Introduction [--INTR--] --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to Way of the Samurai 2! Finally after a long wait it is here, and having just finished my degree it couldn't have come at a better time. After writing an FAQ for the previous game I find that I just can't play this one without wanting to write another. So here it is the Combo FAQ mark II I guess but hang on, what is that you say? The combat system has completely changed? Oh...I guess I'll write a sword FAQ instead then... To be fair, the need for combos is not entirely gone. It's just that the game does a lot of it for you now, with set strings of combos for each weapon. Sometimes these strings can be linked though :) and so the combo part of this FAQ is born. Unfortunately it will not be on the same scale as before though. In the sword section of the FAQ I will attempt to explain the new upgrade system, as well as where to get your hands on the best weapons. However as this task is quite a behemoth in terms of shear size, any help would be gratefully received. Anything marked with ??? in the FAQ I don't know as of yet, so if you do then please email me at the address below. If you wish to submit anything to this FAQ, full credit will be given where due, then feel free to Email me at TheManFromEngland@hotmail.com. Please ensure that you mention Way of the Samurai 2(WOTS2) in the subject line to ensure a response. I apologise in advance for a late reply, I have a life to lead here you know! Glad we got that over with, hope the FAQ helps. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. She will be positioned outside the Blacksmith shop where the warrior is usually standing. These upgrades can be costly however, the last one to go from 90 to 100 swords capacity takes over 8000 mon! Best start saving those pennies then... --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7. Blacksmith [-SMITHY-] --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unlike in Way of the Samurai, in part 2 the blacksmith is key to upgrading your sword. The new addition that makes this necessary is the quality fraction rating of your sword. In order to increase your attack and defence stats the most, it is vital that the denominator of this fraction is as hign as possible. The maximum value that I have seen is 12, but some swords have a much lower maximum quality than others.
