearby room and hit the big red button. Leave the room and drop to the ground floor before finding the gate that opened when you pressed the button. Use the helium tank here and fly high up to the target, then use the nearby warp tube. ------------------------- South Helmut Testing Hall ------------------------- Smash the series of huge grates in front of you and some bots, then glide across the pair of air currents to reach the other side. Smash a few more grates and bots before gliding across a similar room, then smash through more grates and bots to reach the next room. -------------------- South Helmut Testing -------------------- Go across the catwalk and down the stairs before running past the missiles, then smash the launcher and climb the nearby fence. Jump up the stairs next and use the warp tube up ahead. ---------------------- Vertical Shaft Hallway ---------------------- Climb the stairs as you smash some bots, then pass through the lasers and smash the medkit on your left before going through the door. -------------- Vertical Shaft -------------- Attack a few humans as you work your way to the helium tank in the middle of the room, then use it to get as high up as you can. The fan will blow you into objects much faster than you'd prefer, but start gliding once the helium is gone and the fan should blow you right to the platform at the top. Jump to the nearby track and scurry along it, then jump to the ledge up ahead. Attack the human here and smash a nearby grate, then enter the vents beyond. ---------- Trash Vent ---------- Destroy a number of bots and carefully run past the flames, then smash the grate and continue to the next room for a checkpoint. -------------------- Shipping & Receiving -------------------- Attack the group of humans here and use the fusion barrel in the corner [by the trucks] if you want, then jump up the green piles of boxes and use them to jump across the other piles of boxes to reach the corner where the robots are walking around. Jump on top of one of these robots and ride it to the boxes near the orb, then jump to the orb from there and swing to the catwalk. Cross the catwalk and enter a room, then attack the humans inside. Pick up the hypersnacks and hit the red button to create an orb, then leave the room and continue down the catwalk to a different orb. Swing from the orb to the conveyor and run against the conveyor to the new orb, then swing from that orb to the next conveyor. Go against this conveyor and swing across the next orb, then go against this final conveyor to reach a new hallway. ------------------------- Shipping Conveyor Hallway ------------------------- Run through the lasers when they fade out and go past the fire when it disappears, then continue past more lasers to reach the next room and a checkpoint. ------------ Shipping Hub ------------ Attack any humans and security robots if you want, then climb the piles of boxes and jump to the red catwalk in the middle of the room. Enter the small room here [smash the medkit if needed] and hit the red button, then jump from a pile of boxes to the metal platform that you saw in the short cutscene. Jump to the conveyor from here and enter the hallway beyond it. ------------------------------------- Manufacturing Line 1 Conveyor Hallway ------------------------------------- Go past the lasers and fire when they disappear and smash a grate on your left, then jump through to reach a checkpoint. -------------------- Manufacturing Line 1 -------------------- Take hypersnacks and jump to the conveyor, then quickly run past the moving parts and jump to a ledge. Grapple to a ledge and jump across the conveyors to reach another ledge, then attack a human and watch out for the shots from humans above. Enter the next part of the room and carefully glide across the moving platforms to reach the next ledge. Attack the humans and take the hypersnacks, then smash the medkit if needed and enter the next section for a checkpoint. Carefully jump from the moving platforms to the catwalk and a conveyor beyond, then follow the conveyor and attack some humans. Smash the grates and jump across the moving platforms as the wind pushes you slightly, then use Redmond in the three grinders around the large machine. Smash the nearby grate and enter the vents beyond it. -------------------------- Manufacturing Line 1 Slide -------------------------- Smash the bots and run past the fire when it's safe, then smash a grate and go down the slide for a checkpoint. ------------ Shipping Hub ------------ Return to the middle room with the red button and hit it again [it may take a few hits] so the platform moves in front of the packaging & warehouse room on your map. Jump on the platform and grapple one of the moving orbs to your left, then let it carry you into the hallway. ----------------- Packaging Hallway ----------------- Hang off the orb until you reach a checkpoint in the next room. --------------------- Packaging & Warehouse --------------------- Drop down and run along the conveyor, then run past the stomping machines as you follow the conveyor into the next part of the room. Leave the conveyor when it ends and jump up the stack of boxes in the corner, then smash the grate on your right for a key. Jump to the nearby hypersnacks and attack a few humans below, then jump up the pile of boxes on your right and a platform beyond. Use the series of orbs to reach a new section of the room, then kill/avoid the human and security bot and find the stacks of boxes in the middle of the area. Jump left to a ledge and the catwalk beyond, then jump up the boxes that lead to the hanging platform with the stack of boxes to start a cutscene. Drop down to the ground and find the green stack of boxes in the back left corner. Jump up them to reach a walkway and grapple across a few platforms, then glide to a nearby pipe and scurry across it. Grapple a nearby orb to reach a higher ledge, then go through the hole that you created in the cutscene. Use Redmond in the three grinders and drop to the ground once more, then enter the tunnel [under the box pile on the platform] that was previously blocked with a fence. -------------------------- Warehouse Conveyor Hallway -------------------------- Kill the bots and pass the fire when it disappears, then enter the next room for a checkpoint. ------------ Shipping Hub ------------ Check your map and enter the chipping and conveyor hallway, then follow that through shipping & receiving to reach the room where you started. ------------------- Manufacturing Trash ------------------- Attack the human and hit the two switches, then drop down and jump to the cart to get your results and start a cutscene. ----- Waste ----- Go to the hub area and enter the hallway marked "atrium". ------ Atrium ------ Avoid the lasers here and use the elevator. ############################################################################### (E-09) GENETICS ############################################################################### ----- Lobby ----- Attack the humans and smash the medkit to your left if needed, then use the save terminal and grapple the orb on the right side of the room. Quickly rush up the ramp and smash the window before jumping on the lid plant, then grapple through the glass and smash a grate before entering the vents beyond. -------------------- Atrium Ventilation A -------------------- Follow the trail of hypersnacks and kill the bots, then smash a grate and drop into the next room. ----------------- Atrium Labroom 02 ----------------- Attack the pair of scientists [use the multi-power machine if needed], then ignore the spawning bots and glide above the plants to get blown into the air. Grapple your way through the small window and enter the vents there. ----------------------- Atrium Ventilation Hall ----------------------- Smash all the bots and avoid the fire, then smash the grate and drop into the next room. ----------------- Atrium Labroom 03 ----------------- Use the pair of zip-lines and smash the medkit if needed, then enter the nearby door. ----------------- Atrium Hallway 02 ----------------- Smash any bots in your way and use the grinder to get through the door, then attack a scientist and make your way through the next door. ------------------------ Atrium Botanical Testing ------------------------ Hit the trio of lid plants and quickly grapple to the first one, then jump across to the next ledge. Glide into the nearby air currents to reach the ledge above, then smash a bot and grapple across to the next ledge. Jump from the plant to the ledge above and scurry up the pipe, then smash the glass and attack the human. Jump to a lighted platform just outside the window and glide to another platform below, then hit the button to raise the platform beside it. Use the platform to reach the next ledge and grab some hypersnacks behind the glass, then smash the grate and enter the vents beyond. -------------------- Atrium Ventilation B -------------------- Smash the bots and avoid the fire before smashing the grate and dropping into the next room. ------------------- Atrium Tree of Life ------------------- Use the orb on your right to grapple to the ledge nearby, then hit the button [the platforms are only raised for a brief period so be quick] and smash the medkit if needed. Drop down and use the orb at the other side of the room to reach some hypersnacks, then jump across the trio of platforms to reach the next ledge. Hit the flashing green button to raise another trio of platforms, then quickly use the orb to cross them before jumping past some plants. Scurry across the red wire and glide to the nearby human, then attack him and enter the vents nearby. -------------------- Atrium Ventilation C -------------------- Slide down the ramps as you collect hypersnacks, then attack the bots and drop into the next room. ----------------- Atrium Labroom 03 ----------------- Smash the medkit on your right if needed, then use the right warp tube. ------------------------ Atrium Botanical Testing ------------------------ Attack the human and make your way through the nearby vents, then jump on the red button to fill the cart. Go back through the vents and jump on the red button by the cart to get it moving, then use the warp tube to return to the previous room. ----------------- Atrium Labroom 03 ----------------- Use the left warp tube here. ------------------- Atrium Tree Of Life ------------------- Attack the human and enter the vents nearby, then smash the bot inside and attack a human beyond. Jump on the red switch to fill the cart, then go back through the vents and jump on the other red switch to get the cart moving. Grapple to the next ledge and use the moving platform to reach the next ledge, then grapple to the closest orb when it's low. Swing to the next orb when it comes down and jump to the ledge, then turn around and grab the closest orb once more. Swing to the nearby ledge and hit the big red button to open a large door, then swing from the orb to the previous ledge. Scurry across the railing and enter the door. --------------- Overflow Tunnel --------------- Scurry across the pipe and carefully jump past the waste stream, then continue across the pipes and smash the wheel until both doors open. ---------------------------- Trash Bin 46: Trash Mountain ---------------------------- Jump across the platforms and climb up the small mound to your right, then use the orb to reach a nearby ledge. Jump to the brown ledge ahead of you and [be careful of the darker brown section that crumbles away] attack the human, then jump the series of ledges [when the waste isn't pouring] and grapple onto the nearby orb when it gets close. Ride the orb to the other side and jump up the stone ledges to climb up the mound, then walk against the conveyor. -------------- Conveyor 27b/6 -------------- Get ice power from the machine if you want, then enter the room beyond. ------------------------ McGenron Food Processing ------------------------ Attack the pair of scientists and climb the fence at the back of the room, then glide to either of the conveyors. Jump the goo as you smash the spout producing it until it is destroyed, then do the same to the other spout to free the animals before returning to the previous large room. ---------------------------- Trash Bin 46: Trash Mountain ---------------------------- Grapple to another conveyor and glide to a pipe, then scurry across the pipe to the next ledge. Attack the human beyond the glass and jump on the blue button, then glide down to the ground and enter the pipe to the right of the three waste spouts. ------------------ Overflow Tunnel 21 ------------------ Scurry across the pipes and carefully glide past the lasers and waste when it disappears, then smash the grate and enter the vents beyond. -------------------------------- Toilet Security Ventilation Duct -------------------------------- Just rush through this short set of vents. ------------------------- Sewer Maintenance Tower 4 ------------------------- Watch the cutscene. ---------------- Sewer A/B Trough ---------------- Go down the right stairs and enter the tunnel there. ------- Sewer B ------- Run to the end of the tunnel and climb the fence there. ------------------------ Caleb's Private Bathroom ------------------------ Find the toilet in the stall and clog it [press triangle], then smash the nearby medkit if needed before dropping back into the tunnel. ------- Sewer B ------- Carefully jump across the platforms to leave the sewer, don't fall in or you'll regret it. ---------------- Sewer A/B Trough ---------------- Enter the tunnel on your left now. ------- Sewer A ------- Run to the end of the tunnel and jump up the ledges on your right, then climb up the fence. ------------------------- Accounting Floor Bathroom ------------------------- Clog the toilet here and smash the medkit if you need to, then drop back to the tunnel. ------- Sewer A ------- Carefully jump across the platforms to leave the sewer, don't fall in or you'll regret it. ---------------- Sewer A/B Trough ---------------- Jump across the boxes in the middle of the room to reach the door that's in between the two tunnels, then pass through both doors. ------------------------ Main Sewage Pump Station ------------------------ Look for the pulsating ring of bulbs around the middle pillar, then smash every one of them to rise out of the room. ------------------------- Sewer Maintenance Tower 4 ------------------------- The waste is rising in this room so you need to be fast. Jump across the platforms and scurry across all the pipes, then quickly hit the wheel until the bridge lowers. Rush across the bridge and smash another wheel to lower the next bridge, then bolt across and start jumping up more platforms. Scurry across some pipes and smash a wheel, then rush across the bridge and continue your way to the top. Hit the button in the middle of the room and go through the vents where you originally entered. ------------------ Overflow Tunnel 21 ------------------ Head back through the tunnel to the large room ahead. ---------------------------- Trash Bin 46: Trash Mountain ---------------------------- Enter the pipe that's finally open between the trio of waste spouts. --------------------------- Incinerator Access Corridor --------------------------- Go through the tunnel and bash the wheel at the end before passing through the door. ----------- Incinerator ----------- Slide down through the series of doors. ------------------------- Bowels of the Incinerator ------------------------- Scurry across the pipe and jump across the moving platforms, then scurry across another pipe and jump on the crane on your left when it goes down. Jump across the next two cranes and ride to a zip-line, then use it and jump across some moving platforms and jump to the nearby crane when it lowers. Ride the crane to a pipe and scurry across it, then jump to the next crane when it gets close and ride it to another pipe before you scurry across and go through the doorway. ----------- Incinerator ----------- Jump through the lasers when it's safe and hit the three red buttons to start a cutscene. ---------------------- Inside the Incinerator ---------------------- For this boss you want to use the fire machines near the flames in the room. Each time you do the flame grows MUCH larger and the boss burns his hand on it. After this happens you need to jump up and hit the boss once in the face as he tries to blow out the flames, but quickly move left or right after because he destroys the part of the ledge that you're standing on. If you fall down you can scurry up one of the pipes to get back up. The boss starts spinning around with his hands out after you get a few hits so stay down or near the fire machines to avoid it. The boss also starts to make clouds of gas that slowly follow you [they also put out your flaming friend], so try to out run them if you can. Just keep up your attacks and hit the boss with your flaming rabbit at each of the flames to win the fight and start a cutscene. ------------------------- Bowels of the Incinerator ------------------------- Start climbing to get your results and choose a boon [I recommend the Continuous Sweep Ability], then follow the owl for a cutscene. After the cutscene simply head for the nearby warp tube and use it. ############################################################################### (E-11) VENTILATION REVISITED ############################################################################### ------------- Hubroom North ------------- Glide to the air current in the middle of the room and let it carry you up to a ledge, then ride the zip-line there and climb the fence. Glide up the air current and follow the path to a zip-line, then ride it and jump to a second one before the first one ends [pretty tricky]. Follow the path and ride a platform down, then enter a nearby room for a cutscene. Leave the room and head left, then watch for the orb by the hole in the railing. Let the orb carry you up before jumping to the next ledge, then glide up the air current and smash the large grate before drifting inside. Follow the vents to land in a small room, then attack the human there and hit the red button. Drop to the ground floor and find the gate with the helium tank, then use the tank to hit the target way up high and use the warp pipe up there. ---------------------------- North Helmut Testing Hallway ---------------------------- Smash the bots and grates to reach the next section, then glide from the air current to the platform in the air, or either of the ledges near the next air current. Smash the grates and bots on the other side to reach a similar section, then glide across this section and smash more bots and grates beyond to reach the next room. -------------------- North Helmut Testing -------------------- Ignore the chicken cannons and enter the small room with the computers, then use the warp tube inside. ---------------------- Vertical Shaft Hallway ---------------------- Smash the bots and the security hub before climbing the stairs, then smash more bots as you jump the lasers. Smash the medkit on your left up ahead if you need it, then head through the door. -------------- Vertical Shaft -------------- Use the helium and some gliding to reach the platform at the top and get your results, then use the nearby warp pipe. -------- Main Hub -------- Use the save terminal nearby and glide off the air current in the middle of the room to reach the nearby ledge, then head for the multi-power machine by the green light. Select radioactive goo from the machine and stand in the green light, then press triangle to ride the elevator [the game froze twice at this point for me]. ############################################################################### (E-12) MEDICAL ############################################################################### --------------- Decontamination --------------- Use the save terminal and attack the humans, then go through the door at the back of the room. ----------------------------- Biohazardous Research Hallway ----------------------------- Attack the human and go through the door, then kill the bots and take a key on the box. Go through the grate to reach a checkpoint in the next room. ------------------------ Pet Preservation Hallway ------------------------ Destroy the bots and try your best to get past the lasers and lights unseen, then smash the security hub and enter the next room. -------------------------------------------- Cryo-Pet Preesurv: Pet Preservation Facility -------------------------------------------- Use the zip-line to knock down the two frozen pets, then attack the pair of scientists and knock both pets up the ramp in the corner. This feeds them into the large machine which defrosts them both, but watch out when knocking the animals around. I managed to get one stuck IN the fridge and had to reload my last save. I ALSO managed to get stuck on the zip-line by sliding away from the animals [into the wall], so this room has it's fair share of glitches. Once you've freed the animals without any glitches you can move on to the next room. --------------------- Animal Operating Room --------------------- Attack the humans and break the medkit, then jump from the operating table to the shelf on the right side of the door. Attack the nearby human and hit the blue button, then jump across the pair of square lights and attack the other human. Hit the second blue button here to open the door, then drop down and go through it. ----------------------- Operating Room Hallways ----------------------- Attack the human and open the door, then attack another human and enter the vents to your right. ------------------------------------------------------- Vent B (Operating Room Hallways to Laboratory Hallways) ------------------------------------------------------- Watch out for fire as you work your way to the grate, then smash it and jump through. ------------------- Laboratory Hallways ------------------- Attack the humans and take a key on your right, then attack another human beyond the door and enter the next room up ahead. ------------------------- Animal Cloning Laboratory ------------------------- Smash the glass tube in the middle to start a cutscene, then ignore all the enemies and smash the 8 tubes instead so they stop moving. This gets rid of the enemies for you and opens a nearby door, so leave the room. ------------------- Laboratory Hallways ------------------- Ignore the human as you pass through the door and head left, then go through the door on your right by the other human to reach the next room. ----------------------- Marine Study Laboratory ----------------------- Jump through the lasers [they didn't seem to disappear] and attack the humans up the stairs to your left, then cross the ramp to reach the other side of the room. Attack more humans and smash the grate nearby, then enter the vents and smash the grate at the other end. Scurry across the pipe to reach a fence, then smash the grate beside it and enter the vents. ------------------------------------------ Vent C (Marine Study to Elevator 01 Shaft) ------------------------------------------ Use the map if you need to as you avoid fire and find a key, then smash the grate at the end and jump through it. ----------------- Elevator 01 Shaft ----------------- Fall down to the bottom and jump into the next room. ----------------- 2nd Floor Hallway ----------------- Smash the glass on your left and jump through it. ------------------------- Chemical Storage Facility ------------------------- Attack the humans and go through the next door. ------------------------------ 2nd Floor Hallways (Continued) ------------------------------ Wait for the lasers to disappear, then glide over the dangerous floor and enter the door. Attack some humans as you go through the next two doors, then jump a laser and attack a bot before going through another door. Grapple over the lasers and dangerous floor before attacking some humans, then head through the next door for a cutscene and checkpoint. ------------------ Animal Containment ------------------ You have four minutes in this room so quickly run past the human and through the gap in the fence on your left, then climb that fence to reach the floor above. Ignore the humans up here and hit the blue button up ahead, then cross the bridge and go through the door. ------------------ Carol Ann's Office ------------------ Hit the button on your left and rush up the stairs, then go through the door. ------------------ Animal Containment ------------------ Ignore the trio of humans and hit the red button up ahead to stop the timer and open a nearby door, then attack the humans before returning to the office. ------------------ Carol Ann's Office ------------------ Simply enter the door that's ahead of you for a cutscene before returning to animal containment. ------------------ Animal Containment ------------------ Enter the open cage between numbers 5 and 6 on the wall to get inside some vents. ----------------------------------------------- Vent D (Containment Escape Passage To 3rd Floor ----------------------------------------------- Watch out for fire as you go through the vents, then smash the grate at the end and jump through. ------------------------- 3rd Floor Secure Hallways ------------------------- Attack the human and use the gold orb to glide over the lasers, then go through the door and wait for the lasers to disappear. Glide over the dangerous floor by using the orb, then enter the door and smash the cages to free the animals. Attack the bots and human beyond the next door, then use the orbs to grapple over the dangerous floor up ahead. Approach the elevator to get your results and choose a boon [I recommend the Downloadable Level Maps], then ride it. ----------------------------- Genron Medical Facility Lobby ----------------------------- Head on over to Decontamination where you first entered this area and take the elevator back to the Food Court [after you use the save terminal]. -------- Main Hub -------- Drop to the ground floor and ride the elevator in the middle of the room, then take the left catwalk [2E signs by the door] and follow the passage to Endurance. ############################################################################### (E-13) SECURITY CARD - ENDURANCE ############################################################################### ----------------------- Endurance Entrance Hall ----------------------- Download the map from the map station if you got the map boon earlier, then use the save terminal. Climb the fence next and make your way to the Cryogenics Test Room [via the Zero Gravity Hangar]. -------------------- Cryogenics Test Room -------------------- Smash the medkit and enter the larger part of the room to start a short cutscene, then drop down and lure ONE guard into one of the four pods. Attack him from the ramp outside [so that you're not in the pod with him] and he should get sealed inside, then repeat this for the remaining three pods and guards. If you find that the guards are all staying together and more than one ends up in the same pod, then knock out all guards except one and lure him into a pod. The blue guard is shooting ice at you from above as you do this but if you keep moving then he's not really a problem. Once all four guards are sealed in the pods a short cutscene starts, then you get to fight the blue guard. Use the medkits around the round if you get low on health, otherwise hit the boss with 3-hit combos. Hit him with a single shot [he blocks it] after each combo and dodge his counter-attack, then begin your next combo and repeat until he gives you the security card! Jump repeatedly up the right side of the debris to reach the walkway again, then get a nitrogen freeze from the multi-power machine to get through the door. --------------------- Hall To Entrance Hall --------------------- Jump the lasers and smash the grate before dropping down the hole. Follow the vents and smash the grate, then continue past lasers to reach the next room. ----------------------- Endurance Entrance Hall ----------------------- Use the save terminal and go back to the Main Hub in the food court. -------- Main Hub -------- Ride the elevator in the middle of the room, then take the right catwalk [3E signs by the door] and follow the passage to Robotics. ############################################################################### (E-14) SECURITY CARD - ROBOTICS ############################################################################### -------------- Reception [3R] -------------- Use the save terminal and head for "Assembly & Construction [3G]", I find it was easiest to go from "Chip Design [3C]" and take the hallway that connects the two. ---------------------------- Assembly & Construction [3G] ---------------------------- Grapple onto one of the cranes form the pile of boxes at the back of the room [like you did the first time you were here], then get an ion charge from the multi-power machine. Use it to swing across the pair of dead orbs on your right and reach a ledge, then ride the nearby elevator. ---------------------------------------- Assembly to Technician's Laboratory Hall ---------------------------------------- Smash the bots and open the door for a cutscene, then use the fire tank and smash the bots up ahead before heading through the door. ----------------- Main Control Room ----------------- Fight the teleporting boss as some bots fall into the room every so often. He's not that hard and if you've still got some fire left over from the tank earlier he's even easier. Once you beat him, you get the Robotics Security Card! Return to Reception [3R] via some vents and use the save terminal, then go back to the Main Hub. -------- Main Hub -------- Use the save terminal and take the right catwalk [3E signs by the door] and follow the passage to Robotics. -------------- Reception [3R] -------------- Use the save terminal and fall down the hole to reach Power. ############################################################################### (E-15) SECURITY CARD - POWER ############################################################################### ----------- Plasma Core ----------- Work your way back to "Power Boss Room" where you fought the large electrical spider boss. --------------- Power Boss Room --------------- Grapple up the gold orbs at the back of the room to reach a switch, then hit the switch to start a short cutscene. Drop down and kill the four yellow enemies, then kill the blue one to get the security card for the Power area! Hypersnacks kept popping out of the one power node for me after the battle, so you can keep collecting them for a while until they eventually run out. Now take the warptube to Ventilation and head for the Vertical Shaft to reach the Main Hub once more. -------- Main Hub -------- Ride the large elevator at the back to reach Security, then go to Shipping from there. ############################################################################### (E-16) SECURITY CARD - SHIPPING ############################################################################### ------------------- Manufacturing Trash ------------------- Use the save terminal and head for the shipping hub. ------------ Shipping Hub ------------ Go to the middle of the room and hit the switch until the red platform is by the gold orbs, then jump to the platform and grapple to one of the yellow orbs. ---------------------------- Manufacturing Line 2 Hallway ---------------------------- Ride the orb until you see a grate on your left, then glide into it to reach the next room. -------------------- Manufacturing Line 2 -------------------- Run along the conveyor and grapple to the ledge up ahead, then use the next orb to reach a zip-line and quickly jump to another orb when the zip-line ends. Jump to the ledge and jump across the pillars to reach another ledge on your right, then use either helium tank and float to the red ledge up ahead. Attack the humans around here and smash the medkit if needed, then jump across the series of conveyors up ahead before using an orb to reach a catwalk. Attack the humans here and use either of the helium tanks, then fight drafts from above and below as you float to the next catwalk. Grab a key to your right and jump to the conveyor on your left, then use an orb to reach the spinning platforms nearby. Jump across the trio of pillars next and head for the orb by the conveyor, then jump to a pillar and another orb from there. Now double-jump and glide to the closest spinning platform and jump to an orb on your right, then jump to the conveyor and another orb beyond. Jump to a trio of conveyors from here and pass through the fence for a short cutscene. This enemy sometimes grabs your chain which means you need to button mash until he lets go. Otherwise just do your usual 3-hit combo before luring him into attacking. Either by hitting him once or just getting close to him, then you can counter-attack with another 3-hit combo. After the battle you get the Shipping Security Card! Smash the nearby grate and enter the vents beyond to reach the next room. ------------------------- Manufacturing Line 2 Vent ------------------------- Avoid the fire as you grab the key, then slide down to return to the Shipping Hub. ------------ Shipping Hub ------------ Return to Manufacturing Trash and use the save terminal, then go back to security and go to Genetics via the "atrium" passage. ############################################################################### (E-17) SECURITY CARD - GENETICS ############################################################################### ----- Lobby ----- Use the medkit and save terminal, then jump to the gold orb just left of the desk. Swing to the pillar and jump to the ledge beyond, then go through the series of doors. ----------------- Hall To Reception ----------------- Use the grinder to get through the first door, then head past lasers and security lights. Ignore the security robot and continue down the hall, then smash the medkit if needed and use the grinder to get through the door. Now walk down the short hallway and go through the door to reach the next room. --------------- Main Combinator --------------- Smash the glass and jump through the window for a cutscene, then go up either ramp and attack an orange guard. Scurry up the pipes in the corner to reach the ledge above, then drop down to the large black generator and smash it until the lights become red. Repeat this at the other side of the room before jumping all the way down to the ground floor, then approach the powerflies and scurry across the wire to keep up with them for the next 2 locations. Quickly Run after them and jump for the fourth location, then jump to the left railing and scurry up to them for the fifth location. Continue scurrying across this railing for the next 2 locations, then turn around and smash the third generator behind you for a short cutscene. Drop down and go through the A doors in the right corner of the room. ---------- Right Hall ---------- Jump past the lasers and use the medkits if needed, then pass the security lights and ignore the security robot as you enter the next room. ---------------- Right Combinator ---------------- Smash the bots and the two generators on this floor on both sides of you, then attack the orange guard nearby and smash the generator beside him. You're done in this room so go back to the Main Combinator and go through the B doors at the left corner of the room. --------- Left Hall --------- Jump past the lasers and use the medkits if needed, then pass the security lights and ignore the security robot as you enter the next room. --------------- Left Combinator --------------- Smash the bots and the two generators on this floor on both sides of you, then attack the orange guard nearby and smash the generator beside him. You're done in this room so go back to the Main Combinator for a cutscene. --------------- Main Combinator --------------- Head up the ramp and scurry along the pipe as if you were trying to reach either of the side generators again, then grab the orb near the door and ride it up before jumping to the ledge above. Make sure you don't fall through the glass as you jump to the key ahead, then ride the zip-line over to the human that's been throwing the beakers. Beat him with the usual 3-hit combo, dodge, counter-attack strategy to get the Genetics Security Card! Work your way back up to the zip-lines and fall through the glass instead, then head back to the Lobby and use the save station there before going back through Security to reach the Main Hub. -------- Main Hub -------- Use the save terminal and glide from the air current to reach the ledge above. Use the multi-power machine to get radioactive goo, then stand in the green light and take the elevator to Medical. ############################################################################### (E-18) SECURITY CARD - MEDICAL ############################################################################### --------------- Decontamination --------------- Use the save terminal and jump on the monitors near the middle of the room, then jump to the gold orb and swing to the door beyond. ------------------------------- Decontamination Freight Hallway ------------------------------- Use the toxic barrel if you want and attack the humans, then take the elevator down. ------------------ 4th Floor Hallways ------------------ Attack the humans and go through the door, then avoid the bots and take the door on your left. Take the pair of doors on your right and free the animals by smashing the cages, then attack the human and go through the next door. --------------- Operating Stage --------------- Go through the door on your left and attack the humans, then jump from the machines to the square light above. Jump to the upper floor from here and attack another human, then smash the grate above the box and enter the vents. Smash the grate at the other end and enter the next section, then avoid the humans and use the medkit if needed. Head through the door and use the ion barrel to your left if needed, then go through the door beside it. Attack/avoid the humans and enter the vents to your left, then smash the grate at the end as you drop into the next section. Attack/avoid the humans as you jump from the machines to the square light, then jump to the upper floor and go through the door. Jump through the broken window from the box for a short cutscene, then use Redmond in the four grinders while trying to avoid the shots from the annoying human above. Smash the bots after you successfully break each grinder, then attack the human once all four grinders are broken. Stick to doing a three-hit combo and dodging his attack before launching into another three-hit combo to easily win and get the Medical Security Card! Go through the door with the green light and go back to Decontamination. --------------- Decontamination --------------- Use the save terminal and go back to the main hub, then use the save terminal there and head for Security. Once in Security you should fall down the trash chute once more to enter Waste. ############################################################################### (E-19) SECURITY CARD - WASTE ############################################################################### ----------------------- Trash Bin 47: The Chasm ----------------------- Use the save terminal and head for McGenron Food Processing. ------------------------ McGenron Food Processing ------------------------ Climb the fence and jump to the conveyors, then jump from the gold orb to the nearby platform. Smash the grate in front of you and enter the vents beyond. ------------------------ Recycle Ventilation Duct ------------------------ Head through the vents and smash the grate, then wait until you see a platform outside before jumping to it. ------------------ Recycle Corridor 6 ------------------ Sit back on the platform and wait until you reach the checkpoint in the next room. ---------------- Recycle Sector 4 ---------------- Jump to the orb before your platform falls to the lava below, then double jump to the next orb and jump across the series of platforms until you reach the back of the room. Turn around here and jump to some higher platforms, then double jump to the zip-line above to land on a ledge. --------------- Recycling Tubes --------------- The moves in this next section are pretty tough, but always remember you can hold R2 on any of the pipes that you land on and take a break before moving on. Ride the next zip-line and hold R2 as you glide to the pipe at the end, then scurry to the end of this pipe and ride the zip-line above you. Hold R2 for this one as well so you can glide and land on the pipe below when the zip-line ends. Scurry to the end of this pipe and use the zip-line above, then do a double jump at the end and glide onto the next pipe [tricky]. ------------- Smelting Pits ------------- Scurry to the end of this pipe [as you reach a MUCH needed checkpoint] and glide to the moving platforms, then jump across them and jump to an orb on your right. Jump across more moving platforms to your right and jump to the next orb on your left, then jump across the moving platforms to your left. Finally use the zip-line above you to smash through a grate and enter some vents. ---------------- Recycle Sector 3 ---------------- Smash the grate ahead of you and jump to the zip-line, then ride it until you smash through a grate. Go through the short vents and smash a grate, then jump into the next room for a cutscene. ---------------------- VP Of Waste Management ---------------------- I find it works best to use the Chain Charge ability here and follow it up with a three-hit combo. Simply repeat this until you win the fight and get the Waste Security Card! Now smash the nearby grate and enter the vents beyond. ############################################################################### (E-20) ALL CARDS ############################################################################### ------------------------- McGenron Ventilation Duct ------------------------- Avoid the fire as you go through the vents and return to Trash Bin 46: Trash Mountain. ---------------------------- Trash Bin 46: Trash Mountain ---------------------------- Drop to the floor and go to the Bowels of the Incinerator. ------------------------- Bowels of the Incinerator ------------------------- Scurry across a little bit of the pipe on your right, then jump into the tunnel on your right. Follow the tunnel until you see a door on your right, then ignore it. Take the door ahead of you instead and use the warptube to reach Ventilation. ------------- Hubroom North ------------- Head back to the Main Hub via the Vertical Shaft and go to Security from there. --------- Boss Area --------- Kill the 30 bots to win this incredibly easy boss battle, then go up the ramp and use your security cards to get the door open before you ride the elevator. ############################################################################### (E-21) EXECUTIVE ############################################################################### -------------- Ceo Lobby West -------------- Use the save terminal before attacking the human, then head through the door and attack a pair of humans. Jump from the red wall to reach the upper ledge, then attack two more humans and enter the next room. -------------- Ceo Main Lobby -------------- Attack the human and smash open the front of the cage to free the turtle, then use a double-jump to climb on the fountain with the Genron logo on it. Grapple across the series of gold orbs and ride the zip-line left, then go through the door on the ledge where you land. ------------------ Ceo 2nd Floor West ------------------ Attack the group of humans and enter the next room. --------------- Ceo North Lobby --------------- Attack the group of humans and enter the next room. ------------------ Ceo 2nd Floor East ------------------ Attack the group of humans and enter the door that doesn't lead back to Ceo Main Lobby, then fall down the hole in the corner. -------------- Ceo Lobby East -------------- Go through the door and attack human beyond, then climb the stairs and attack another human. Hit the yellow switch on the wall up here and return to Ceo North Lobby [climb up the hole that you fell down originally]. --------------- Ceo North Lobby --------------- Grapple onto the first orb below the blue spinning object and swing across the rest of the orbs to reach the ledge above, then attack the human to your right. Swing to the coloured ledges from the orb there for a key, then backtrack and use the elevator on this upper ledge. -------------------- Ceo Ascent 1st Level -------------------- Go through either door for a checkpoint and use the medkits if needed, then use the helium tank as you fly up past the rotating objects [speed up or slow down as needed]. Hit the target above and enter the vents to reach the next room. -------------------- Ceo Ascent 2nd Level -------------------- Follow the vents and climb the ladder, then continue onward and smash the grate before dropping through it. Open the door and run left past the humans, then use the fire machine if you want. Go through the doors and follow the catwalk to find the map terminal, then download the map and return to the room with the humans. Recharge your fire ability if it's running low and drop to the lower level of this room, then attack the human and use Redmond in the grinder before dropping through the glass. -------------------- Ceo Ascent 1st Level -------------------- Use the helium tank once more to float past the spinning objects, but ignore the target this time and float through the hole in the glass instead. -------------------- Ceo Ascent 2nd Level -------------------- Continue rising up this shaft as you avoid spinning objects and pipes in this section, then hit the target above and follow the vents to the next room. -------------------- Ceo Ascent 3rd Level -------------------- Drop into the room and use the door, then head right past the humans as you head through the next door. Pass through the next door and head right along the catwalk and through another door. -------------------- Hall To Rocket Tower -------------------- Smash all the bots as you head through the doors, then use the grinder to reach the next room and a checkpoint. ------------- Crane Section ------------- Jump onto the walkway ahead of you and hide in the shadowy section to your right, then wait for the singing metal to move away from you before running down the walkway. Glide across the circular platforms until you reach a yellow ledge, then go right and use the zip-line there. The ledge that you land on falls away, so quickly scurry across the next pipe to reach another yellow ledge. Move to the far end of this ledge and jump up some stairs to your left, then follow the passage to the next room. ----------- Engine Test ----------- Grapple onto the moving orb and ride it down, then jump to the walkway and quickly jump across the series of walkways as they crumble away beneath you. Ride the conveyor next and hang off a floating orb at the end, then jump off it to reach another conveyor above. Jump to another orb at the end of this conveyor and ride it up to a third conveyor, then climb the stairs to reach a checkpoint. Glide and run past the engines when they're not firing, then follow the passage to the next room. ------------- Crane Section ------------- Swing across the series of gold orbs and go down some stairs and ramps to reach the next room. ------- Welders ------- Drop to the conveyor and carefully jump past the moving machines, then follow the walkway and jump the gap to reach the next room. ------------ Inner Rocket ------------ Smash the 8 windows and the pair of keyboards around the middle monkey to free them all, then climb the ladder beyond the next door and jump off to your right. Follow the passage to a ladder and climb to the top of it, then go through the door to reach the next room. ------------- Crane Section ------------- Jump across the pair of gold orbs and head for the moving blue orb on your right, then ride it up and jump to a gold orb. Jump to the next gold orb to your left and head for the moving blue orb up ahead, then ride it up and jump to the gold orb to your right. Jump to the next gold orb and glide to the ledge from it, then enter the door for a checkpoint. ----------------- Hall To Penthouse ----------------- Use the grinder to get through the door and attack the bots beyond, then use another grinder and destroy more bots. Use a third grinder here and beat more bots, then head through the door up ahead to reach a checkpoint and the next room. ------------- Ceo Penthouse ------------- Use the ladder on your right to reach some vents, then follow them to get past the lasers. Drop down and enter the next section, then approach the stairs to get your results and choose a boon [I recommend the Hypersnack Bonus Level 1, unless you're already at level 20]. Enter the next section and smash the wired monitor at the back of the room to start a long cutscene. Leave this section after the cutscene to start a shorter cutscene. ---------- Final Boss ---------- For this battle you want to run towards the boss while jumping his fireballs and quickly hide behind one of the pillars. Run out and jump towards the boss next to start a short cutscene as you get sealed into a smaller area. Run around the room now and lurk around any unlit lamps, so the boss lights them with his fireballs. Don't forget the two hanging lamps by the curtains, once you've lit both of those the curtains burn away and the boss starts chasing you. For the remainder of the battle the boss has a few attacks that he can use on you. First of all he can swing his cane or kick you from close range, but both are avoided by keeping your distance. The boss can also stomp his foot and damage you ANYWHERE in the room as the ground shakes, but you can usually see him slowly setting this move up in time to jump in the air [and avoid taking damage]. Finally the boss sometimes charges at you, but this is avoided by constantly moving Lure the boss into attacking the four bookcases on the left and right walls. Once he has destroyed four of the bookcases on one wall some animals will fall down to attack him, then once the bookcases on both walls are destroyed a short cutscene starts. Let the animals attack the boss until he turns green [from the skunks], then lay into him with your combos until he returns to normal [use any of the medical tape that you find on the floor if you need it]. Repeat this until the boss's health meter is drained to win the battle and start the ending! ############################################################################### (E) CODES ############################################################################### There seems to be codes available for this game, because you can press square at the "Abilities & Powerups" screen to enter the restricted area. At this point you are given the option to enter a cheat sequence.
