Ameria Ameria automatically joins at the end of Chapter 11. Andarc Andarc is with you from the beginning of the game! Axel Axel automatically joins at the end of Chapter 11. Blue Mercenary The Mercenary Group will join you if you complete the "A Letter of Challenge" quest. This quest will only appear if you succeed at doing all of Chiepoo's quests and NONE of X & Co.'s quests. You must also have completed the Ruins of Obel dungeon atleast once and have a Guild Rank of S. To complete "A Letter of Challenge" head to the 6th floor of the Obel Ruins on a Water Day (The Flowing Chamber) and defeat the mercenaries. Busk Busk automatically joins after Chapter 18. Carrie Carrie automatically joins at the end of Chapter 11. Cedric Cedric joins after you successfuly complete the "Catch the Eat-and-Run Bandit" quest. Be careful NOT to kill him during this battle, and he will join along with Rachel. Champo Head to Merseto in, or after, Chapter 15. In the "Gossip" section talk to the Old Man. Head to the port and win the battle to have Champo join! Charlemagne Charlemagne joins with Reinbach after you successfully complete the "Dear Friend..." quest. Coop Coop automatically joins at the beginning of Chapter 15. Corselia Corselia automatically joins after Chapter 13. Dario Head to the Nest of Pirates in Chapter 10 on a Wind or Earth Day and Dario will join along with Nalleo. If you get Sigurd and Hervey instead, by visiting on a Fire or Water Day, then Dario and Nalleo will be available again after Chapter 14. Ema Visit Merseto in of after Chapter 11 to have Gary and Ema join your party. Eugene Head to Na-Nal on a Water Day and speak to Eugene in the "Gossip" section to have him join. Flare Flare automatically joins after leaving Obel Palace for the first time. Frederica Frederica automatically joins in Chapter 16. Gary Visit Merseto in of after Chapter 11 to have Gary and Ema join your party. Gretchen Gretchen automatically joins at the end of Chapter 11. Hero IV (Lazlo) For Lazlo (Hero IV) to appear you must have loaded Suikoden 4 data with all 108 Stars at the beginning of the game. Then in Chapter 12 visit Obel and talk with Lino in the "Gossip" section. Head to the Deserted Island, help the hero, and he'll join. Hervey Head to the Nest of Pirates in Chapter 10 on a Fire or Water Day and Hervey will join along with Sigurd. If you get Dario and Nalleo instead, by visiting on a Wind or Earth Day, then Hervey and Sigurd will be available again after Chapter 14. Jeane Successfully finish the Rank A quest "Fragments of the Five Elements" and bring the 5 fragments to Haruna's Inn to have Jeane join. Jeremy Jeremy automatically joins at the end of Chapter 11. Jewel Jewel joins automatically in Chapter 16. Karl Get the Rank B quest "Missing Children" and head to the Ruins of Collanbal. Now, have Kyril talk to Karl to get him to join. Karl will NOT join if Kyril doesn't speak to him in this battle. Katarina Get the Rank C quest "Get the Imposters (Part 2)" and head to El-Eal. Win the battle and Katarina will join with Keneth. Kate Head to Haruna in CHapter 18 or later and "Head to the Street" Corner. Win the battle and recruit her. Keneth Get the Rank C quest "Get the Imposters (Part 2)" and head to El-Eal. Win the battle and Katarina will join with Keneth. Kika Kika automatically joins after you visit Obel in Chapter 9. Kyril Kyril is your main character, you don't need to recruit him! Lalacle Lalacle can only be recruited in New Game+. She will join in Chapter 4 of New Game+. Lino En Kuldes Lino join automatically in Chapter 18. Maxine Get the Rank E quest "Hand Delivery" and head to Hermitage Island. Mercenary Leader The Mercenary Group will join you if you complete the "A Letter of Challenge" quest. Head to the Terana Plains and beat Mitsuba in a one-on-one duel with Kyril and she joins. Mizuki Mizuki joins you after reaching Obel Palace in Chapter 9. Nalkul Head to Merseto in, or after, Chapter 15. In the "Gossip" section talk to the Old Man. Head to the port and win the battle to have Nalkul join! Nalleo Head to the Nest of Pirates in Chapter 10 on a Wind or Earth Day and Dario will join along with Nalleo. If you get Sigurd and Hervey instead, by visiting on a Fire or Water Day, then Dario and Nalleo will be available again after Chapter 14. Noah Head to Merseto in, or after, Chapter 15. In the "Gossip" section talk to the Old Man. Head to the port and win the battle to have Noah join! Ornela Ornela automatically joins after Chapter 18. Pablo In Chapter 9 speak to Pablo in the "Gossip" section of Middleport to get him to join. Paula Paula joins automatically in Chapter 16. Red Mercenary The Mercenary Group will join you if you complete the "A Letter of Challenge" quest. This quest will only appear if you succeed at doing all of Chiepoo's quests and NONE of X & Co.'s quests. You must also have completed the Ruins of Obel dungeon atleast once and have a Guild Rank of S. To complete "A Letter of Challenge" head to the 6th floor of the Obel Ruins on a Water Day (The Flowing Chamber) and defeat the mercenaries. Rachel Successfuly complete the "Catch the Eat-and-Run Bandit" quest. Be careful NOT to kill Cedric during this battle, and he will join along with Rachel. Reinbach Reinbach joins with Charlemagne after you successfully complete the "Dear Friend..." quest. Reinhold After getting Mitsuba return to Merseto and speak with Reinhold. Rene Successfully complete the Ranke E quest "Seeking Treasure Hunt Partners" and Rene will join. Rita Successfully complete the Ranke E quest "Game on!" and Rita will join. Roget In the Graska Palace battle in Chapter 18 you MUST speak to Roget with Kyril if you want him to join! If you do not speak with him, he won't be able to be recruited for the rest of that playthrough! Selma Selma joins automatically in Chapter 16. Seneca Seneca is with you from the beginning of the game! Sigurd Head to the Nest of Pirates in Chapter 10 on a Fire or Water Day and Hervey will join along with Sigurd. If you get Dario and Nalleo instead, by visiting on a Wind or Earth Day, then Hervey and Sigurd will be available again after Chapter 14. Simeon Simeon automatically joins after Chapter 16. Snowe For Snowe to appear you must have loaded Suikoden 4 data with all 108 Stars at the beginning of the game. Then, after recruiting Lazlo (Hero IV), head to Razril and speak to the boy in the "Gossip" section. After, head to the Back Alley and help Snowe. Tal After recruiting Keneth head to Razril and speak to Tal in the "Gossip" section. Trishtan Trishtan automatically joins after leaving Obel Palace for the first time. Wendel Wendel automatically joins at the end of Chapter 11. Yellow Mercenary The Mercenary Group will join you if you complete the "A Letter of Challenge" quest. This quest will only appear if you succeed at doing all of Chiepoo's quests and NONE of X & Co.'s quests. You must also have completed the Ruins of Obel dungeon atleast once and have a Guild Rank of S. To complete "A Letter of Challenge" head to the 6th floor of the Obel Ruins on a Water Day (The Flowing Chamber) and defeat the mercenaries. Yu Successfully complete the Rank D quest "Medecinal Roots Wanted" by gathering 3 Savage Sprout Roots.
